Although we didn't try any food to comment on, we only had drinks as we took a break from the slots. Nectar inside Seminole Casino has a Live Band. We stopped by on a Friday night to grab a couple of cocktails and a break from the slot machines. We enjoyed the Live Band that seemed to be a favorite for the more matured. The place was not so busy and only a couple of people out there dancing. Why do I keep getting served Moscow Mules in a rocks glass?? For $14?? A rocks glass is for liquor ON THE ROCKS, not a mixed cocktail. Once you fill a rocks glass with ice, lime juice, and ginger beer, there is not much room left for actual alcohol. A rocks glass is NOT an appropriate way to serve a Moscow Mule. If you don't have the proper glassware, the least you could do is serve it in a tall glass. read more

The place has great bands on the weekends and there is no cover charge. I'm not into gambling much, but it's still a great place to entertain yourself. I went Friday with a group of girlfriends. Two of my friends gambled for most of the time, while 3 of us just watched the band. The music was very, very loud, so if you want to talk, you have to have a loud voice and the ability to read lips! It is also very, very smokey. My clothes smelled like a cigarette ashtray when I came home. There were many people who seemed to be intoxicated, like the group of girls next to us who kept downing shots and buying shots for the band members. What can I say, it's rock n roll. I didn't drink any alcohol and ordered a soft-drink, which surprisingly was complementary. So for me, it was an inexpensive, fun night. read more

Good option for a drink and a bite at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino. Cool vibe with a live Funk Band on the weekends. Drinks are reasonably priced too for a night out. $4-$5 for a beer. I didn't order any food but the food around me looked very good. Only gourmet pizza and sushi are one the menu. Despite that, the menu contains many variations of the two items. We sat in comfy couches in the back while checking out the Funk Band around 10pm. As the casino is open 24 hrs, Nectar Lounge stays open till the wee hours as well. The crowd was 50+ and there was not much of a dance floor if any. Instead, a nice spot to just chill for an hour or so. Serving as a slot/gambling break, most of the restaurants and bars in this casino are for and frequented by the casino goers. A chill vibe and totally different from the Hard Rock night scene. read more

I was given the run around for 5 days, told by countless people that "X person will be on the line in a moment" or "X supervisor will call you back in 2 minutes" without ever having a staff member, manager, or supervisor EVER reach out or speak to me. The end result has been... nothing. Clearly this business is not in the business of customer care. I'll certainly never be back. Go to the deli. Great food. Huge proportions and have the absolute BEST Matso Ball soup in town! I go there just for their soup. They have lots to do. Expanded the casino area and added a lot of new slot machines. They have good bands in the lounge and also have great shows. I believe the Village People are going to be there for NY Eve. Went to see Van Halen tribute band at this lounge. Been there once before to see same band and experience was so so. This past Sat, left me shaking my head. Band was great. Service sucked! The place is packed with a limited menu. I was lucky enough to get a seat because of a friend that got there two hours before. I ordered a beer and it took 30 min to get it. Every beer took forever. Then my party and I ordered a pizza and sliders. One hour later, the server looked at me strangely when I asked her where the food was. Turns out, she never put the order in. Duh! The simple problem is, they are way understaffed. I think I saw just 2-3 servers and two bartenders and hundreds of people. With the size crowd this band draws, staff the friggin' lounge. Any manager with half of brain would know that. Then the kicker. The band finishes the last song and I suddenly get my check. I never asked for it. I was planning on having another beer but the server had other intentions. Plus she took it upon herself to run the credit card that I had to give her to start a tab. Even after telling her early on, I was going to pay cash, she still ran the card. Brainless. So she had to cancel it out and I finally paid cash. The last beer I wanted, well, i had this elsewhere. This is not a bad lounge with great music, the problem simply comes down to management and service. Both are terrible. What a disappointment I was so excited when I saw the sushi sign thinking I could get some fantastic sushi while I took a break from the machine to my surprise Michael W our bartender informed us that all they were serving tonight was pizza we kindly declined maybe I'll give nectar another try at a later date. The location for sunset grill was not present so I'm just going to enter that review on here because it is also part of the casino and it had a full menu. We ordered a pound of hot wings and sweet potato fries along with Samuel Adams cold snap and a crown royal. I like to gamble, and I don't mind losing at the casino. I was only down $70 tonight, so I mean it sincerely when I say Casino Creek earned three stars, losses aside. When I first pulled up I was impressed with the facility. It's nicely kept, and the fountain out front looks lovely. When you first walk in there are a few nice eateries, and there is a second level I did not check out. Don't get me wrong, it was no NY, NY but I was very pleased. We went to get rewards cards, and the newly modeled Player's Club blew us away. The service was friendly, the process was mostly automated on simple kiosks and I got a $10 slot play as a reward for signing up. We scoped out the games and played a few slots. The lowest minimum blackjack table we found was $15 - not ideal for people in our tax bracket but still totally doable. Our dealer was spunky and helpful, as was her relief dealer who came about 15 minutes later. After about 30 minutes of blackjack, they announced that the table was bumping up to $20 minimum - no grandfather rule (which is where newcomers to the table pay the new minimum, but those who sat down at $15 continue to play that minimum until they get up). I think the lack of grandfathering is tacky, but we dealt with it. (Get it??...dealt with it!) A cocktail waitress passed by so we ordered a Malibu and Diet and a Gin and Tonic. She rang us up for $12. This was the first time I have been charged for a drink at the casino, so I was caught off guard. I simply cancelled the drink, but again this felt like somewhere the casino skimped and we paid the price. Overall, nice casino with great service from staff and dealers. However, the extra costs of drinks and table stakes knocks it down to three stars. read more

What used to be a great place to go for rock and fun music is now playing elevator music on a Saturday night (July 13,2019)... the food menu is missing enough bold items as well! I like this place. It has the feel of an upscale neighborhood bar...with live music. Service has always been good, bands that play range from okay to pretty darn good. If looking for a bite to eat, the offerings are limited (sushi and pizza). One of them spilled beer on the floor and did not give a crap to clean it up and along comes a lady and fell, not apologetic at all. My husband and I had to get our own drinks because the waitress would not even look our way. The manager ended up giving us two drinks on the house and still she would not serve us. I love sushi and I love the coconut creek casino so I thought I hit pay dirt when I saw Nectar at the casino. I was impressed by the upscale feeling as I walked in but that feeling was quickly changed by the somewhat disinterested server. I saw several things on the menu I thought I would love. I ordered 3 items. Tuna tataki salad, Mexican roll and spicy tuna roll. Thank goodness there was plenty of pickled ginger! I needed it to cleanse away the bad taste! I was taken aback by the way the tuna looked and thought I was given salmon by mistake. I mentioned this to the server and while she couldn't be bothered to stop, she said believe me it's tuna without losing her stride. I decided to brave it and tried a piece which, I quickly spit out. I didn't bother to hide it in a napkin. I put the partially chewed piece of fish back on the plate. It was so disgusting. I was sure the server would ask what was wrong when she looked at it several times as she quickly passed my table, but she never did. The Mexican roll was edible but flavorless and the spicy tuna was chewy but again it was at least edible. In all I was very disappointed. Needless to say I will never eat at Nectar again and I am hesitant to try the other restaurants there. read more
