The…read moreyoung technician, who was competent and friendly, examined my safe lock, replaced the 9-V battery, waited five minutes for the reset, and successfully activated the digital pad lock. This entire process took under ten minutes, yet the company charged $180.41. This seems excessive and highway robbery. Charging $100 for labor to change and out in a 9-V battery and recommending a specific energizer battery took barely a minute on top of the service call and battery cost. Even the digital pad was still brand new as I replaced it five years ago and it didn't even cost me that much back then. This was truly outrageous and beyond overpriced. Highway robbery!
