I actually love this place but just one bad comment I would say is that the "entree-like" dishes, like chole puri and pav bhaji, are not always consistent, meaning sometimes it's good and sometimes it's just okay. Sometimes too much oil sometimes perfect amount. All the other street items such as chaat and dahi puri are fantastic and delicious. I would give it 5 stars but just the inconsistency and taking a chance every time I go made me give it a 4 star! Definitely worth checking out though and trying on a regular basis though. read more

It's kind of annoying how people are complaining about the long wait times. They just opened! It's a new place with good food. If there was no wait, then something is clearly wrong. We've been eating here since before they were in their Canton location, and were still in the grocery store in Farmington Hills. We've been loyal customers from the beginning and happy that they expanded to this location which is so much closer to us. We live in Troy so when we got the urge, we'd trek to Canton and enjoy all the wonderful food they have to offer. Fast, great customer service and the flavors were very fresh. No line at lunch on a Monday and the staff was very patient in waiting for us to decide on their vast menu. Just didn't have a good time experience here. It was a weekday afternoon, very quiet and empty and you'd think there'd be no issue with getting quick service but it took really long to get anyone's attention to order. Even after I ordered and needed anything else I was pawned off to another employee who also didn't acknowledge me. When they did they were a bit rude. The guy taking my order was wearing a puffer wearing only the hood - the jacket was just hanging from his head. It seemed quite unprofessional. The menu is enormous. Given that this is a franchise I would have expected better descriptions of the food items as well. We got a Delhi special and a NeeHee's special and the Delhi special was good, and the NeeHee's special really wasn't good at all. The kachori chaat was just okay. The masala dosa was good. Food wise I compared it to Phulkari Punjabi Kitchen and found it sorely lacking. Service wise I really didn't care for it. read more

Been here twice, loved every dish I tried! There are so many options! They have an unique system for their line, you get a buzzer and order once your buzzer goes off, then wait until the buzzer goes off again to pick up your meal. The preparation for some meals was quick, but it depends what you order. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. I think this is the best Indian food I've ever tasted. My husband and I visited on a Friday night. Not much of a line and ample seating. First impression was great, the manager was fantastic at explaining the menu and options. He explained this was authentic Indian (as we soon found out). Everything is on the spicier side which I'm not a big fan of but he suggested a Lassis, mango flavored (similar to a smoothie) which complimented the food well. NeeHee's is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Michigan. I have loved their Schezuan rice, Bhel, Sec batata puri and sugarcane juice. They have so many varieties of vegan food. Its unreal! They have north indian, south indian, Gujarati, Chinese, street food, you name it, they have got it. The food tastes very good and is clean. Totally disappointing experience . Decided to try this place against a friend's advice that this joint is a hype. Food is overpriced but below average in quality and portion size. We were told the wait time would be 30 min to place an order plus 10 minutes to prepare the food. They will give you a pager and have you seated during this wait. We were fine with that expecting food will be worth the wait. We ordered Gobi Manchurian $9.##, Puri bhaji $7.## and Mysore masaladosa $9.## . We got Gobi Manchurian and Puri bhaji 10 minutes after the order. The portion size of Gobi was too small, approx 10-12 small gobi florets . There was too much vinegar in it. Puri was good but the bhaji was bland. Masala dosa came 20 min after the order, it was cold and not prepared to our order. I wonder why they made us to wait 20 min to give us this stale dosa. Again the masala and chutneys were bland. After spending $30 we 2 adults left with half empty stomach. Felt like a ripoff and definitely won't be back again... read more
