First class here and the instructor was great! She explained things nicely, clearly and had a very nice soothing voice in class. We worked on legs and glutes. It was very good workout that was slow and steady but in a positive way to help build strength in your body. Spacious studio and definitely had me breaking a sweat! This is the most spacious studio I've been to in OC. It was very clean and I enjoyed the large mirrors. I've been taking Pilates classes with Noelle for many years, and I truly can't imagine training with anyone else. She is incredibly kind, patient, positive, and welcoming to people of all experience levels. What really sets Noelle apart is how attentive she is--she gives thoughtful, hands-on corrections to make sure everyone is using the correct muscles, which makes a huge difference in preventing injury and improving technique. She seems to have a really good sense of knowing what each client needs in order to become stronger. I've seen her work with multiple people experiencing injuries and she seems to understand and adapt to their particular issues. She understands my personal challenges and has tailored her guidance to support my growth, even helping me become a stronger, more aware dancer. I took a free (newcomers) Reformer Pilates class here and it was great! The class was taught by Effie Paek and her class was fun and she was helpful with body positioning/completing the moves. This was my first experience with Reformer Pilates and it was a great experience. This studio is clean and they have us wipe down the equipment after every use. I also find that pricing was fair for the 50-minute session. Parking in this parking lot can be hard to find during busy times, so be aware of that issue if you are running late to class. read more

Taylor was the best Pilates instructor I've ever had. I was walked through exercises that challenged me in the perfect sweet spot where I found myself shaking from the intensity and difficulty of the exercise. It was such an excellent workout! The whole class was walked through the different reformer exercises clearly. If any needed help, help was provided. I attended the 6 am class, and it set such a bright tone for the rest of the day. I'm an avid cyclist, and I recently took up Pilates for cross training 3 months ago; I've tried at least 10-12+ studios trying to find what will be my "home studio," and I think I found it with Neaumix. The Northwood and Von Karman locations are under the same owner, and I love that I can use my passes at either location AND book up to entire month in advance; I'd give them more stars if I could, as that's truly rare among Pilates studios with 1-2 weeks being the norm. Parking is super accessible at both, and the studio size is perfection and capped at 9. I've tried different studios that cram 15+ reformers in a room, and there is simply no way for an instructor to be diligent in checking the form of that many people at any given time. Some studios sacrifice quality for quantity - not here at Neaumix though! I appreciate the classes at both Irvine location being a tad longer at 50 minutes, instead of 45 which is common at other studios (including other locations in the franchise). 5 minutes may not seem like a lot, but you can do at least 2 additional movements in that time period to maximize your workout and target additional muscle groups. I have genuinely enjoyed class with each instructor so far. Mariana (Von Karman) and Emily (Northwood) are especially top notch for their incredible attention to form and wonderful cueing. I also enjoy the movements in their classes, as I find them more dynamic, often engaging multiple muscle groups simultaneously to get an efficient, engaging work out. I consider myself fit and in great shape, but I leave each class humbled and sweaty. Today, I had a glitch with their booking platform where it wasn't deducting my passes properly, essentially giving me extra classes. Not wanting to abuse the system and take advantage of the error, I called the owner to report it in case it was a wider issue. John was so nice and appreciated me raising it to his attention; he even gave me a complimentary pass, which was truly too kind considering that they already give each client one free class. Can't recommend Neaumix enough, especially Northwood and Von Karman. read more

I have been a fan of Neaumix Fit since their Von Karman location. Congratulations to Becky and the Neaumix Fit team for a successful expansion. Personally for me I am glad there will be more openings and times for me to pick from. This location is in the same plaza as Zion supermarket, to the left, and upstairs. Please see the photo I uploaded to Yelp if you have any difficulties looking for this location. Neaumix Fit Northwood has Reformer Pilates, Barre and TRX. Not sure if they have Yoga at this location currently. But definitely not the cycling unlike the Von Karman location. PLEASE BRING GRIP SOCKS FOR PILATES!! Safety first!! My first class at this location was a Reformer Pilates class with Becky on a Friday evening and it was absolutely the best way to jumpstart my weekend. Becky gave me a quick rundown on the new equipment. These reformers are the balanced body brand. Fitness technology and innovation is amazing compared to previous models. I really like all of the enhancements that this new balanced body reformer. For anyone new to reformer pilates, it is great for your form and great for those who have injuries. Be sure to let your instructor know if you have injuries and need adjustments. Anyways back to the class, I really love Becky's classes. She is one of the best instructors for reformer pilates anywhere and all of her other team members I have taken class with are great too. The same teachers are the Von Karman location teach here too, so shout out to Sara, Lauren and Stephanie! These reformer pilates work out are a full body work out and you can use the carriage as support or as additional weight in addition to your own body weight. Becky is so encouraging and she always provides adjustments if you want more of a challenge or less of a challenge. During this class I also had the chance to meet Noelle, another instructor I haven't had prior but she was super sweet and helped me throughout class also. I always leave my work outs at Neaumix Fit feeling strong and beautiful. All of the members and the instructors are support and it's truly a supportive environment. I highly recommend checking out this studio if you enjoy reformer pilates, barre or trx. read more

I book classes through Classpass and absolutely love attending pilates classes at this studio. After trying a few around the area, I keep coming back to Neaumix Fit. The small studio makes it feel intimate and closer to the instructor. I've taken classes with multiple instructors and they're all great. They all come to class with great energy, unique flows and leave me tired and sore! The reformer pilates class here was a bit disappointing. This was my first time trying the machine, but there was pretty much no instruction on how to use the machine. The instructor was standing in the middle to say what to do next, but I couldn't really see her demonstrating anything (because the instructor doesn't have the machine). I recently started my Pilates journey and found Neaumixfit through the ClassPass app. All the instructors I've booked classes with are super knowledgeable and sweet, always making sure to call out any adjustments needed on the reformer based on your personal comfort and physical needs. Highly recommend taking their classes and bonus points for a clean, spacious studio. Parking is also never an issue in this large plaza. This studio opened recently close to my home, so I tried out their free first class offer. Walked into the nice clean studio as a Pilates amateur expecting a relaxing hour of stretching and lengthening. What I got instead was an hour of sweat dripping down my face, muscles shaking with fatigue, and an instructor who kept asking us to give a few more repetitions each time my eyes darted desperately to the clock to see when this torture would end. All joking aside, If you're looking for a Pilates studio that will help you with toning and strengthening, this is for you! I'm sure the the other yoga or stretching classes they offer are probably more in line with my couch potato physique, but I will be back for more reformer sessions so that I can tone up and stop embarrassing myself in class. read more

I was going to the Von Karman location and was so excited when this one opened near my house. Out of all the pilates studios I've tried this one is my favorite. Love the instructors, the clean studio and customer service. This location has all new equipment, clean protocols and close parking. My favorite instructors are Lexi hands down and Cezie. I started Pilates as they opened. As a beginner, I was not sure if I would fit this new work out. I took a trial class and loved it. It was tiring at first but I could feel that my body loved it. I decided take monthly unlimited classes. It is hard of course but I find myself get stronger every single day. It has been 2 and a half month and I come to this studio almost every morning since it gives me more energy than ever. I did not know how stronger I became since my body changed slowly and thru Pilates. But I could see huge difference when I went to play golf. I tried not to hit hard, but my ball went way further than it used to be. And I can tell I got more muscle. And Neaumix opens early and they have evening classes so, I can come to the studio before or after work. All the instructors are energetic and informative. And they have different style which I like making Pilates more fun. Tuesday is my favorite cuz I do pilates in the morning and yoga at night which helps me to get quality sleep at night.
