I also tried the mojo pork tacos with rice and beans. It comes with three tacos and a mix of toppings as well as fresh lime on the side. I thought the tacos were fantastic and flavorful. Ambiance is great from sporty to listening to great bands. Over 50% tiki bar. Only thing we were asked to leave a two high top because we were not ordering food. The high top were near the band stage. We could have ordered multiples drinks apps/side. Someone could ordered an entree and water and our bill and tip would have been better. Took my family out to eat here and our experience was very questionable... First we asked for Jessica and was told her was off and that would still be in great hands. The server took out orders on an iPad and it looked like she didn't really know how to use. We order drinks and food all at once. We didn't receive half our drinks thinking maybe the bar was busy and that she didn't want the other cocktails to get too watered down. The food came out still missing a cocktail. When the tall supervisor came to drop off our food the server got one of our orders completely wrong even though she ring it in on the iPad as we ordered. Very disappointing that my sister had to wait an extra 10mins for food she already ordered. Still missing a cocktail when the supervisor came back with the correct meal I mentioned my missing drink and she got it for me right away. I went with my dad for an enjoyable lunch. Being a weekday and lunchtime they were not busy. We each had a burger or cheeseburger with fries. The burgers were cooked perfectly and are topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle and sunset sauce( seasoned mayo). The buns are pink inside this month for breast cancer awareness. Last night my friend and I both got wine, and both were in the mood for burgers. She got the standard burger and said it was really good. There are live table games, video poker and slot machines in a tropical, non smoking setting and a nice escape from being outdoors. The menu and atmosphere is a beachy type setting and can be fun. Don't expect a five star dining experience. If you want that, go inside and eat at NYY Steakouse. Also, those who review and do nothing but complain, remember, you're the one in charge and the one paying. I think they must be under new management and may have a new chef. We went a few days ago for dinner and it was absolutely horrible. We ordered the ultimate nachos. It barely had anything on it and the cheese was cold. Imagine eating cold chips and cold cheese on ultimate nachos, which is suppose to be hot. The waitress said she doesn't know, this is how they serve it. Obviously, she didn't care as well. We had wings, and they were good. My cousin and I visited the Sunset Grill on 6/15/23 and I ordered the spinach artichoke dip that was served with stale tortilla chips. Our waitress, Surelly, insisted on making this situation right and having some fresh ones made. I was disappointed by this and wanted to just cancel my order but I reluctantly agreed to send them back. Let me tell you about my 1st (and last) experience at the Sunset grill. Tonight some friends of ours invited us to a place they frequent 2-3 times a week. They had nothing but good things to say about this place. From food, live music, employees everything. Now I have been to the casino before many times for concerts etc. But never to the Sunset Grill. Tonight there were 6 of us and considering the amount of people you can imagine the LARGE bill associated with it. Appetizers, food and drinks. Specifically the drink needs to be brought up. One ordered a beer (yuenling) I ordered a bucket of beers (4 large caronas) one ordered a carona beer, one ordered a rum&diet one ordered vodka & ginger ale and the last ordered Bud light. Please pay attention to the amount of beer and liquor each ordered. Amongst the meal we consumed our drinks and ordered others one had 3 beers 1 had 3 rum& diets one had 2 vodka ginger one had 2 beers and I ordered a second bucket of beers totaling 8 larger caronas. The manager Alisha in the middle of this all comes up to tell the one drinking Rum& diet the bar rule is 3 drinks so he is cut off. The friends who are regulars went to their favorite bartender and got him another drink.. I mean 3 drinks per bar right ( a rule they have never herd of before..and they are there A LOT) now I must point out sure it was busy it's Saturday night. But at the end of the day 3 drinks for 1 and 8 beers for me. The moment never dawned on me that why can't he have more than 3 but I can have 8 we were not loud, we were not disruptive, we were not disrespectful we kept to ourselves and our friendly conversation. No one said anything. Then one of our friends decided to pay the bill. And of course once the very large bill was paid the Sunset Grill decided they had a problem. And called Ryan the Casio. Security to escort us off the property and ban us from the property for HAVING TOO MANY DRINKS now at this point I had not finished my 2nd bucket of beers and I picked up the 2 in opened beers and while having them in my hand tried to explain the absurdness of this so called rule. Now if we were being disrespectful disruptive or whatever I get it. But we were not we were just enjoying the music with friends. Even though we pointed out the inconsistent rule 3 drinks for one and 8 for the other and how the 3 was the problem they still stood their ground and escorted us out. Something they WOULDN'T have done had we not paid the bill. This is ABSOLUTELY 100% THE WORST I have ever been treated at any venue in my entire life And the world needs to know it.
