Stacy came highly recommended to me by several well respected Austin yoga teachers. As soon as I met Stacy and began to learn from her I knew that I'd struck the jackpot. She is a professional who is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about yoga, pregnancy, birth, anatomy, fascia, herbs, supporting mothers and is deeply involved in the Austin birthing community. Besides her wealth of knowledge it was Stacy's calm, steady demeanor, easy laugh and smile, and sense of humor that made me and the other women in the training feel so supported and empowered to become prenatal yoga teachers ourselves. In 2015 when I became pregnant with my second child I immediately knew I wanted Stacy to be my doula and I'm thankful she accepted. She held space for my desires, my fears, and my excitement about my upcoming birth. She listened and supported me and my husband throughout my pregnancy and then supported me physically and emotionally throughout my labor, delivery and then my postpartum period. With her support, I had my healthy baby AND the natural home birth I'd so wanted and worked towards. She was integral to the whole process. I was fortunate enough to get massages and Rebozo work from Stacy during my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. She worked intelligently and intuitively on my body and has a gift for relieving sore muscles and opening the body to relaxation. I also took her Restorative Yoga classes during my pregnancy and she skillfully modified the poses for me and gave me the gift of relaxation and rest when I most needed it. Everything Stacy touches is gold. She helped me feel empowered in my own body, as a mother and as a yoga teacher. I am eternally in gratitude and awe of her skills, knowledge, gifts and most of all the space she held for me during such a sacred time in my life.
