Tried the Cowboy Crunch Burrito with Shredded Beef this is a delicious combo of Beef, Rice,refried beans, sauce lettuce, tomato & cheese wrapped up in a flour tortilla I did choose a Jalapeño flavored. The Combination was delicious. Service is fast friendly. Not so happy that they are strictly card payment! Neato Burrito and I go way back, like 22 years? Wow. I can say they are super consistent even after all this time. Still love my cowboy crunch burrito and it's still exactly the same as the early 2000's...except for the price. Right around $11-12 depending on tortillas and toppings. Better value than a couple of my other favorites. Service is always pretty quick and the workers pleasant. The restaurant has not received an update since they moved to this location, but it really doesn't need it. Still looks pristine and is always kept super clean. I should've known by the name... The food here unfortunately just has no actual flavor at all. I'm not sure they even use seasoning. The Spanish rice used just tastes disgusting. This was actually the nastiest burrito I've ever had. Not only was there no flavor at all, the beef was like kind of wet (so strange) and the Spanish rice was just foul. Our friends who live in Camp Hill, absolutely love it here so the 4 of us got take out on a rainy Saturday and WOW, so big (burritos) and very delicious, if not so traditional. I had a bowl with rice, black beans, BBQ sauce (what??), Pico and Guac. I also tried the Pineapple Salsa (very good and to me was not so spicy) and Salsa Verde (to me this was medium to hot). This was my first visit...I heard so many great things, so I was excited. It was the VP's birthday at work, and he wanted Neato. My job is in Hummelstown, so I shoot for the location on Paxton Street next to Cafe Fresco. I started calling since they opened at 11 am but only got a busy signal. I thought they were busy so I decided to pop up. Low and behold as I approach, I seen the smallest sign ever stating they were experiencing electrical issues. I got in my car and drove to Lemoyne still sold on the idea that it would be all worth it. Plus, it wasn't about me we had a birthday to celebrate. I ordered a bowl which was just ok. In my opinion it was bland, a small portion for the price and about time I opened the container a small puddle of juice had formed on the bottom lol. I was not impressed, I had better burrito bowls, so the standard was already set. One thing I can say about the Lemoyne location is it's really cute inside. After working in the area for over a year and hearing all the hype I was actually excited to try this place for the first time when I drove by and saw a location close to my office. I ordered a chicken burrito with brown rice and re-fried beans (fairly basic). When I got to the guy putting on the salsa, I asked what the Salsa of the Day was? His response: "Dude, it is all salsa of the day." First, I am not your Dude, I am a customer. Second, I didn't even know what that meant. Anyway, I get my burrito - very large and when I opened the foil and took the first bite, the whole tortilla and burrito fell apart. The only way to eat it was to finish unfolding it and use a fork. What the best word to use? Let's try this: I CHERISH Neato Burrito. I get so tired of the worldly describing Neato as being "fine ... but if you've been where I've been..." Uh-uh. I've been around too, and Neato measures up against any burritos I've come across. Everything is fresh, from the rice to the salsa to the veggies. The decor is retro. Lots of tats and ear hoops. I've yet to encounter an unfriendly server. What's so great about this place is the variety. They're made from scratch, to your precise order. A different special salsa every day (although they've taken to charging $1 extra for the to-die-for jalapeno & feta salsa -- boo!). Take note of the ingredients in their burrito of the day; some of the ingredients can be directed into yours, such as the pesto sauce. Likewise, there are six, I think, kinds of flavored tortillas. You can get it grilled or ungrilled. I think the grilled adds a certain taste I don't care for. And they have Stewart's sodas. You gotta love that. As for the locations, I've tried almost all of them. I feel like you get a little extra in your burrito at the Mechanicsburg Windsor Park location. If you like a memorable venue, New Cumberland's site is it. And I've said for years that the Second Street location in downtown Harrisburg should be open until 3, even 4 a.m. on Friday-Saturday nights. The line would run two blocks with people leaving the bars. If you can't decide, try my Sour Cream & Onion Burrito for something unique.
