After I tell them I am already using Acute no other options are presented making me believe Acuvue Oasys must be the best. But Dr Nguyen introduced me to Dailies contact lens. I tried them and my eyes stay feeling moist much longer than on Acuvue. I cant believe no other optometrist has even mentioned this product to me. These are more expensive lens but I dont mind since I dont wear it everyday. Dr Nguyen knows her stuff! She took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my annoying questions about eye drops, etc. So glad I found Dr Nguyen and great contact lens.

She has always taken care of me and has given great attention in my overall eye health. She is always very thorough, informative, patient and made sure any questions I had were addressed. I have had not so great experience with other eye doctors in the past. I had one that just brushed off my concerns, he even prescribed contacts that were outdated and were not good for my severe dry eyes. With Dr, Huang, she has introduced me to a variety of the most up to date contacts and has discussed many options and alternatives that fit best for my needs. She also has introduced me to the best kinds of eyedrops that have actually helped my eyes. I thought I couldn't wear contacts anymore due to my severe dry eyes, but since her advice and recommendations, I haven't had an issue with weeping irritated dry eyes anymore! And reading some other reviews on here, in my experience, not once have I had an issue with her staff in the front after all these years I have visited, but despite IF I ever did (which I haven't), I mostly care about what I'm getting from my provider for my eye health and she exceeds all expectations! You can easily tell she cares and has genuine compassion for what's best for you! 100%!

I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try for my annual exam this year. I'd been…read moredebating switching optometrists for a while, so I was encouraged when I saw the reviews. First, the staff is very friendly and professional. From the phone call to make the appointment to greeting me upon my arrival, I was impressed. The location is also bright and spacious. I saw Doctor Yu. He was so sweet. He was very thorough and even gave me a miniature biology lesson on my eyes. He explained everything, didn't rush through the exam, and put my nerves at ease. I was very impressed with his bedside manner. However, I was very uncomfortable when my eyes were dilated. Typically, I've received numbing drops to counter the stinging side effect from the dilation drops. I didn't receive that here. I felt like the doctor used a large amount of dilation drops and it was really painful. My eyes were pretty much dilated for the rest of the evening. They did supply some pretty cool little shades for my eye glasses to protect my eyes from the sun once I left. I also was disappointed they don't offer a vision field test during the routine exam. Finally, I was surprised that I was charged a sitting fee for my contact lenses. I questioned this since I've worn the same prescription for about a decade and they were even keeping me in the same brand of lens. I was told that the charge is only once a year. Yes, well, so is the exam. I didn't receive any additional service or benefit from this fee, it was just an additional charge. I'm not sure I'll return here for my next exam, which is a pity because there were some very big positives, but also some sizable negatives from my experience.

The staff is amazing--so knowledgeable, friendly, and always accommodating with scheduling. Their eyewear selection is great, and their equipment is super high-tech and up to date. This caused over a week of delay to get my glasses that I desperately needed to see. I called the VA and explained to them the unprofessionalism of this location and was referred to Vision Express Optometry where Dr. David Shin did an amazing job in assisting me. Not only was he capable of showing up for his patients; his staff are extremely well trained and know how to follow up with their patients. They gave me an immediate appointment and was able to get my glasses in a couple of days vs a couple of weeks! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!
