    Apple Fritter and chocolate filled
    William S.

Not sure how anyone could give this place anything other than a five. Customer service is great and the donuts are terrific! We had the chocolate filled and the apple fritter. Apple fritter was very moist with lots of apples. Glaze was the right amount. Chocolate filled was the right amount of filling. Easy walk from many hotels at the harbor and plenty of room to sit inside or out. Ironically a workout center is above the shop! A must visit for breakfast in Vancouver.

This cute little donut shop is opened by the same owners as JJ Bean! I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of donuts they had and their prices were only $3.75 for most donuts. In this economy, most other donut places are $5-7 for a donut, so I felt like these prices were amazing. They have some classic donut flavours but also some unique ones. The staff were friendly and nice, and they answered my questions happily. I saw they had one last Dubai Chocolate Donut left ($3.75) so I HAD to snatch it up. It was a nice and pillowy yeast donut, with a dark chocolate glaze and some pieces of kaitafi on top. The inside was filled with a creamy and not too sweet pistachio cream. Delicious. I will be back!!

Came with a huge group (~ 15 people ) and they were very efficient to take our orders and prepare it. It is JJ bean coffee , I got an iced latte and it tasted smooth and good quality oat milk. The donut I tried was amazing , soft, light and not crazy sweet. They had a few unique flavours I will be back to try more. The interior is beautifully designed and pretty spacious with a decent amount of seating.

New donut and coffee place opened May 2025. Neate Donuts with JJ Bean Coffee. They had some interesting choices like Lavender Earl Grey and Dubai Chocolate, but came for the Benny & The Donut, egg benny and donut combo. The donut was easy to cut into nicely filled with ham, poached egg and hollandaise sauce

Taste: 4.6/5 I tried the Dubai Chocolate donut, filled with a generous amount of pistachio cream, glazed with chocolate, and topped with kadayif. It was quite sweet, but the pistachio balanced it nicely. I would have liked a sprinkle more of kadayif. The raspberry-glazed donut was light and airy, and I could really taste the raspberry. Price: 5/5 At $3.75 per donut, I thought the price was completely fair for the quality. Service: 3.7/5 Service was fast, and the staff were friendly, though nothing particularly outstanding. Vibes/Atmosphere: 4/5 The space is bright with plenty of natural light. Seating is limited, but the overall vibe is very pleasant.

Seemed like a lot of staff for the size of the lobby. The latte it self was good, the quality was high but I don't think it stood out to match the price. If you're looking for a donut and coffee in a rather hyper modern esthetic environment. Give it a shot. I think personally I prefer a dive

Great selection, we enjoyed the donuts. Benny and the donut sounded odd but was out of this world. I wish I took a photo of the inside. My latte was beautiful and good quality. Great service.

Stopped by for the Benny and an iced latte! The benny was quite unique and yolk was still runny when I cut into it. I do wish it was a bit more flavorful - it needed a bit more salt or pepper or spice. Iced latte was great - nice and smooth. Nice bright seating. Friendly service.

As I love desserts, I was so excited to see Chinatown and visit this place for the first time. This place was located in an area that would be best to walk with a friend or a small group- I was not quite prepared to see and experience what was going on all around. Finally, we made it there and were glad to order some doughnuts. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the sweet smell of doughnuts and the two friendly staff. Everything looked so good, so narrowing down our pick was very hard! At the end, we ordered two flavours- Matcha and Tiramisu. The matcha doughnut was soft and the filling was light yet full of matcha flavour that one would expect, I loved every bite! My friend had the tiramisu doughnut and she said that she enjoyed the fluffy texture of the dough and the creamy filling- it felt like eating tiramisu in a doughnut form. If you love simple yet high quality ingredients, this place is the perfect place to get your sweet cravings fixed!

At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! I was in need of a pick me up while visiting the Gastown Steam Clock and figured I'd grab a donut from Lee's which is right across the street. There is an overwhelming amount of unique flavors and all of which I would have loved to try. I opted for the matcha and German chocolate donut and wow! I had no idea Canada was known for donuts but I can now understand why. The donuts are super light and airy which I prefer. The reason I don't care for donuts at least in the US is because they're always so dense but it was the complete opposite here. The donuts at Lee's also had a nice crispiness on the outside which added a nice texture. They are also not overly sweet and had great flavor! I especially love the location of this shop because you can do some souvenir shopping on this street and get your pictures of the steam clock. Had I known about this place earlier in my trip I would have loved to come back a second time but at least now I know for the next time that I visit Vancouver.
