Met up with a friend from out of state. She suggested this place since it was close to where she was staying. You order food and drinks at the bar, and the food is brought to your table. Minimal staff for a Wednesday night but everyone was friendly and service was quick. I ordered some fried pickles and a mocktail (Dirty Mercury, which is a dirty coconut coke). Everything was good! Not many meat-free options on the menu aside from fried items and a couple salads, so a warning for my fellow vegetarians. There were a few free parking spots under the awning for the covered patio, with other lots across the street. Decent amount of seating inside and the covered patio is huge! Found Neff on a GF app, this place did not disappoint! I saw they had onion rings ( I haven't had an onion ring in 5 years!) and decided we needed to stop while we were in town. I could not believe how delicious the onion rings were. Even my non GF husband loved them! We also ordered their fried mushrooms since I haven't had those in just as long, then we split chicken and waffles. Everything was so so good, I did a happy dance. The wait staff were so friendly and answered all my questions. I even asked what flour they used on the onion rings bc they were that good! The entire menu is GF, the owner has Celiac Disease as well. The restaurant is very cool, they have a large outdoor space that is covered so you're not out in the sun. I'm giving NEFF Brewing 5 stars for giving joy to my daughter. She learned about her food sensitivity over 2 months ago and hasn't had a beer or fried food since. After learning that Tulsa has a Brewery that is 100% gluten-free, she was walking on clouds all day. When she got up yesterday morning, she talked about how excited she was that she was going to get to go to an all gluten free brewery that night. The place was busy on a a Tuesday night. There were only 2 tables left. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was no table service. We ordered at the bar and they brought the food to our table. My daughter ordered boneless wings and fries, sweet potato waffle fries, and fried pickles. Dan got chicken and fries. I got fish and chips. The fish and chips was by far the best entree. I couldn't tell it was gluten free. It was high quality flaky fish cooked in a beer batter. Delicious. I asked for malt vinegar, but the server told me malt vinegar has gluten. At first I wondered why they couldn't just have it on hand for those of us who aren't sensitive to gluten, but I quickly realized that knowing there wasn't anything in the restaurant with gluten was comforting to the gluten sensitive customers like my daughter. I will gladly put a bottle of malt vinegar in my purse next time. I highly recommend the fish and chips. It's the best thing on the menu. NEFF is providing a valuable service to Tulsa. It gives people with gluten sensitivity a chance to return to the days when they could just go into a restaurant and order anything on the menu instead of having to ask what's gluten free. I sampled another beer, but was in the mood for something sweeter so chose the pride raspberry. It was delicious! For food, we got the Cobb salad (very large), fish and chips, and garlic parmesan chicken wings. We liked all of them, but the wings were heavy on sauce. Great place for a pint outside on the patio. Located downtown and even including a few covered spaces right in front of the brewery. Loved the large patio as we had a large group ready to enjoy a cold drink and some fried snacks. Fried pickles were good but the fried waffle cut sweet potato fries were even better! They have a variety of sauces to dip so that's a bonus as well. I highly recommend the Irish Vacation Stout. I love a perfect point of Guinness and there were a lot of similarities. I'd already picked up some of their beer for at home which I really liked, the Raspberry Pride, but I cold not WAIT to taste their food. And it did NOT disappoint! We got the fried chicken sando and the fish and chips and geez are these fries "bottomless" in that it was just more than I could possibly eat. I had an Apollo Blonde and Astronaut Cookies (a stout) and my partner had a hard cider from also gluten-free OK Cider Co. in Oklahoma City. With tax all that came to $46 before tip ($56 after, tip your bartenders people) so the value I thought was great. You go to the counter to order, which I also like, so I can get up and get more brews on demand! Overall a WONDERFUL spot with epic views of Tulsa. Came here to meet with friends and our first brewery here in Tulsa! And our experience? It's kind of odd with the weird with the weird transition of whether if it's right to wear a mask or not to wear a mask, but one thing is clear in Tulsa, is that COVID seems to have disappeared...and hopefully everyone is vaccinated. So, NEFF Brewing was pretty much on this same boat, the days where masks were required here doesn't seem any longer...but, I really appreciate that the staff are still wearing it. I pretty much wore my mask within the building, but outside when we were distanced from other folks, I felt safe enough to not have my mask on. The beer, let's talk about the beer. I enjoyed it here, we had a couple of beers specifically the blonde and the passion fruit that was on tap. I tried the other beers, and let's just say that it didn't vibe as much as these two beers. I did want to try the irish vacation which looks like a guinness, but I never got the chance as our party had plans. The first time I came here I wanted the fish and chips but ate too many sweet potato waffle fries and was full. The second time I got the fish and chips first and they are NOT GOOD!! The fish tasted freezer burned and dry and the breading was thin and immediately came off. Upgraded to the waffle sweet potato fries and they weren't as good as the first time so maybe it was just an off day but I will not be trying the fish and chips again. A surprise find while visiting Tulsa. As someone with celiac it was awesome to find a place offering a full menu and a full gluten free brewery. The service was great and all the food was solid. It was fun to have fried bar food without worrying about shared fryers or cross contamination. The beers and ciders were great. The IPAs stood out the most. Easy location with lots of nearby parking. I have been coming here since I moved here over a year ago, and at first I loved it, but things have definitely changed. Prices have gone up and the portions have gotten very very small. I always get the boneless honey sriracha wings and it used to be a full pound of wings for like $12. Today I got maybe 7 little bites for $15. And they don't come with any sort of side. Additionally the chicken sandwich went from a proper chicken sandwich to basically a chicken tender on a bun. Our server also didn't bring any silverware until a few minutes after our food came so we just sat and stared at our food. I really enjoy the food and often come to trivia on Tuesdays, but the lack of consistency makes me want to stop coming here honestly. read more

Meh. The nachos were good and although they were big enough to share (for two) they would have made a good small meal. The steak was mostly good but the last bit was super tough. Beers were good. IPAs, lagers, and a lot of stouts. I would not have known that they were all glutton free. Everything here is. I would return and try some different food. This is my updated review for this gluten free wonder of a restaurant. We've been coming here since they first opened their doors. Let's start with the people. The employees are VERY friendly. It doesn't matter if they are working behind the bar, bringing you your meal or cooking your food. They are helpful and so kind. Yes , I broke out the 'k' word. When you start going pretty regularly they remember you. You become Norm from Cheers. On to the food. Many of the items are fried, this is where I get my hamburger, fried chicken and fries and fish and chips fix. (The fries are old school steak style fries.)They are all super yum. Oh, whoa....I haven't talked about the queso. The queso is DIVINE. Just thinking about it makes my eyes roll back in my head. If you are a cheese fan of any kind you have got to try it. We recently discovered New Era Fine Fermentation Brewery in downtown next to the Boxyard. The microbrewery scene is exploding in Tulsa and this is definitely a great place to check out! They have a good selection of beers but the cool thing that makes them different is that they provide gluten-free products which would be great for patrons with gluten sensitivity. The beers still taste great, and there is a good selection for all kind of tastes. Getting a beer flight is a good way to taste four different beers. It comes on a very cool wooden board with the shape of the State of Oklahoma. The atmosphere is very lively at New Era and there is plenty of seating. The brewery also offers a variety of food item including Fish and Chips and street tacos. Guys I really wanted to love eating and drinking at Neff, but our experience was just not good and we were underwhelmed. We started off by ordering a flight because their menu said their flights were $10 on Fridays instead of the normal $12 (we came in Friday night). I had heard really good things about their fish and chips as well, so we were excited. We ordered the flight to share and were told they were out of two of the four drinks we wanted on the flight so we were given some recommendations for swapping (which is totally fine). We ordered their garlic and sage fries and the person taking the order asked another staff member if they were out of sage, and the staff member said "no it will be alright" which I tried not to view as a red flag. My husband ordered the honey sriracha wings, and I ordered the fish and chips. We were so excited to try their food after hearing great things. We were immediately handed our flight and headed to the table. It was in a really cool Oklahoma shaped board! Loved that touch. We then waited 40 minutes for our food to come out, which was totally unexpected. It all came out at the same time instead of us receiving the fries as an appetizer/barsnack (that's okay but was kinda sad). The food also looked really underwhelming which made me sad, because I love taking pictures of food and food tastes better when it looks better (to me). Our *garlic and sage fries* were $6 and were just French fries with no seasoning hardly at all, and especially no garlic or sage that we could see or taste. My fish and chips lacked flavor and seemed to have the same fries that we ordered as an appetizer. The fish did seem pretty fresh itself though. My husband said his wings were pretty good but not great. We also found out (not that it's that big of a deal, but added to the underwhelming experience) that we were charged $12 (full price) for the flight instead of the Friday special price of $10. Absolutely amazing! I'm from KC but was in Tulsa for the weekend. Tried a flight of Raspberry Pride, Appletoberfest, Cherry cider, and Crop Circles. They were all delicious but Raspberry Pride knocked it out of the park (or universe). It's a crisp, tart, delicious fruity beer. As someone who can't have gluten, finally getting to drink delicious craft beer again is the highlight of my whole weekend. I also got the beer battered mushrooms - still GF, but also vegan and they were amazing too. They came out super hot and crispy. The breading definitely didn't taste GF, so even non-GF people could enjoy them! The vegan ranch was a solid comparison to dairy ranch and just as creamy. We went to their grand opening day on Friday just after 7pm, and the moment we walked in, we saw how packed the place was! Every seat and table was just about taken. Some were enjoying the music coming from the live band playing. Some were enjoying the food options from their kitchen. Others were enjoying drinks and each other's company. We stood by the bar area for most of our stay and tried a flight of their gluten free beers #1-4 on their menu, followed by an 8oz glass of their limited release beers #5-6. By far our favorite was the limited release coconut stout, which blended a tasty mixture of flavors that made us wish they hadn't opened up their last keg already. They were also holding raffles for free prizes because it was their grand opening day. Although our numbers weren't called as the winners, we appreciated that they held these events for us to further enjoy our night. We also saw some board games in the corner that groups could play while they enjoyed their food and drinks, which is definitely a plus for us because we love playing board games. Apparently, they also hold paid tours of their taproom where guests can enjoy a flight of their gluten free beers at the end of the tour along with some giveaway merchandise. We would definitely come back again in the future to try the food that they offered.
