Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla
Rachel G.

Stay in order from Neighbors. The buffalo chicken quesadilla was excellent. The Brussels were flavor packed, needed a bit of a sauce. The burger was standard, straight down the line. The fries looked good, but did not travel well and were cold. Overall this makes me super excited to go in person.

Smoked wings

They are packed! We've tried coming here on a Friday before, but ended up leaving since it was super packed. Tried again during lunch hours on a weekend, and found a seat. You pretty much seat yourself. The place is huge! Lots of screens! For as busy as they were, the tech time was really good. I started off with their smoked wings. It was kinda dry to me. I also tried some of their Cubano with tots. The sandwich was a little too salty for me. I also tried the boro Philly. I didn't think it was bad. My favorite thing here were the fries.

The servers are friendly and they have a good variety of food options. It is seat yourself so it can be hard to find a seat during certain times. Plenty of tvs so there will always be something to watch.

Mac and cheese, blackened Atlantic salmon, grilled asparagus

Great atmosphere! Staff was great! Food was great! We had Mahi Mahi and Pretzel bites for appetizers. I had Salmon, asparagus, and macaroni and cheese. I usually like the smaller stalks of asparagus but these were huge so I was kind of scared to try but they were good. The salmon was ok, and the macaroni was great. I will definitely go back.

Cubano

The Velvet Room Speakeasy - Meatballs appetizer

The Velvet Room Speakeasy

What a fantastic gem hidden in historic downtown Murfreesboro. The curated drink offerings were…read moreadvertised as being premium, and they absolutely were. They meticulously obsess over every ingredient that goes into both the drinks as well as the food. They start with top-shelf spirits, and then add in the magic from their collection of house-made ingredients that elevate the entire experience. We will definitely be back.

This is such a unique and niche thing for Murfreesboro, it's hard to nail down an all-inclusive…read morereview. For starters, the location is down an alley way, hidden off the main area of the Square in the Boro. To get to the speakeasy, you have to find the door, use the phone, and answer a riddle to speak the 'password' to get in. Neat concept and adds to the fun of the overall experience. The cons: - A cover charge - and a healthy one, at that. - Every cocktail, small plate/appetizer, dish, dessert, etc. is on the very high end of price points, and that's even for a Nashville spot - not even considering this as a niche location in the burbs. - For the prices, exceptionally small portions/servings of the food options. We left paying over $150 for our evening and both my wife and I were still hungry... The pros: - Service was fantastic. Extremely friendly from the owner to the bartenders to the servers. No complaints there at all. - My wife took me for my 40th birthday, and they helped significantly make it a special celebration while we were there. A special dessert with "4-0" candles, a rousing musician-led, crowd-involved rendition of "happy birthday" was sung in my honor, and overall just a very enjoyable experience. - Atmosphere was fun and inviting without being too much/stuffy. - The interior of the speakeasy is opulent, small, and cozy, featuring enough room for probably no more than 20-25 people total. - The drinks were very, very good. Overpriced, sure - but at least they were well made and tasty. - The food was absolutely fantastic. Great flavors and seemingly fresh, quality ingredients - well prepared. Overall, a very neat, fun, well thought out experience and something to say we've done - BUT unfortunately with the cover charge, pricing of the individual drinks, food items, etc., it prices us out of frequent enjoyment. We would go with a small group for kicks, but will likely not return otherwise, which is a shame.
