That practitioner has repetitively shown incompetence and a lack of professionalism that don't even deserve 1 star. He let me untreated without asking asking from me any XRays after my car accident and sent my insurance wrong diagnosis. When I left a review (3 stars) on Google, he used the same website to protect his butt but never tried to contact me. Went in with a list of issues & a lost of injuries & Dr. Bruno fixed them all! I have an issue with my left hip shifting up, he got it back aligned. I have an issue with my left knee locking, he got it back aligned. I'm so grateful, the hip shift was effecting my day to day activities and now I know I can just pop in, get it fixed whenever it's bothering me. With more visits I'm sure the issue will subside. I've been going to Dr. Bruno for over 10 years. I've been to many different chiropractors and he's by far the best one. Adjusts your back, and he makes dietary recommendations and home remedies beyond physical adjustments to help with long term healing. He's always trying to further educate himself on new theories and techniques (such as acupressure and acupuncture)...and he's cool enough to have a beer with you if you run into him out and about (which I have). Bruno is absolutely amazing! I am a fight attendant and tweaked a muscle somehow during work. I was out of the country and couldn't sleep due to the pain. I had a shooting/tingling sensation all down my arm and a massive migraine all stemming from my neck. On top of all of this, it was a holiday weekend in the states and knew it would be close to impossible to schedule something but I was desperate. I sent out emails to 5 chiropractors in the area and Bruno was the only to respond. He stopped doing his yard work as soon as my plane landed to come in on a holiday weekend just to adjust me! Dr. Bruno is amazing and totally understands how to make you feel better. Not just in the back but other areas like hands, feet, elbows, etc. He understands that everything is interconnected. He understands if you are misaligned and sees and feels it. He is not pushy and will only recommend what you need for treatment. He will not try to talk you into a 'plan' but will if you ask. You will actually feel results in the first treatment. What he did for me (to help you perhaps understand what he can do for you): I went there with a horrible lower back pain, shoulder pain and issues in my sciatic nerve which was very uncomfortable and made it so that some mornings I had to walk down like an old man and I an not! He made my back feel better on the first visit and relieved the sciatic. I actually hurt it again overdoing it but it essentially bounced back pretty well to hold out for the next appointment. Wait...there's more! I also fell climbing into a bathtub a few weeks and smashed my elbow on the soap dish so my elbows and wrist were all messed up. He made them feel better as well. I also had bad neck pain and he fixed that. I notice that he does more than most doctors with the neck and gets so much movement. This Dr. is awesome. I will be working with him going forward as long as I am in VA and have been recommending him to friends and colleagues. He takes most insurance which is a plus and his office will work with the insurance company to find out your deductible and not dump it back on you. I have been seeing Dr Bruno for years and he always gets me back to normal in a few visits. I recently injured my shoulder while snowboarding and was not able to lift my arm above horizontal out to the side. Dr. Bruno knows his art! He is quick and accurate with his diagnosis and reasonably priced. He helped me with benign vertigo (BPPV) exercises with the detail I needed to totally solve the issues. Chris Bruno runs a fantastic shop. No appointments needed, which is wonderful as it's hard to anticipate when you might need adjustments. We went in during open hours last Saturday (myself, mom, and two sisters), waited maybe about 10 minutes while he finished up with those ahead of us, and were in and out in 15 minutes. I am a hairstylist and I am constantly standing and holding my body in weird positions to accommodate my guests and their hair needs. At the spa where I work I had complained of back pain over and over and EVERY time a different coworker would tell me I needed to go to dr Bruno. I had been putting it off for while until I got to the point of excruciating pain and my shoulder locked up.. I called him and he was very flexible to fit me in and I am so thankful he did! I went for a few appointments several days in a row (because of how severe my pain was) and I was better in no time! He knew exactly what muscles and bones to adjust and in minutes after my first appointment I was able to move my shoulder again. (I literally could not move or even drive myself to his office, I almost went to the ER) I can't tell you how many stellar reviews I had heard about him from all of my coworkers, and I was not at all disappointed when I finally had his help. This particular situation was awhile ago, and I had meant to write a review right after, but there's no time like the present. If I didn't live so far away I would surely visit more regularly, because even without insurance, it is a steal for pain relief. This was my first visit with a chiropractor and I was skeptical. Chris Bruno was so highly recommended so I gave it a try. Within 3 days and 2 visits, I was pain free. If I had gone to my general practitioner, it would've taken a couple of days to get in, and he probably would've had me get an x-Ray.
