Chicken tikka Masala, egg biryani... my chutney on side (they need to add the chutneys!)
    Jackson C.

I was so hungry for Indian cuisine, I took my lunch to the parking lot. Red Chillies is full of timeless Indian flavors. Everything I expected from chicken tikka masala & egg biryani was there and then some! At medium plus, it was packed with juuust the right amount of spiciness--the point where where you suck in the air for relief buuuut the flavor is just so good that you won't stop eating it! I made myself stop, but know it's a lot of food for lunch so that's great for the next day. The only small request is tamarind/cilantro chutney! I need it so after calling, I knew to bring mine. I will definitely be going here for my Indian fix

South Indian food - a bit healthier and less oily than many North Indian restaurants. The fish fry was my favorite yet and the aviyal (sp?) was also one of my favorites! Nice staff. Unassuming location in a strip plaza beside a lingerie store. Have it prepared spicy! (I'm referring to the restaurant of course;)

Indian food like it should be and very warm service. Fantastic Malai kofta. Very close in taste to the one you'd find in India. We had parathas and rotis with it. The rotis are wonderful whole wheat breads and we liked them more than the parathas. We also had the Idli Manchurian which was very soft and tasty. The owner himself recommended our order and he was honest about their specialities. We will be back soon!

    Lamb kurma and butter chicken

My girlfriend and I really love this place after the first visit! The waitor is really nice and made us seem very welcomed in the restaurant. We ordered the buttered chicken and lamb kurma, and let me tell you, it was one of tastiest things I've ever tasted. Especially the buttered chicken, the creamy sauce was very tasty and we had a plate of rice to compliment it. The meat was dry and it was cooked nicely. The garic nan bread was ordinary, it almost reminded me of the bread sticks from a pizza place, yet it was still good while we dipped the bread into the creamy sauce. Would recommended going to this place for tasty Indian food.

Red chillies is a newer Indian Restaurant in the area. We decided to stop by for dinner here. The ambience is casual, service warm and food exceptional. We had chicken dum biryani, chicken kerala and chappati. We requested fresh cut onion and green chillies. They were provided very promptly. We also had mango lassi which was just the right amount of sweet. Chicken dum biryani stole the show. It is prepared every Friday evening fresh. This is their weekend specialty. It is an authentic flavorful preparation where meat, rice, nuts, pineapple and boiled egg are cooked simultaneously. The time for preparation is much longer than for usual biryani served at most other Indian restaurants. I have not tasted better dum biryani thusfar. You can immediately taste the authenticity. Definitely coming back. Must try!

    Poricha Kozhi and Paratha

Love this place. They offer variety of Kerala food. I got poricha kozhi and paratha. Love the paratha, it's so soft and fluffy compared to other indian restaurants. Customer service is also amazing.

This was my first time ordering carry-out. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and answered my menu questions. The order was ready when I arrived. Although no one was there, it is only carry-out (no dine-in) with the COVID pandemic going on. I'm familiar with Indian food and ordered chicken Tikka Marsala (spicy) and Shrimp Briyani (medium spice) to try some of each. The food was wonderful, authentic sauces and basmati rice was cooked perfectly. I would not pass this place up because it is in a plaza; the food makes it a stand alone, hands down. Be sure to ask for a menu; some of the menu pictures on Facebook are a previous version, so if you order by number, just make sure it matches up with the current menu. I can't wait to order again. Highly recommend to anyone! Five-stars!

This place is great! If you love deep flavor and spice Red Chillies hits the spot. If you don't like it too Spicy no problem the spice ranges from mild to hot, but personally the medium is just spicy enough not overkill. Try everything, you cannot go wrong. The quality and care that goes into this cuisine resonates on your taste buds. Peter is a great host and he cares about his guests it's just like being in his own home.

We were sat and offered drinks, then the waiter told us, the buffet is not ready I will let you know when you can go up. The food was out and they were filming it. 2-5 minutes, okay. 5-7min, pushing it, at 15min past opening time, with the food being out for the same time we were invited to eat. The food was okay, some of the chicken was dry. The Indian Chai was a nice touch but not flavorful. We must have been asked 12 times how we liked the food. The manager/owner? also came to our table and asked; we shared it was good and relayed the initial waiting experience, he said, sorry. These actions put advertising ahead of the customers sitting in your booths, its a choice and as previously stated, our choice will be to likely not return.

We agreed that this was the best Indian we've had in the area, by a mile. We ordered the meat samosas, paneer saag, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken biryani, garlic naan, garlic cheese naan, and mango lassi. For two, it was an obscene amount of food, but holy cow was it worth it (it all came out to ~$65). The samosas were crispy, hot, and delicious with excellent seasoning. When we added the mint chutney, it took it to a whole other level. The saag paneer was creamy and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was spicy, creamy, and delicious, easily the best I've ever had. When the spice started to get to our heads, the mango lassi cooled things off, it was super refreshing. Naan was top tier. We made fried rice and added a fried egg to the biryani this morning and it made an awesome breakfast. 10/10, we will be back as our regular Indian spot!

We ordered dinner portions of Pink Garlic Chicken along with Aloo Gobi. Pink Garlic Chicken - While the chicken tasted alright, more on the sweet side, it was served on an appetizer size plate, same size they use to serve their 2 samosa appetizer. We clarified with the waiter if the plate we received was the appetizer portion, which is also on the menu. He clarified it was the dinner portion he put in for our order. We finished it in less than three bites. Quite an expensive dish for $13.99 based on what you receive. Aloo gobi - we ordered the dinner portion and it was also initially served in a small appetizer size bowl with 90% potato and literally one spoonful of cauliflower. Our server was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen and it came back out in a larger serving dish with a normal amount to cauliflower. The taste of this dish was also ok, also on the sweeter side. We left hungry and ended up at another nearby restaurant to complete our dinner for the evening. I recommend asking what size portion you're receiving before finalizing your order to make sure you get enough food especially for the prices they charge.

Went here for the first time today and all I can say...WOW. If your'e like me and you're tired of the mediocre sports bars and refuse to go to the national chain joints that populate Hall Road, then you need to give Spice Valley a try....the food is outstanding!!! My dinner tonight was so good, I ordered another dish, carry out, to have for lunch tomorrow. That's how much I wanted to try more of their food. For this visit we started with Meat Samosa, they were outstanding. The filling was delicious and the outside was nice and crispy. They were great topped with the complimentary chutneys that were served. So far so good. For entrees, I had the Lamb Pasanda and my wife ordered the Malai Chicken. Both were wonderful. The lamb was fantastic, nice and tender. At other restaurants I've found the lamb to be either too tough or too fatty, neither was the case with Spice Valley. Every bite was perfect. The gravy it came with was wonderful, silky and smooth, had a perfect balance of heat from the spices and sweetness from the coconut that was a key component. It was so good, I wiped the bowl clean with the bread....can't wait to have it again. My wife enjoyed her dish as well, the portion was plentiful. It came out on a sizzling tray with delicious grilled onion and pepper. For a bread we chose paratha and I'm happy we did. It was the perfect balance of crispy on the surface and wonderfully chewy below. I've had too many Partha that are either all crisp no chew or all chew no crisp. Spice Valley's might be the best I've ever had. After our meal was done, we were offered samples of a couple of their desert options, rice pudding and mango lassi. Both were excellent. I'm generally not a big lassi fan but this one was terrific. Please everyone, get our there and give this restaurant a try. On top of the great food, there is a real sense of pride that you can feel from the guys running the place. The service was top notch. They were eager to hear how we liked their food and made sure that we didn't leave without a carry out menu, a coupon for our next visit and even a pen with their logo as a reminder to go back soon! I really hope the community shows up to support this business, we need more places like Spice Valley....I wish them the best of luck

The samosa is maybe a bit too heavy and doughy. The potato and peas are mashed inside. The cilantro chutney is good, spicy too. Butter chicken is tasty. The chick pea salad is just fresh and yummy. Dosa was okay, not loving the tomato or coconut chutneys so much. Sambar soup is good. The dal makhani and Chana was not for either of us. Makhani is super buttery and runny. The Chana has a very unexpected taste and look, the sauce it's cooked in is quite brown here. The dal tadka, korma and Gobi were just okay. Both lentils are super runny. The korma isn't too bad. Their version has tofu in it. Sauce is good. Not a lot of veggies to it. Gobi was crispy, but their chili sauce is not so good. My husband usually favors the Chana masala, but he wasn't fond of their version so much. Would skip the Chana, Gobi and the dal makhani and maybe even the dal tadka next time. Service here is good.

Keep seeing lots of folks picking up orders and double parking their cars in the driveway to come in and pick up their carry out orders. Ordered starter Gobi Manchurian, veggie samosa, 2 dal soup, Chana masala, Tarka daal, mushroom bhaji and tandoori chicken. $94.24 They gave us the crunchy thin Papadum. Be careful while eating that the seasoning on top doesn't flip up into your eyes, it did that to my husband. He flicked off the seasoning so it wouldn't do it again. The Papadum is good. There was a random empty water bottle at the table. Table top is peeling, needs a refinish. I would put the fly strip in a more discrete spot and not hang it in the vestibule behind the counter. The samosas are good, dough is nice and light, like a wonton and it's packed with potatoes, peas and corn, which is a bit odd. It's better with some chutney. The Gobi Manchurian tastes good, just not crispy at all. The lentil soup is scalding, it's good. I like the roasted garlic in the soup and added some lemon to it as well. The Chana masala is okay, they put potatoes in it as filler instead of more chick peas. Other than the potatoes, it's good. The butter chicken is rather sweet, it's still pretty good. I am glad the chicken chunks aren't too big in this dish. Not a fan when it seems like the pieces are half a breast of chicken. Mushrooms aren't too bad. Not special. The lentils are good. Their garlic naan tastes sweet, almost, it's decent. The tandoori chicken is good.
