My second visit to this studio. I was happy being here today but this time to watch Drew Barrymore show. The timeline set for the fans from entry to seating plan down to exit was on point. The staff is very organized and the their system is systematically favorable over the other studio. The studio is clean, neat and has lobby for fans bathroom and snack stand friendly. The show segments are entertaining but mostly Drew is the most down to earth celebrity I have met. I'd been to many show tapings and this show, staff and star are the most accommodating, friendliest and cried pleaser. I have never watched same show taping but I will do for the Drew Barrymore show. One star less to my review because the associate who was letting the fans sit in designated area made a huge mistake. We were already seated and were asked to move to another spot further from our original stand. I did not hear an apology before the instruction until I went down and complained. Whether her reason was valid or not, it was just right to apologize. Friendly reminder that its the fans who are the life of your business.

Growing up I watched CBS for hours and years! We had the first TV's in Black and White. We didn't have as many channels back in the 1950's! I was an only child of a working Mother so she had to entertain me the best she could. When my Dad came home from work, he took control of the TV. I was told when I had to get up to change the channel!! The best thing about living in NYC is having multiple locations of your favorite TV Stations to visit. I may not be out walking as much in the Covid Days and exceedingly warm humid weather, but I hope to return eventually. I'm posting some of my favorite classic shows. I can watch them over and over. You can research the long history of CBS for yourself. You may have current shows you love. A tidbit about CBS: CBS television network has over 240 owned-and-operated and affiliated television stations throughout the United States, some also available in Canada via pay-television providers or in border areas over-the-air. CBS was ranked 197th on the 2018 Fortune 500 of the largest American corporations by revenue.

A few months ago, a fellow Yelper posted a review about going to CBS for a Harry Tv taping. I immediately did my research and applied for tickets to see Harry and I was excited - trying new things, taking advantage of living in NY where so much is possible, and seeing Harry Connick JR on his new talkshow. The tickets process online was super simple- pick a day and they email you the tickets (granted the date you've picked is a few weeks away) Getting to CBS is a bit dicier, we took the LIRR and jumped in a cab for less than 10$. On the way back, a leisurely walk is recommended (especially for lunch and to hit up few Yelp friendly eateries!) Overall, the taping went smoothly and it was fun and upbeat. Harry's band is top notch and he was great as host, he even walked around the audience and shook hands ( yep I got a hand shake!) SWOON

After the last talk show, we were offered tickets to see Harry, the Harry Connick Jr Show in its second season. I will have to tune into his show as I LOVED it and him. He is so charming, adorable, and down to earth! She shook hands with as many audience members as he could! It is actually a NBC show but filmed at CBS.

During my recent trip to New York, a family friend who works at CBS News was able to provide us a behind the scenes look at the huge monolith that is the CBS Broadcast Center. I was able to meet and speak with both the on-air talent as well as the behind the camera producers and technicians. I was impressed with the specialization and dedication of each employee, working towards the ultimate goal of providing news and entertainment to millions of Americans. We toured the sets of CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, and CBS Sunday Morning. In addition to the network sports operations and the local New York affiliate's studios, there are many other studios in the complex that house shows such as Inside Edition and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (one of my favorites). If you're at all interested in TV production, a public tour of CBS would be well worth taking.

One of the biggest studios in NYC. The staff and workers always friendly and helpful in & around the studios. Only been here for Mel Robbins show tappings but they tape CBS morning show here also. Always Entertaining and fun.

Had such a great time at CBS tonight. The TV studios were very nice. My girlfriend got us tickets to see the new NBC show, the Marriage Ref. It was hilarious. The special guests were Larry David, Madonna, and Ricky Gervais, along with Jerry Seinfeld. Larry David was amazing to see live, it was just like watching an episode of Curb. NBC Studios at Rockefeller is way nicer, cleaner and well-kept outside of the actual stage, but CBS was very well-organized in the TV taping. We had an amazing time, got seats in the front row, right in front of the panel. It is the 5th episode of the 9 episode season, so you'll definitely see me on it when it airs on NBC, PS Dress nice, look good and get there early and maybe you'll get as lucky as we did and be asked to sit up front for the cameras.

Another highlight of my last NYC trip: I was in the audience of the 9/24/13 taping of the new day time talk show "Bethenny" (Frankel). I have been a fan of the reality show star turned cocktail mogul (Skinny Girls Margarita) turned talk show host since the Real Housewives of NYC days a few years ago. Knowing her no holds barred talking style, quick wits and funny one-liners she is famous for, as well as her background as a health food chef, and the usually diverse and informative guest panels she invited on her show, I knew I was in for a treat. It all started with an email request to the show for tickets. I received an email back the following day and then was emailed two tickets for the day of my choosing. I worked this into my vacation schedule for my NYC trip. You could request more tickets for your party and they will grant based on availability. Just make sure to be there on time or even a little earlier. I took a taxi and arrived there a little after 8 am for the show scheduled to be taped at 10 am. At that point there was no seat left in the waiting room. Since I was still on California time, that was a little too early for me. It would have been nice if they had provided some hot coffee for us though, since we gave up our time to do this for free. Anyway, that was my only complaint. I just had to get a bottle of cold coffee from their vending machine; luckily I had some coins with me... They had us fill out a questionnaire for questions we wanted to ask Bethenny and indicate if we wanted to be called upon to share our thoughts/experiences on selected topics. I was content to be a "quiet" witness to the show so did not sign up for anything. Now I wish I had; ha ha.... I was sitting in one of the front rows so could see that the host was reading the captions on the screen of the huge video equipment that was filming her. That was interesting to note that they actually had typed up her script. There must have been hours/days of planning/prepping just for an one-hour air time on TV. On the set that day I also noticed that the crew and the majority of the audience were young people with great energy. Before the show started we were entertained by a lady who was introduced to us as a comedian and her job there was to make us laugh and to get us excited for the show. Nice job as we all got psyched and couldn't wait for the show to start! The dance moves and music was fun too. All in all It was a very well organized event definitely worth attending at least once! Oh what was special for me was I also saw Martha Stewart on the show! Was very happy to see her demonstrating how to frost (her favorite) lemon meringue cake, which happens to be my favorite too :-) I am a fan of her cake recipes so receiving a free copy of her latest Cakes cookbook after the show just made my day! The show's studio can be accessed from the side door, so I did not get to enter from the front entrance and see what a regular CBS studio is like. I remember touring the NBC news studio in the Rockefeller Center a few years ago though and it seemed bigger than CBS studio here. I liked the location of CBS studio as it's within walking distance to the Central Park and all the shops on the 5th Ave. I took a walk after the show to the Central Park and it was a very very beautiful and memorable day for me.

Me and a few friends got tickets to go see Harry Connick tv show. I hate NYC. Like ALOT but this was worth it. The way the staff takes care of you here is ridiculous. Like so warm and friendly and i realize they must do this with every single person every day and it was amazing. On to the show. The studio is mad small and there wasn't a bad seat to be found. Harry is so DREAMY in person. He was gracious enough to go around to every single audience member (over 100) and shake everyone's hand. He talked to us between breaks and was such a gentleman. Our guests were Rebecca Hall, Laila Ali, and Beth Stern. We all got free cookbooks too!!! It was def a different day for Beth Landers and im so glad my friend talked me into going. Tickets are free and it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

This review is for my Bethenny talk show experience. I have been a fan of Bethenny since she was on the RHONY. I watched her spin off show on Bravo and have purchased many skinny girl items in hopes to support her and her growing empire. The highlight of my last trip to NYC was my ticket to go see the Bethenny talk show. It was an early arrival time, 7am, but I didn't care. Did I mention it was December and the morning high was 11 degrees? Again, I am such a fan even if I had to climb Mount Everest, I would do it and I literally did. Little did I know, we'd be treated like cattle. We stood outside for an hour. My legs were frozen and while a few crowd people came by trying to wake everyone up, asking questions, I didn't know if I should beg the random people walking by for their coffee so I could move my fingers. After spending an hour standing outside, we were brought inside, pushed through security, a metal detector and than pushed in to a tiny room with not enough seats for the amount of people whose feet were killing them. We were given forms to fill out, things to sign and another crowd person came in trying to hype us up. It was obvious at this point that several people were still frozen and a bit irritated as it was now 8:30am and we were no where closer to getting on the set. From the tiny room, we were sent up 4 flights of stairs. There were several times we were stopped as more questions were asked, more forms were signed and yet another obnoxious crowd person clapping and telling us to "get ready." Get ready, indeed, to literally stand in the stairwell and in a hot hallway for another hour. We were not brought up the final 2 flights of the stairs that led us to Bethenny's set until 9:15AM. Yep, thats right, 2 hours and 15 minutes of standing, stairs and more standing. Needless to say, the crowd of once hyper girls jazzed to see Bethenny looked tired and half asleep as I was one of them! We were finally seated at 9:30AM. The funny guy that was our crowd hype introduced himself and dance music began to start. The audience was finally starting to come back around again, thaw out and relax...2.5 hours after arriving. It's sad when the guy that gets the crowd hyped has more personality than the host. Bethenny had zero interaction with the crowd at all. She comes in to the crowd, as you see on her show, but she only talks to the random people that were pre-selected before the show. I wasn't looking for an autograph or a personal conversation but how about acknowledging your fans that literally climbed a mountain to come see you, froze to death outside for an hour and spent weeks trying to get tickets? How about giving out more free swag? The hype guy only gave out 2 t-shirts and 1 hat during the entire taping despite the 125 people in the crowd. Nothing was for sale either so your option was to literally fist fight for a t-shirt or sit quietly and hope your calves stop screaming from your 2 hours on the stairs. Between commercial breaks, the hype guy kept telling the crowd we were going to lunch afterwards and we'd be drinking Skinny Girl martini's. This instantly woke the crowd up! The girls besides me even called their nanny's and asked them to stay later because we were going out to lunch. The lady in front of me asked the hype guy if water would be served because she doesn't drink alcohol and he said yes, water, juice or soda for all non drinkers. The idea that we were getting lunch at the end was so exciting! I was hoping Bethenny would show up!! Little did I know, the show ended as quickly as it started and we were shown the door. What happened to the lunch and martini's? I asked a security guy and was told to keep it moving. I was instantly pissed off. Its bad enough I just spent 4 hours and 30 minutes for nothing but now we were all lied to about lunch only to be shoved down the stairs again where this morning from hell began. Overall, arriving to CBS at 7AM and finishing with the taping at 11:30AM made for a long morning. I wasn't even down the street before I removed my name from the Bethenny fan page on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. What a waste of time and total disappointment.
