Jay Fontes did a great job and was involved from the beginning - he reviewed the scope and estimate with me in detail and made a few suggestions to make the project better. It was important to me that he would also do the work rather than a potential disconnect between the person doing the estimate and another person doing the work. Jay and his assistant Nate were very professional and focused on their work, friendly and communicated well to make sure that things were placed where we wanted. Jonathan was very thorough at looking at the problem in my basement, which needed new wall outlets. It had original wiring, but the previous owner did some of his own work... Jonathan explain what he could do, what type of outlets were required since it was an unfinished basement and got the job done. Afterwards, he explained to me what he did and also told me about some things he found that I might want to consider for the future to get upgraded one project at a time. He was very professional, knowledgable and never demeaning. He also made sure he never got my rugs or floors dirty from walking in the basement or outside. Had a serious electrical issue in our home. Called Mister Sparky and Chris C responded. Chris was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to assist us with this problem. Due to the issue being caused by a problem with the electrical service coming into our home, Chris had to go above and beyond the normal service call, researching the various solutions to the problem and making return service calls. Jonathan came out to give us an estimate on some electrical work and mentioned he could do a diagnostic while he was here. He managed to get a complete understanding of what was going on in our house with old wiring, advise on how to update it and also fixed my front lights so that they now work. From the moment Jay first arrived in our house, we had exceptional service!! It turned out to be a pretty big job that included three days of work. Mister Sparky was excellent. Chris managed the project. Jay did a great job. He had a colleague with him, but unfortunately I don't remember his name -sorry. I had my service panel upgraded from 100A to 200A, and had everything replaced outside the house (meter box, cables, and grounds). This was necessary as I am having solar panels installed and was informed my house needed to be brought up to present day code. it looks great! they marked all the breakers again like it used to be. After a small but frightening electrical fire we were put in contact with Mr. Sparky. Less than a half hour later Jay Fontes was at our door and immediately got to work. Mister Sparky was great! We had an odd problem in our house where we lost power in one room, but none of the breakers were tripped. Jay, our service pro, was able to come out the morning that I called. Hespent hours the first day trying to diagnose the problem, and came back the following day with assistance. Together, they were able to find the problem--a faulty outlet outside of the house! Despite the 6+ man-hours necessary to figure this out, they still only charged only the flat fee. read more

He looked at the problem and was ablet to explain the options for repairing the fixture which had been destroyed by a leak. He went and got a new fixture, returned in a timely fashiion, completed the installation and did a fabulous job cleaming uo and removing all the debris. Jon performed the work in less time than originally stated and I was very pleased with the end results. Mr. Edward is very professional. Provided a lot of valuable electrical knowledge and experience to me. Keep his working environment super clean and tidy. I don't know about the regular price for a oven range outlet. But I was charged $273 for it. Jay Fontes did a safety audit for us and found a problem with our electric panel. He returned promptly 2 days later to fix the problem. He was courteous, honest and left the area very clean. Do not waste your time with Mr. Sparky. Ed was nice, but not very helpful. He seemed much more interested in referring to his laminated pricing sheet than in fixing any electrical problems. The $350 I spent on Mister Sparky, with zero benefit, was a complete waste of money, unfortunately. read more
