If there is a chance of no stars I would give this company no stars. We have been waiting for them for a few hours to come out and re-key our business and were told two times that their ETA would be 20 to 25 minutes and still no one has shown up for hours later. The last time I called i was asked to please hold while he called the technician and he disconnected the call. I have called back 3 times left to messages and send one text and have not heard back from anyone from this company. This company is very unprofessional I would not recommend them. So I had got service from them I have 98 ford escort that needed a new key because I lost my key ring well I was getting quotes on yelp from locksmiths in my area I thought Arias Lock And Key was the best fit for my needs and was mobile . Well the guy came out but before that I continuously asked them are they going to be able to make my key for my old car he said yes so he came out . He was nice and polite asking me if I had two keys for the car I said no I only have one . I guess some people have 2 keys to use and get into the vehicle . I can assure u I had 1 key to start car and to get in with . He said coo so he's making my key which didn't take long at all I was happy because I had work so I was on a time schedule. He's finished with my new car key he goes to try it out the key doesn't open the driver door I'm like it doesn't work he tries it it doesn't work for him doesn't open the door nor the trunk I'm frustrated like uh why it's not working . The key tech took the key started to do more work which didn't work . I'm like wow so I can't open my doors or my trunk how am I going to lock my car . He tells me he can go back and get his ford key machine maker and make another key I'm like I gotta go to work I can't wait for you he said he will come back tommorrow around the same time to make a new key that worked for the doors and trunk . I said okay I had his number in everything . I tried to call it was a different tech so I tried to explain the situation he was like okay hold on a moment *Hangs up * and stops answering for me I didn't get the key I needed and which they told me I was going to get . The lack of professionalism is a disgrace and worst customer service smh . They texted me I texted back no response I had to call from different number so they can answer that's crazy . Due to a malfunction of the latch on our front door late last night, it would not open when I tried to go back in (after taking our puppy out one last time). Standing out on the front porch with a wily puppy, I started to panic. My husband was out of town, it was after 10 p.m. and I knew the problem was not the need for a key, since the door was already unlocked!! Blessedly, I had my cell phone in my pocket and started searching for an emergency locksmith in Lodi. I was able to reach Arias Lock and Key and was told they'd have someone out within 35 minutes!!! SO GRATEFUL. Carlos, the owner, showed up and figured out that the front door would not be the best entry option, so he managed to get into the side garage door and then spent considerable time working to get into the door to the house. This involved drilling through two difficult locks (and then installing a new touchpad lock, instead.) This very kind and competent man not only came out until midnight, he also did not want to charge me his usual fee!!!! I was blown away by that, but told him he was worth that and more!!! Will have him out to replace the faulty front door set TODAY. There's no way I'm able to give Carlos of Arias Lock and Key 10 stars, but hope this recommendation will make up for that. Thursday, May 10th I called this company to rekey my newly purchased home. He made an appt with me for Friday May 11 as they were unavailable which was perfectly understandable. I confirmed twice our appt they made between 11-12 as I had a dr appt and would need to rush back for this. I ended up arranging for someone to sit at my house in case I didn't make it back in time as I didn't want to miss or be late. I waited until 12:05 to call and text to inquire if they were still coming since it was passed time and I hadn't heard a word. I got no response. I called and text a couple HOURS later asking the same and for a courtesy response. Still not a word and waited the rest of the day. I really needed to rekey my home as several people in the past had keys and as safety precaution it was just common sense. It was too late and I had to go through the weekend before I could get another company. I also wanted to give Arias Lock & Key adequate time to contact me in case there was a legitimate excuse. So writing this on Monday May 14 after our Friday appt, I don't think I'm jumping the gun AND gave them fair cooling off period before writing this review. As of today, I've never heard a word from them even after my attempts at contacting them......NO SHOW, NO CALL, definitely NOT DEPENDABLE! read more
