I have reported this to the FAA and an investigation has been launched based on my allegations of FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, MISREPRESENTATION FALSIFYING AIRCRAFT LOGBOOK ENTRIES, INSTALLING UNAPPROVED PARTS and RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT! They will not give you a discrepancy list during an annual, they just pull parts and change them and bill you at an outrageous rate! For example, prior to my first annual the cabin held 3.35 MAX PSID beautifully until they damaged the gear saddle that's part of the pressure vessel. They removed it to change a leaking down lock actuator for the left main gear, which by the way never showed any evidence of any leak!' Procraft damaged my pressure vessel and won't take responsibility for it! 30 hours after spending 16k for a top overhaul my engine still runs hot!!I can't climb at 31 inches and 2600 RPM without over temping the engine! Panagotacos takes no responsibility for this! Do yourself and avoid these hacks! They take no pride in their work and will damage your new paint job and your aircraft and blame you!

I was familiar with the Torrey Pines Gliderport but didn't know that Warner Springs had an area for sailplanes/gliders. A glider is a fixed-wing aircraft that is supported in flight by the dynamic reaction of the air against its lifting surfaces, and whose free flight does not depend on an engine. Normally a sailplane relies on rising air to maintain altitude. So we made a date out of it. We booked our flight at 10AM on Saturday, September 16th. On the drive there, we were a bit apprehensive as the mountains were cloudy and it was somewhat drizzling, but after exiting and we reached Warner Springs it was bright and sunny. As we were parking, we saw a view of several sailplanes/gliders. Walking inside, we were immediately welcomed by one of their staff - Piper. Piper was a big dark brown golden retriever with flashes of golden, SUPER friendly, and immediately went on her tummy for rubs. The interior was decorated with cloths with notations of those completed their first flight of flying. There was an area for kids to play in, some bar stools around, and a seating area right next to the bathroom. They also had a cat strolling around, doing its own thing. The bathroom had a wall of interesting tidbits, so be careful if you go in! You may be in there for a while reading them. We got checked in and the kind lady (possibly Donna?) working the desk let us know that Garret will be with us in a few minutes as he was finishing up another flight. We saw a few people fly their first plane out or were taking lessons. While we were waiting, Piper kept us company with asks for pats. When it was our turn, the lady gave us a camera for Garret/his colleague (whose name I forgot) to hook on to the plane, and we walked on out to go on our 30 minute flight. For our reservation purchase, it is for the ride and also for an SD card for the memory of the flight. If you were flying just on your own, you get the opportunity of flying the sailplane under the supervision of the pilot in the front. Since there was two of us, they had to take the controls out from the back. Our pilot, Garret, helped us get into our seating space, and buckled us in, as well as giving us instructions on where we can get air during the ride. We were a cozy squeeze in the back, while Garret was in the front. His colleague helped to ensure we were towed by a plane ahead. It was an amazing view, and a bit surreal to have flown up. Garret and my husband conversed, and he asked a lot of questions. We had minor turbulence. My husband got to disconnect us from the other plane and we were gliding in the air. I did end up bringing a gift to the ground, as I had just a banana for breakfast - which was probably too acidic for the ride. Garret also checked that I was comfortable before he brought us on a fast loop dive (which I've only seen in movies), it was something else to actually experience it. We had the opportunity of flying with Garret Willat. Garret represented the US Open Class team in 2008 and 2010 and the Club Class team in 2014. And he has won 3 US National Championships. I would recommend that if you're looking to do, and you're not afraid of heights/rides, check out Sky Sailing. And for food, check out Jeremy's on a Hill! They have a reservation system and I would suggest that you get food if you had nothing left in your body if you also bought back a gift. Or just Julian after, super close!

Our instructor was great, I felt safe as I learned and he wasn't hesitant to any answer. He allowed me most of the flight to control minus part of the landing which I was ok with and it opened my eyes to the amount of multitasking a focus that's needed during flight. Before I left, he walked me through everything I need to kick off if I'd like to continue with schooling. 10/10

I chose this school for convenience and because they advertised Piper Archers, which I had been flying, but upon arrival I was told they had sold them, so I transitioned to their Cessnas. After about 15 to 20 hours, I was becoming comfortable in the new aircraft. During a short field landing, I applied firm braking as part of the maneuver. On a hot day, the left main tire failed. I took responsibility and agreed to cover the cost of the tire replacement. I was then charged $300, while a document at their front desk clearly listed Tire and Labor as $222. When I raised the discrepancy, I was told over the phone the difference would be refunded. About a week later, I received an email stating the refund would not be issued and that the form had been rectified to match the higher price. Because of this incident, I was told I was not a good fit for the school and was advised to train elsewhere. Flight training is already a significant financial commitment, and situations like this make cost transparency even more important. The issue here is not the tire, it is the inconsistent pricing and reversal after acknowledging the discrepancy. Being shown one price and charged another, then having it changed after the fact, is not a good standard for a training environment. I would strongly recommend prospective students get all pricing and policies clearly in writing before committing, or consider training elsewhere.

So we arrive at the place in EL CAJON SAN DIEGO and saw a lot of planes but we were instructed to wait outside for safety reasons because there were a lot of planes coming in and out and only get in when a PILOT comes to pick us up. we CHOSE the FLIGHT called .... "AFTERBURNER FLIGHT " ... it's a flight you can "FLY YOUR PLANE", take control and Maneuver it with the supervision of course of a Highly trained Pilot. When it's my son's turn to fly, we are greeted by a very nice Pilot. The FIRST thing we did was go to the briefing room with our Pilot where we watch the Safety and Rules while Flying. I was too nervous while my son was getting ready and my son was just relaxed and have this big smile like he is so excited about it. We watch them start flying out until they just disappeared from our sight. A couple of hours later they came back and my son start talking about the different kinds of Exhibitions they did. Some examples of what they did were: *The inside loop *The outside loop *The Aileron Roll *The Tailside *Stall Turn * Falling Leaf My son was very Happy about his flight and says: "BEST EXPERIENCE to FLY a PLANE" and did "Stunts" in the air. Fall 2024 I completed my PPL training with AFIT at KVNY and had a fantastic experience. After a…read moresmooth and professional experience with AFIT for my PPL, I knew I wanted to return for the 10 day IFR accelerated program. For my IFR I worked with Eddie and can say he is a first class instructor with a wealth of information. He refined my skills as a pilot and drove home the point to make small corrections early and showed me how important it is to develop a solid scan of your instruments. I gained a lot of confidence as a pilot through working with Eddie. IFR flying requires the pilot to fly with more precision and increased situational awareness and Eddie helped me every step of the way all the way through my checkride. I really enjoyed my time flying and learning from Eddie. This program is very challenging and very rewarding. You truly get out of it what you put into it. I recommend the IFR 10 day program to anyone who is serious about gaining their instrument rating. It requires your full attention and showing up prepared is a necessity. With two small children at home on the east coast, being able to fully immerse myself in the program was an ideal way to gain this rating. I was able to throw myself into flying, studying and training with no distractions. Eddie is passionate about aviation and truly cares about his student's success. We went around the long beach area, over the water and were able to see the pier, unfortunately we were not able to spot any whale or dolphins but it was fun nonetheless. Our 4 year old had fun. Our 1 year old not too much, she didn't wanna keep her headset one and was fuzzy most of the flight, our instructor was very understanding though We got a SD card of our flight to keep as an remembrance which was a plus.
