I'm a runner/jogger or traditional gym kind of girl. However, I certainly appreciate the value in these core-focused workouts. If you don't want to just run on a treadmill for 30 minutes to an hour and then still be disappointed in how your body looks- come try a class! It's under new ownership/management. Jennifer and her team of instructors are world class! I was fortunate to be able to attend their grand reopening party last Saturday. I met some of the instructors for the first time and other clients that raved about the results they got from Pure Barre. All of them were friendly, fit, trim, healthy individuals. That says a lot. You might have to circle a bit to find parking, but it's not bad at all considering how many shops and businesses are right next door. If you happen to have kiddos joining you, the studio offers to watch them in a designated indoor play space while you get your barre on (schedule permitting). Compared to other barre3 studios that I've tried in the past, the classes at this location feel like a much better workout. The movements are more comprehensive, more challenging, and will definitely work you out no matter your fitness level. I love the variety of hand weights and resistance bands that are used, and how every exercise can be modified to meet your body's needs. I take classes more frequently with Chris and Sheila, and both ladies are wonderful. My only wish is that they had more classes earlier and later in the day!

After getting things straight with the chiro I decided to try bikram yoga to maintain my neck and spine recovery. I no longer have to visit my chiro for maintenance sessions and that is all due to bikram yoga. If I neglect to attend class I can feel the mild pain and limited range of motion return to my neck. The studio is very clean and the staff are welcoming. They know everyone by name and greet each person when they walk in. The instructors are professional and friendly. It is apparent that they have been leading bikram yoga classes for many years. They know exactly what to say and how hard to push the class.
