Dr. Alan Tompson is not your typical chiropractor. He utilizes so many different healing modalities to customize treatment based on your specific, energetic, and structural needs. I have been going to Neck Back and Beyond for over a year now not only for routine adjustments but for acute muscle injuries due to crossfit and yoga. My traditional primary care doctor urged me to take muscle relaxers and pain killers to treat my chronically strained hamstring. Not wanting to be medicated since I can't tolerate the side effects, I see Dr. Thompson on a regular basis and my pain is relieved - every single time. I don't know how he does it but he usually figures out the root of where my pain is coming from as opposed to just masking the pain and treating my symptoms. This allows me to continue working out and exercising on a regular basis without having to break my training schedule. I recently was able to run a half-marathon!
The office also has a really inviting atmosphere. The smell of essential oils and soft music always has a calming effect as well as the welcoming and friendly staff. Allison, in particular, is always fun to chat with and her reminder phone calls before your appointment are a great help since my schedule is so hectic. The last time I had a visit, I was offered some fresh Kombucha to try while I waited and it was delicious! I also buy my vitamins and supplements there as they carry a large assortment of high quality/potency products. There are also tons of workshops, classes, and events going on held by the other practitioners (nutritionists, massage therapist, reiki, biofeedback, acupuncturist, and several more) which all seem to complement each other.
Whatever you are looking for on your path to wellness...you can definitely find at Neck Back and Beyond. I highly recommend it not only for their services and highly trained practitioners but as a place to learn and take ownership of your own health! read more
