I provided my attorney information to the office and was under the impression that they were already in contact but the later find there was no affiliation. My trust was completely lost. I've been going to the correct practice which has a similar name and I've felt 1000% better with only 4 visits after being in terrible pain and trouble walking. last visit to Active Family Wellness I expressed that I was in pain and I mentioned to the office manager that I was in too much pain and I wanted to skip the tense pressure before the adjustment and I was told "You have to do it". which was so painful it brought me to tears and I didn't feel any better. Additional I was made to sign paperwork agreeing to pay a detailed breakdown of the when I have health insurance which I was completely caught of guard by. How can I know what the projected cost be for medical treatment? What ICD coding would be used for long term treatment? I don't appreciate being sold this "fallacy" of care knowing that I wasn't the first patient this happened to. Disappointed.

For the past few weeks I've been dealing with intense neck and shoulder pain. Like literally, natural childbirth was easier than this. Desperate, I reached out to a few trusted friends for advice and Dr. Perron was their top recommendation. One thing to note -- I've never been to a chiropractor before and I have a bunch of family of medical background who are highly skeptical of chiropractors but I was desperate. One trip in and my whole mind was completely changed. I was taken in by Lateicha and Dr. Azizi who took the time to explain the entire process (they use the activator method which is a lot more gentle and precise than manual adjustment) and what was causing my pain. When it came to the adjustment it took ten minutes and I literally felt better within seconds. I was being adjusted the same time as another new patient and when we both walked to our cars we talked in amazement about how much better we immediately felt. Appointments are easy to make and while they are out of network with insurance they handle the whole process for you. I've been back twice and while I'm not fully there yet (I am guessing it's going to take more than a few trips to fix years of bad posture and habits!) at least I am not in gripping pain every moment of the day. It is not easy for me to get out to Reston ... at all... but I'll definitely be back! Jason is my main provider, and I couldn't be happier with him! He is very good at understanding & evaluating my spinal issues and tailoring the adjustments based on my needs. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions and never tries to push any products/devices/supplements on me. He's very knowledgeable, honest, and never hesitates to look look into things for you if needed. And, to top it all off, he's a wonderful conversationalist and an overall great guy. I haven't worked with Rich as often, but from what I've experienced & seen, he is also a great provider. His style is more "sudden" than Jason's...as in he puts a lot of quick power behind it. While it isn't ideal for me, I know it can be effective for others. Rich is also a good conversationalist and will always make you feel welcome. The clinic is always clean and welcoming. The staff works hard to accommodate your schedule and to squeeze you in last minute when needed. Their cash price is fair and competitive. One thing to note: the office is on the second floor, so you will have to go up two small flights of stairs to access it.
