NBC morning shows are daily mandatory viewing for Marianne. I start my day with the tape of the Kelly Clarkson show that aired the day before. At 4am Frances Rivera comes on the show Early Today with the National News. And at 4:30am during my breakfast I enjoy Today in New York with the family like faces of Darlene Rodriguez, Michael Gargiulo, Maria LaRosa (weather forecast) and Adelle Caballero traffic reporter. NBC has great sports coverage. I've got my NBC Sports Key Chain because I'm a huge fan. If you're living in NYC I'm sure you have your favorite channels. I'm recommending NBC.

Had the opportunity to attend a taping of Kelly Clarkson show. It was a 5 hour experience, but well managed . They kept you informed throughout the process. The only comment is we followed the instructions on the ticket and stayed outside the entrance as instructed and found majority of the attendees did not , and were lined up inside. They had a lounge to wait in with bathrooms, a selfie booth and ample seating. It was a fun experience.

I had the most incredible experience here!!! I'm a HUGE fan of The Tonight Show and was shocked when I found out I had been chosen to see how they make their magic!!! Loved the experience!!!!!! Loved watching Jimmy Fallon live and loved how the whole team made the process so smooth although it took a lot of time from beginning to end. They have the most friendly staff and I sincerely wish I am chosen again in the future, it was just soooo awesome and exciting and fascinating!!!!!!!

As a venue to shopping and shows I'd give this a 4/5. We've had the pleasure of seeing the late night shows featuring Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers there. Interesting profile web site process to get you in on tickets; if you put in the time to do that work, chances are you'll have a shot at getting there early and having a shot in studio. Will definitely be back to enjoy more as we visit NYC.

Why am NBC review? Aside from the obvious, I gotta shout out to some pretty awesome programming throughout the years. Shows like Seinfeld, Law & Order, Friends, Family Ties, Miami Vice, Cheers, Monk, 30 Rock, House, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Chicago Fire, Med and M.D., and of course, Saturday Night Live. Dating myself now, I gotta mention some pretty cool classic TV with Alfred Hiitchcock, I Dream of Jeannie, Columbo, Hill Street Blues, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Golden Girls, and the list goes on. But it's especially significant today because it's Sept. 8, as it was this was the date in 1966 when the very first episode of Star Trek "The Original Series" aired on NBC, entitled "The Man Trap." People around planet earth celebrate "Star Trek Day" today in honor of the 56th anniversary of the original Star Trek series, and it's legacy as one of the most successful, best stories, films, and TV shows in history. (Yes I am a trekkie :-) I seriously looked forward every week to each new episode of Star Trek, and many years later that translated to watching every episode of TNG (Star Trek: The Next Generation) with my daughter. Now nearly 3 decades later she goes with her husband on the annual Star Trek cruise, yes she's a trekkie, too :-) So for all the other Trekkies out there you might want to check out a special online event today. It's a live event that will have in-person conversations with cast members from the Star Trek universe, along exciting announcements and reveals throughout, tribute to the late legend Nichelle Nichols, and much more. https://www.startrek.com/videos/watch-star-trek-day-2022-trailer Bottom line: TV isn't what it used to be, and NOT being political here, maybe just politically incorrect, but nor are the "woke" execs at companies like NBC. I mean if a lot of those classic TV shows would have ZERO chance of airing today, I'm thinking The Honeymooners, Benny Hill, All In The Family, The Jeffersons, or God forbid The Dukes of Hazzard, and that list goes on. And that would have been A Series of Unfortunate Events, teehee see what I did there? :-)

Popped in for a taping of the Amber Ruffin Show back in September. The welcome crew did a fantastic job in lining all of us, directing us through various checkpoints and keeping us energized while waiting to be seated in the studio audience. One of my highlights was seeing the old SNL photos on the way. Gift shop is a cool place to stop by for a few photos with backdrops and fun paraphernalia of some of your favorite NBC shows. Definitely would recommend getting tickets for one of the shows filmed there if possible while visiting NYC.

My husband and I stopped in here while wandering around one day and decided to take a look in their store. They have so many goofy and cute old TV show items. I got myself a Bayside Tigers shirt and a Friends shirt. If you want to be part of the audience in a show they recommend you come in early that morning to have your name put down. You then show up two hours or more before the show starts to wait in line and see if you get in. I have no patience to wait in a line that long so we chose not to even try to see a taping. But if this is your type of thing, go for it!

Turns out they kept the production team from the Wayne's World skit on SNL and let them run the Olympics coverage.

NBC is a great tourist spot, very crowded... And the store is over priced but it's well worth it.

The celebrities have a job to do but they are really friendly. Especially Robin and Laura. Very outgoing and engaging. We took photos with Robin at the end. She is very friendly and put up with my bad jokes. It was a highlight of our trip. There were a couple of free gifts at the end as well. Lucky us! I would definitely do this again; so much fun!

Unfortunately, lately I don't find the program as interesting or informative as it once was. The content feels repetitive, and there seems to be a strong focus on shopping segments. At times, it feels more like QVC than a national morning news program. The cast is wonderful, and I truly enjoy them. However, I would love to see more real news coverage -- important stories from across the United States and around the world. That's what made the show special to me. Today, I actually turned off the TV because the focus was again on product promotions and free shipping offers. I say this respectfully, as a long-time viewer who genuinely values the program and hopes to see it return to more substantial news coverage. Thank you for listening to a loyal viewer's feedback.

She reports the weather very professionally, with style, and a sense of humor. I've been watching the local news for decades in NYC, and the main reason I watch PIX11 is to see her. She looks like she was a model. Another reason I always watch PIX11 is that the news anchors report the news in a very relaxed manner. They are never in a hurry to finish their news line to go to commercials. They beat the big three, CBS, NBS, AND ABC, because they are on the air more often than they are.

Basically, as with most streamers you can cancel, re-up for a month or two, binge anything new and then cancel again. I hung around for their re-boot of Frasier (IMHO the best sit-com of all time) and witnessing the train wreck made of the updating, it was beyond sad and unnecessary. Without the sterling writing and tight ensemble cast, it's a quick hook and curtains for the good doctor. I also love Star Trek but you can't build an entire streamer around the reruns and a geriatric Jean Luc Picard. Finally, it was also interesting catching a few episodes of the original Hawaii Five-0 and Mission Impossible. My nostalgic tolerance for bad acting and hackneyed plots is fleeting and reminds me that a fond boyhood memory is often more pleasing than a real time reminder. Paramount+ may live long and prosper but it's in dire need of more rotating content. Dr. Frasier Crane deserved better... kudos to the rest of the original cast for staying away. Five stars for the convenience and excellent picture quality.
