A couple days later the technician called me alerting me my car was ready. They did a great job and the best part is they washed my car, inside and out! The main issue is it's been a year and a half. The truck is not my only vehicle meaning I don't drive that truck every day. I drove it but again not every day nonetheless why are the tires already bald and they seem like they're splitting like they're coming apart these are supposed to be brand new continental tires. They should not last only a year and a half and again the mileage put on the vehicle after the tires was minimal so I'm thinking where they real continental tires. They definitely look brand new when I got them, but were they truly continental tires? How do I know? Did anyone else ever experienced this?

Five-Star Review - East Coast Collision Auto Body Repair Center (Jersey City)…read more Unfortunately, my girlfriend recently damaged my car--a 2011 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 that I've owned and cherished for over 10 years. The damage wasn't major, but it was enough to require a body shop. I was extremely upset and, to be honest, very hesitant about trusting any repair shop. I had a few sleepless nights worrying that my car would never be the same again. Since I live in Jersey City, we drove the car (it was still drivable) to East Coast Collision, and from the moment we arrived, my anxiety started to ease. The first gentleman who assessed the vehicle--later I learned his name is Chris--was professional, calm, and thorough. The shop itself immediately impressed me: clean, well-lit, organized, and extremely professional. I'm 56 years old and have been around long enough to know when a business is legitimate. This place is the real deal. While sitting in the passenger seat, another gentleman came down the ramp, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally moved my car. I don't know his name, but he carried himself like an owner or senior leader--polite, confident, and clearly someone who takes pride in the business. The whole interaction felt respectful and reassuring. When my car was pulled inside the shop, I saw the interior--and honestly, I was blown away. The place was lit up like a stadium. You could see every detail. There were several high-end vehicles being repaired, and everything looked precise and professional. This was not one of those shady, insurance-shortcut shops. This was top-tier, legit work. They sat me down, explained the entire process, and even coordinated an Enterprise rental seamlessly. At that point, I felt confident leaving my "baby" in their care. About a week later, I got devastating news from the insurance company: my car was declared a total loss. I was crushed. It felt like losing a family member. From what looked like minor damage--a scrape, a busted light, a bumper--the car was suddenly gone. I was in disbelief and honestly depressed. When we returned to the shop, we spoke with Chris and Marissa Riccardi, who I later learned are siblings and part of the family that owns East Coast Collision. Marissa stepped right up, took charge, and patiently answered every question we had. She and Chris explained everything in detail and made thoughtful recommendations--never rushed, never dismissive. I was stubborn and emotional. I wasn't ready to let go of a car that had taken me everywhere--Florida, Virginia, Washington D.C., Vermont, Lake George, Pennsylvania, Boston, and countless trips throughout the tri-state area. That car was part of my life. Chris and Marissa showed genuine care and empathy. They helped me understand the situation and made an incredibly difficult transition much easier. They even allowed me time to remove my personal belongings, knowing how hard this was for me. Because of East Coast Collision, I can now move forward and eventually purchase my next vehicle--something I honestly couldn't imagine doing at first. I give East Coast Collision in Jersey City a five-star, five-diamond review without hesitation. Hats off to Chris, Marissa, that gentleman who greeted me out front, and the entire team--from top to bottom. Even the atmosphere and cleanliness spoke volumes. Thank you for your professionalism, compassion, and integrity. I will absolutely recommend East Coast Collision to anyone who asks. @Thatdominicanlife YouTube-Instagram-Tik Tok

East Coast was one of the places certified by GEICO and after reading reviews for some of the others, coming here was a no brainer. Happy to report that the reviews are all spot on. Most importantly, the car came back looking brand new and the pricing was more than fair. Needing bodywork sucks. Having to deal with shady and disreputable auto bodies makes it even worse, so save yourself the headache and just go here!

I had a very disappointing experience with Herbie Auto in Bayonne, NJ…read more On May 7th, I brought my car in for a wheel alignment. I spoke with a man there who quoted me $95. He asked when I needed the car back, and when I asked how long it would take, he told me it would be ready by 1:30 PM. We exchanged information, and I left the car there. Around 1:30 PM, I called to check if the car was ready, and he told me to give him another 20 minutes. I said okay and left my house shortly after to pick it up. When I arrived, he told me everything was good, I paid cash, and went home. The very next day, while driving to work on I-78, I noticed the car did not feel right. Over the next several days, it continued driving poorly. On Wednesday, May 13th, I took my car to Hudson Nissan for another wheel alignment because they use alignment sensors during inspection. I explained the recent work that had been done. During their inspection, they discovered that the front driver-side tie rod had been overheated to the point that the metal became brittle and damaged. At no point did Herbie Auto contact me to explain they were having difficulty performing the alignment or that additional repairs might be needed. After leaving Nissan, I went to my regular mechanic, who confirmed that the tie rods now need to be replaced before another alignment can even be performed. I understand that issues can happen during repairs, but the lack of communication and the damage caused to my vehicle is unacceptable. I trusted them with my car and now have to pay significantly more money to repair the damage and redo the alignment properly.

I thought the pricing was fair, so I agreed to the service. After waiting over 2.5 hours, I was shocked when my final bill came to $269. When I questioned the total, Herbie claimed the balancing charge was actually $30 per wheel, not the $10 per wheel he originally quoted me. When I pointed out the discrepancy, he became argumentative and insisted he never gave me the lower price. Only after I threatened to dispute the charge with my credit card company did he agree to refund the extra amount. This experience was extremely unprofessional and left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of. I strongly recommend that anyone doing business here get all quotes and pricing in writing before agreeing to any work.
