These folks are awesome! The spring on my garage door snapped and would only go about 1/5 of the way up. I called Kenny on a Tuesday at 8:30 am, explained the service needed and within 1/2 hour a couple of his workers (Jackson and Chris) were at my house taking care of the problem. The workers got down to business took care of the issue with 1/2 hour. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

We heard snap from the garage, ended up being the coil spring had broke in two. I called RQGD left a voicemail for Kenny. He promptly returned my call and sent Jonny and someone else out within the hour. Even though I didn't say it was an emergency, he treated it like one with the urgency. Within 35 minutes our garage bay was up and running like new. I really appreciate hard honest work and when people say they will be there at a certain time goes along ways with me. Great job fellas!! read more

I called Robbins this morning because the garage door wouldn't open all the way. Someone was here within 45 minutes. They looked at it and got it to start working, they said if I had any more problems to call and they would return. On my return later in the day it wouldn't close all the way unless I hit it twice. I called again and they were back within an hour. They changed the setting and said it should work. Since my husband is in the hospital right now I decided not to take a chance and opted to get a new opener. I was not pressured by them at all. The employees were extremely polte. They were able to put in a new opener within an hour. I was very pleased and would recommend to everyone. Thank you Robbins! read more

Was quoted $1900 with a 2-6 month lead time for a simple jack shaft modification to one of my garage doors. The same door I purchased & had installed by Robbins several years back. For comparison, I was quoted half the price from two other quality shops with a one week turnaround installed. Long story short... I had the work completed by one of the other shops. read more

Our garage door was out of alignment & it popped off the rails. We unhooked the spring from the rollers so we could get it closed. We figured maybe it could be an easy fix but we didn't want to mess with it because those things store a crazy amount of energy. Found this place on yelp with good reviews, called them & they came out just a few hours after we called. The guy fixed it super quick & the price was great. He readjusted our rails so it wouldn't happen again, got it all hooked up & greased up & it's working great! Wonderful service and great experience overall. read more

Garage door opener blew up and door crashed on a Saturday night. Called and left message on a Sunday. Got a call Monday just before 8 am. Kenny listened to my concern and had a crew out that afternoon. The main door spring broke and caused the failure. My other door was cracked and not long for this world. So we got two new doors and one new opener. One door was special order but they got right on it and we had everything replaced in one morning. The crew was very competent and professional. They hauled of all the old doors and hardware and left our place clean. I highly recommend this company. The best part the total job came in less than original quote. read more

I spoke with Kenny on the phone to inquire about a quote for our garage door replacement. Apparently this company does not service Sacramento. Kenny seemed incredibly disinterested in receiving my business. He told me he would send me a quote in a few days, it's been almost two weeks and I've not heard anything back from him. read more

My garage door hit an obstruction just as it started to come down, too soon for the automatic reverse to kick in. The result was that one entire side of the door lifted off the track, with rollers falling out like rain, and the cable off its idler wheel, tangled into a knot. The door came to rest at a crazy angle, only halfway closed. It was a scary mess, and I envisioned a major rehab job to get it all right again. To make this brief, I called Robbins at 8:00 am and their tech John had it all back together good as new by 3:00 pm that afternoon, 15 minutes after he arrived! Very impressive in terms of prompt response and quality of workmanship. I don't look forward to my next garage door problem, but it's bound to happen and I now know who to call. read more

Way too easy!! We had another garage door repair company stand us up! We called before 5p.m. and they showed up as promised the next morning!!! A spring broke in our garage door and we needed them both replaced. The young man came in and started to work! He was so quick I didnt even get to catch his name! Not even an hour and the work was all done!!! We will not hesitate to give them a call if we ever need repairs or to replace a garage door!! read more

I wish I can give them 10 stars! Great company. They installed my garage door in 2017. Which they did a great job at. Today I was locked out of my garage because my circuit breaker in the garage tripped. I called them and they had someone out to get me into the garage in less than 2 hours. They also replaced the lock so I have a new set of keys. I know what you are thinking. How did your circuit breaker trip and you got locked out of a garage. This is a detached garage with no other entry door . I also think my fiancé threw away our key to the garage lock without thinking. Hah. What a day. read more

I have to say this was a quick and easy transaction. I needed a new garage door opener for my house, I priced the "big box" stores and Amazon but being in the home improvement business myself, I knew I wanted more of a small personal service. I looked up local businesses with 5 stars, I called and they answered, if it went to voicemail I would have just called another company but having an actual person answer we set up the appointment. The installer showed up on time and everything went well. If I ever need garage door service, repair I'll definitely use them again. read more

These Guys were Amazing. My garage doors are beautiful. They were on time worked non stop till the doors and opener were installed, programmed my car. Explained everything in detail so I could understand it. I've dealt with several service type businesses for my house and this was by far the best. Thanks Kenny and Guys! read more

We had a kayak incedent where my son backed his big truck into my driveway and made major dents in the garage door frrom the boats sticking out. It was a holiday weekend (of course) but they called me back later the same day and had a guy out first thing the next morning to give an estimate. I was really lucky to get a great deal on a door that ended up not being used by someone else, and although the color was not a perfect match it can always be painted later. The following day the installer came out and had the entire door done in 1.5 hours! A wonderful local company that I would recommend to anyone and use again myself if I ever need to. read more

I was very impressed by Robbins from the get go. I had discussed my garage door issue with the owner, and luckily he was able to send someone out the next day. Jackson was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the issue to me, and had the problem fixed in a jiff. The door has never worked (or sounded) better. Much thanks to Jackson and Robbins for a job well done and outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend them to everyone and would continue to do business with them in the future read more

Great experience. Prompt reply after leaving a phone message on a Saturday Kenny returned my call first thing Monday morning. Kenny was polite he listened to my concerns and said I'll send someone out there in about 2 hours. The person was right on time and proceeded to repair my garage door. Johnny repaired the door quicker than I could have ever imagined and was knowledgeable and courteous. I would only call this company for any assistance with a garage door repair or a purchase. It is nice to know there are still reliable honest businesses out there. Robbins is the best. read more

I called the first place that came up on a search these guys where not them. I called them second and went with them and glad I did! The garage door broke Friday and they came out the same day. They quoted (they being Travis) quoted us a price and broke down all he would be doing if we went with them(same thing the other company did but Travis didn't try to up sell) It took him about an hour to get the job done and charged less than what was quoted on Friday. He called to make sure we where still on for the morning and was here well within the time he said he'd be here. He also I formed us that the moater on the garage door opener was peobabl5going to go out soonish (6 mo to a year) and quotes us a price on tuning it up. Very pleased with the service read more

My wife came home from work and the garage door broke and I mean BROKE!!!!! Panels separated, rollers detached, cable un spooled from the spring and the rails bent. It was and absolute mess. I called the and the owner answered. It was already after 5 but he asked me for my address and two technicians showed up in less than 45 minutes. They hooked the cable and spring back up and made sure my wife could get her car out of the garage for work in the morning. Didn't even charge me for a service call. After making sure we could get the car out, they took measurements and asked if I wanted it fixed or replaced. How they could fix the door with the hinges sheered off I have no idea but they said they could do it. The technicians left and told me the owner would be in contact in the morning. Once again I spoke to the owner, he gave me all my options and told me exactly what they had in stock. I chose to replace the door and they showed up before 1pm same day. Removed every piece of the door, disposed of it and replaced every single part. Didn't reuse a single thing. I went with the door they recommended and I love it. It's so much cleaner, quieter and I can already tell my garage will be cooler then before. This is the 3rd time Robbin's has done service for me and I cannot stress highly enough how great it is to have someone you can count on when you need them. read more

They were very helpful in coming up with a fix for my garage door opener. I was willing to buy a new opener and they new it. They could have easily sold me a new one. Instead, the found a few parts for for my old one and only charged for a service call. Very pleased. read more

All I can say is wow! I expected to spend at least $1000 today but the guy that came out was really honest. Fixed me up for a 100.00. Explained my options of repair vs replacing. They have my business going forward. The tech was really sharp on knowledge and customer service. read more

I've used these guys for many years. Top rate customer service. I decided to replace my aging garage door opener and called them early afternoon and they were there by 3:30 to replace my garage door opener! Can't beat that! read more

I am pleased to add my five star review to the list these guys have stacked up. The original equipment doors and single opener on our 30+ year-old house worked ok...until I opened one of them at the same time I opened the rear hatch on my wife's SUV. Both sustained minor but significant damage. I used Yelp! to find both auto body shops and garage door shops for quotes. There were plenty of both listed. It was quickly clear from the folks who came to evaluate my garage door faux pas that this was an good opportunity to replace the old, uninsulated garage doors with new insulated ones with windows, so I proceeded to ask for apples-to-apples quotes from four of the suppliers with positive Yelp! ratings. All of them came in with numbers that were within a few hundred dollars of each other for installing two new insulated doors and one new opener. (I wanted to move the existing opener to the door that seldom gets used, which had never had one up to now.) A family friend recommended Robbin's after I had nearly made my decision. When I looked them up on Yelp! I found their reviews were 100% five stars. I am not sure why I had not already called them to get a quote. Cutting to the chase: they came out, looked at the job and made some recommendations for upgrades in the door design that had not been discussed by the others. When their quote came in, it was a couple of hundred dollars lower than the lowest I had previously received. I selected them on Thursday, and the doors were installed the following Tuesday. I could not be happier! Others included charges for hauling off the existing doors in their quotes. That was not spelled out in the Robbin's quote, but the Robbin's guys did that without asking. The others listed two clickers coming with the new opener; again, Robbin's did not spell it out, but they delivered three! Only going back in time to before I screwed up would make me happier read more

I accidently backed up into my garage door this afternoon and i banged up my garage door's bottom panel pretty bad then my hubby came home and tried to "fix" it but he ended up detaching the bottom panel to the point where it was hanging and even more bent. To make a long story short we called Robbins for service in Lodi and they sent a lovely gentlemen who was practically off work already. He showed up 10 minutes after we called and he made it look like nothing ever happened to our garage door. For an amazing price ... I highly recommend that if you have an issue with your garage door to call them first. read more

Robbins does amazing work. Customer service was incredible in both coordinating the work getting done and in terms of the work itself.
