I'm reserving the 5th star until I take one of their regularly scheduled classes. I didn't even know until I saw this special event advertised that Bodhi had opened a new location. Years ago I used to be a regular at the downtown location, but the classes got so crowded that I eventually looked for other studios. According to a classmate of mine this morning, the classes at the new location are still pretty small since they just opened. Even though it is a bit of a haul for me to get out there, it might be worth it to take a more intimate class with some of the instructors that I loved from the original location. This studio also has a small boutique and cafe in the front and the studio itself is really nice and clean with a wall of windows. I did find it funny though as we talked about taking life slower and not getting caught up in the rat race of life that I was looking at the sign for Best Buy in the reflection of the mirror.

Every detail of this place is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I were married here in April 2024 and we seriously talk about this venue and all of its magic at least once a week since then. We wanted to have a small intimate gathering that had a very organic look. In the spring, this place really comes to life, the birds, the butterflies, the way the light shines through the windows in La Casa De Joy, everything felt like a fairytale. The venue is tucked away in a sweet lakeside neighborhood as well so the drive there in the spring is country roads lined with wildflowers and bluebonnets which was an added plus. We rented the entire venue and had some guests stay in the other houses on the property while we stayed in La Casa De Joy and everyone absolutely loved it. We heard nothing but positive things from every guest. Such a unique venue. Not to mention, Travis, the property manager was an absolute delight to work with. Really so so kind and understanding of our wants and needs and was truly there to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back to relive our wedding day each year with a stay at La Casa De Joy. Truly such a gem of an experience. My highest recommendations to anyone looking to relax, reconnect, breathe and just be present. Go to this place!!

The owners are welcoming and appreciative, the pricing is great, the studio is brand new and so clean! The best of all was the infrared heat rather than a traditional heater. It was so much more comfortable with the infrared and has more benefits! I've had inflamed connective tissue in my shoulder for a month. I had several treatments: acupuncture, massage, and chiropractic visits. All helped but the Bikram session actually relieved the pain yesterday and I still feel great! I also want to mention the floor-I'm not sure what the material is but it feels really clean and unique. I highly recommend this studio!
