We called Pedro and were surprised how quickly he came out, the VERY affordable estimate, the turnaround time, and the outcome! The outcome was better than expected. (We wound up not selling/moving). That gravel that he spread, leveled, and tamped down remained in place even through winters/snowplows/shoveling all these years until just about a month ago when the highway dept. dug it out in order to put pavement in as they were resurfacing our street. It's not very often anymore that quality work like that is done. We hired him for more projects as well. We are lucky to have someone so good right here in our neighborhood! Two more projects we hired him for were the leveling of the corner of our yard and then topping a 10 x 16 section of it with limestone for a shed that will be delivered and leveling another section of the yard and prepping it for a firepit we are going to build. (If we can't figure it out, I KNOW who we will call!) Pedro and his wife showed up in extreme heat and did these two jobs PERFECTLY! I had NO idea there were different types/colors of limestone. They put beautiful red sand down, then topped it with red crushed limestone (that is finer than the white limestone going under the shed) for the firepit area and it's prettier than expected. They are also very careful not to leave nasty ruts in yards when they do work requiring the machinery. So, to wrap it up, THANK YOU PEDRO & FAMILY for being an HONEST, HIGH QUALITY, AFFORDABLE, DEPENDABLE business for us! The best of the best! I filled out on-line forms from several local companies. In this age of…read moremultiple ways to communicate, Pett was the only responsive one and Mike came out within days. (the others either didn't respond or finally responded weeks later) He listened to my concerns and where I had issues with ice buildup and standing water. When the crew arrived to remove and prep the old driveway, they all worked well together and were focused on making sure all of my concerns were addressed. They came the next day to pave and there was NO skimping anywhere! They made sure it was laid and rolled properly and flat. There were absolutely NO roller lines, or low spots (bird baths) anywhere on my over 3,000 square foot driveway with a sloping pitch from the road. I did receive one other quote for comparison and they were $600.00 less than Pett but I felt more comfortable going with Pett and it was definitely the right decision. I am a retired public school district Maintenance director and have been responsible for tens of millions of dollars in large projects and have overseen many parking lot paving repairs and replacements. Pett was never a contractor for any of those over the years but I wish they were. Pett is top notch and I highly recommend them.

I gave two stars because he was responsive via text- but don't appreciate their strategy.
