I'm in between paychecks, and one of my nails broke. Worst feeling in the world. I just moved downtown, so I needed to find somewhere to get it fixed for the low.... you know the vibes. I searched this place--and went to check it out. They fixed the nail. She did an overlay--so she had to build the tip manually, instead of adding a fake nail. THEY DID NOT EVEN CHARGE ME!!!! needless to say, I will be back. I actually love that one nail she replaced. The gel is clearer, and she did her thing with the shape. I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT THIS NAIL SALON!!! It was my first time there and the woman who did my gel pedi also did my gel manicure. I inquired about getting tips so she put them on. She used glue and they kept coming off to the point that I told her to give up on one finger after 4 attempts. But I figured once she added the gel and finished they would be secure. I walked out and noticed how sloppy my mani looked!!! She didn't clean up the polish on the sides and the polish was not smooth on the nails. Overnight my nails bent w activity and were painful!!! By the next morning they started popping off!! I went back to the salon and the male Asian manager was LOUD AND RUDE!!! He would not apologize for the work his employee did and said there were no refunds. He kept blaming me for what happened and trying to explain to me how tips work. He wanted me to wait to correct the ones that were off but they were all going to come off so they would have to start from scratch and I did not have the time. I ALSO DID NOT TRUST THEM. THE MANAGER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND IM NOT SURE IF ITS BECAUSE HE WAS SPEAKING TO A BLACK WOMAN! The employee was there who did this terrible job but he never acknowledged that or apologized!!! Took a chance based on the mixed reviews and I'm glad I did. Anthony does my nails and he is awesome!!! I'm VERY particular about how acrylic is laid as well as nail shaping (I'm an almond gal) and Anthony is on point every time! I've only gotten a design once (cheetah) and he did great with that as well. I've only gotten a pedi from here once but the woman did a very thorough job. I def recommend this place! read more

Highly recommend! I use to go to this one salon (in GP & GPW) before discovering NC nails and the place before ruined my nails. I came across this place because of a friends recommendation and have been nothing but satisfied. I did have one nail tech who's work I didn't like so I asked for someone else. But like all places I think that's pretty common. I recommend asking for Ryan. I'll just go ahead and post my before and multiple after photos for you guys to make your own choice. I was pretty disappointed for spending $75 on a full set and pedicure. I asked for coffin nails and I got short little chicklet shaped nails. After, I got a pedicure and they put the wrong color on my toes. I said something and the man doing them insisted it was the right color until I did a side by side comparison. He took the color off and repainted them, but they looked sloppy and rushed. I'm just bummed out. read more

Negative 5 stars. The management is rude. There were multiple times that I've been to this establishment and they do not do quality work. They use cheap products. We need to stop patronizing business like these. My nails were done in shellac under a week ago and chipped/lifted terribly. They get stuck in my hair and clothing. I went back in after vacation and the manager said that his policy is 3 days although shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks. I didn't argue. I just mentioned that I will visit the nail shop down the street from now on and I will. They talk junk about other customers to current customers. Very unprofessional. Completely sloppy shaping of nail bed after I asked that more care he taken because the tech was going to ad the acrylic far away from my nail bed meaning I'd have to get a fill within a week or so. Now it looks like it's spilling over. My polish change on my toes looked like a preschooler did it. Also, the shellac was not curing properly so I'm sure I wasted two+ hours in this shit terrible excuse for a salon. read more

This place was great. Clean and organized. My husband and I visited from out of town and each had a manicure and pedicure. They even talked my husband into a brow wax, something I have been trying to do for years with no success. I had a gel manicure and matching pedicure. They used a CND knockoff product so I will see how it wears and comes off. Pedicure chairs and products were top of the line, the technicians did a great job. Would recommend to anyone. read more

The nail techs and owners are friendly and fun. They always seem to be having a good time and don't come off as stressed or overworked, which makes the customer's experience also fun and relaxed. came in around 12:30pm and wasn't serviced till about 2:00 which was fine i had no problem waiting but when it was my turn i asked for a soak off and instead the lady starts ripping my old set off with a metal tool and completely destroyed two of my nails. then started a soak when i only had 3 nails left (still charged me) after i stated she was hurting me. then i get a different nail tech because the lady completely left me and started a new set on someone else, the man that did my nails was very rude when i was explaining that the other tech hurt me and two of my nails needed to be maintenanced before applying a tip and i was told i could leave if i was gonna bring "bad energy" because he's the professional and i'm not. all while the owner is trying to throw another lady out for asking to get a nail fixed read more
