I purchased a top that was too big and I needed it taken in and wanted to add sleeves to the tube top. Neville was very professional and was able to create a great fit on the first try. He was reasonably priced and had my top ready BEFORE the deadline!! The location is easy to find in the Plaza next to Insomnia cookies . Highly recommend for any of your alteration needs!!. read more

Ne-Villes Alterations - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

I reached out in Yelp to find out a timeline when my daughter's prom dress could be altered. I heard back immediately and was able to go into the store that morning for a consultation. Very professional(not just with me, while waiting I observed Mr Ne-Villes and all staff). I dropped off Saturday and was promised it would be ready Thursday. It was and it was perfect. I would return here for sure. Gotta love great customer service. Thank you! read more

This place and the quality of the work is amazing. I take all my alterations here and highly recommend them.

Has taken in dresses and swimsuits and they always come out perfect! Highly recommended read more

Ne-villes is a fantastic place to get clothing tailored. Very professional and exceptional quality. I've had suits, sports coats and shirts all adjusted here, and the fit was perfect each time. I'm pretty particular, and it's been quite difficult to find a tailor who can really do men's clothes well. Ne-villes delivers!!!! read more

Good quality. Ready when promised. Easy in and out. Very friendly staff. Price was what expected.

Absolutely perfect! I had some pants I needed hemmed for work ASAP, and they were able to have all four of them finished for me in two days. Great pricing and really professional work. I will definitely be going here for any alterations I need in the future. Thank you so much!! read more

My day started with a service failure at a local alterations shop just around the corner from our home in Charlotte, NC. We've been taking clothes there for over 8 years and two shop owners. Now, there's a new owner. It was immediately apparent customer service skills weren't in her wheelhouse. There was no attempt to build rapport, and I felt like a number from hello. A far cry from the previous owners who went out of their way to get to know us and called us by name. But, hey, this is a new owner. We should at least see what kind of job they do with my alterations. A poor job altering the pants... three days later than promised was one thing. When I shared my concern with the owner, her response was "sorry." She never offered a refund or suggested any form of compensation -- until I made the request. Had she demonstrated just a little more customer care we might still be doing business with her. In the end, she lost an 8-year loyal customer over a $30 mishandled alteration. We researched other local alteration shops and landed on one with 5-star customer reviews. We now take our business up the road about 5 miles away to a place called Ne-Villes Alterations. Ne-Villes doesn't disappoint. I shared with him, the owner and one-man show, that we drive by a dozen local alteration shops, 5-times farther, for his excellent service. He smiled and said, "I know if I don't deliver what you want, and a little more than you expect, you may take your business elsewhere. I want to eliminate the choice." And he has. It's remarkable what a 1-employee company can teach us about excellence. https://medium.com/@michaelkennedy999/on-the-hem-of-excellence-f6b9bc210cd2#.q6d6129uy read more

I brought Neville my wedding dress after Precise Alterations in Huntersville completely destroyed it. He took the dress short notice a week before my wedding and fixed everything. I came in to try it on and I had to give him a hug while crying because he saved our wedding. I cannot express to him how much I appreciate his work. He is amazing and if you ever need anything altered he's the person for the job. Thank you Neville we will always appreciate and recommend you!! read more

Terrible customer service, pants were a little longer than was expected and wanted to charge extra to redo.

I love supporting black businesses but this will be one that I'll never return to. He was very rude and not accommodating after he made two separate errors. First error, he did not complete all the discussed alternatives so I had to take my dress back to him. Second error, I return to pick up my dress on the agreed day, he had not even started on the dress let alone steam it as promised. I had to wait while he rushed to do the alteration. Then in his rushing to steam my dress, he spilled oil on my dress! He was not remorseful nor did he try to rectify the error to fit my timeline. I ended up arriving to my wedding rehearsal late having to wait on him to get my dress cleaned the next day. If you want a rude, unprofessional, mediocre experience then I would recommend this place. read more

Just dropped off a pair of pants to be altered. Found that the proprietor was very kind and humble. He's located inside of Sunny's dry cleaning and they work together as a family operation - I like that. Also found the price to be very reasonable. I think I found an alteration shop that I can use for all things! read more

I am in Charlotte for my cousins wedding and realized I needed a last minute alteration for my suit pants. I started to freak out because it's Saturday and most places were closed .... Ne-Villes Alterations was quick to answer the phone and told me that they could handle my same day rush job !!! For a great price too !! Neville the owner was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. He measured the alterations and was working on the suit pants within a 2 minutes! Very fortunate he was open till 5pm on Saturday and did such a great job! read more

Very dissatisfied with our most recent service especially for never having any issues until now. We brought in some expensive brand new white Levi's to be cuffed correctly at the ankles for the holidays. We brought the pants in clean as they were brand new and the owner even confirmed seeing no spots and once we receive the pants we see spots! Black spots on top of that. I told him these were for the holidays specifically and if we would've seen spots we would've gotten him to clean them too while he was fixing the cuffs. He has been no help after my husband came in this morning to try to get help. I called this afternoon after he turned my husband away and then he stated he could clean it tomorrow evening after we will already be traveling for the holidays. Total rip off and very unprofessional service from people we paid a lot of money to for services and they couldn't help with this small mistake they created. We will not be back. Place up the street will have it cleaned within a few hours so he is not here to provide empathetic customer service because he could've fixed the mistake before we left but he feels it's not his problem. read more

I had my suit-coat altered. I think its bit pricey but he does amazing job. Would have given him 5 stars if not for an hour I had to wait to get my coat in the morning. read more

High quality work and fast turn around time - dropped off on a Thursday afternoon and was already to pick up on Saturday morning, well before when I said I needed it by!! Extremely pleased with the work done - awesome job with fitting and altering to exactly as desired in an extremely timely manner. Highly recommended! read more

I wanted the neckline widened and the wrap detail secured on a dress. Just received the dress back and while the neckline is fine, the wrap detail is worse. It looks undone and the ruching is puckering and bunched up. There's also a large hole in the front of the dress. I can't even wear it anymore. I'm really upset. read more

Amazing turn around, quality alterations and well experienced tailor! I couldn't have been happier with how perfectly fitted my suit turned out. I couldn't even recognize it on me after it was completed. I definitely recommend! Thank you again! read more
