The Greg Gutfeld Show is something that has to be experienced. First of all, the tickets are free. You submit your online request and, if you receive a confirmation, it'll be accompanied by a QR Code, which you'll require on the day of the recording. The studio is located within the 1211 Avenue of the Americas building, on 48th Street. Audience members are allowed in at around 4:45ish PM, but make sure to be on line by 3:30 PM, because the studio only holds 82 people and they've turned away ticket holders over the 82 maximum. After going through security, you'll be led into a room, where refreshments will be provided. There, security will reiterate that phones will be turned off throughout the recording. After being led into the studio, you'll witness all of the details that encompass this show, where Greg Gutfeld will speak to a celebrity panel of guests about current political topics...and then some. I like Fox news! I've always liked Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Jesse Watters. I like Glenn Beck, Dan Bongino, and Tucker Carlson. I miss my sweet Mother-in-Law, who constantly had Fox News on in her home, much to my brother-in-law's chagrin. My long-time best friend always had Fox news on in her home - either Fox news or Jeopardy. Although I rarely watch any news on TV these days, I use the Fox news app., receive the app's breaking news alerts, and follow these folks I named above on X and on Facebook. I often listened to "The Five" on my drive home from work. Interesting note about Sean Hannity, since I live in Athens, AL. Sean worked in my town, at the politically conservative AM station WVNN in Athens, Alabama. Apparently WVNN is still around and has been in operation since 1948. The network content is okay, with a few exceptions. The customer service department is less than satisfactory. Within seconds of submitting a complaint or question, FOX sends an EMail acknowlegment. However, of the 4 or 5 submissions I've made over the past few years, I have yet to receive a response that the problem was fixed or the question answered. read more

Conservative bias but not as extreme as the liberal bias in the mainstream (leftwing) media outlets like PBS, CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, USA Today, ABC, CBS, NBC, etc. Fox reports stories that the leftwing media refuses to expose, such as Hillary Clinton's alleged fabrication of Trump's collusion with Russia, China's alleged development of the COVID virus for use as a biological weapon, and the alleged financial (and. other) crimes perpetrated by Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. Note that the leftwing media ultimately reported the aforementioned stories but long after the damage had been done to the intended conservative targets. Given a choice to get neutral news, I would go with Fox over any mainstream media source. read more

Fox News isn't *that* bad. When it comes to TV news, CNN has traditionally been and continues to be my primary news source. However, I started tuning into Fox News more after Trump was elected in 2016 just because I got tired of the constant bashing of Trump and conservatives on CNN. I wanted to see what the conservative perspective was on Fox. For the record, in the last five presidential elections, in no particular order, I've voted twice for the Democratic nominee, twice for the Republican nominee, and once for the Libertarian nominee. Historically, I've been all over the map. When watching cable news channels like CNN and Fox, I understand, like many others, the ways they lean and I always keep that in mind when I consume news and other programming from these channels. When Trump was first elected, I thought like many, that Fox News was akin to state-run TV. In some respects it was. I think they kissed up to Trump a lot. However, and this is just my perspective, in recent years I think they've backed off that. I really ramped up my consumption of the channel when I started working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With no live sports to watch at the time, instead of watching ESPN, TNT, Golf Channel, and ACC Network, I watched CNN and Fox News. In my opinion, during the initial wave of coronavirus infections across the US, I think CNN portrayed the pandemic in a more dramatic and dire light compared to Fox. To me, Fox seemed to take a more "measured" and pragmatic approach to the crisis. A couple examples: (1) When Georgia Republican Senator Kelly Loeffler dumped millions in stock after a private all-senators briefing about the coronavirus, Fox's Tucker Carlson asked her hard-hitting questions about it on-air. (2) Likewise, Fox's Martha MacCallum did the same to Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp after he announced he would reopen Georgia against the White House's "Phase" guidance back in April. Carlson and MacCallum asked the same questions I think any common-sense journalist would have. And Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marty Makary voiced his clear disagreement with Kemp's decision on air. Personalities on both Fox and CNN get to be too much sometimes. I find certain personalities on both channels to be unwatchable, but more so on Fox. To those who think Fox News is pure evil, I think you should take a step back and try to watch it with a more open, understanding, and unbiased mind. Try to see both sides of the table. Steering clear of the opinion shows, Fox does report factual news. I will say Fox News could do a better job diversifying their on-air talent. At the time of writing this review, the only people of color that I've regularly seen on the channel are Harris Faulkner and Juan Williams (the latter is part of a panel and does not have his own show). I recommend watching the star-studded 2019 Academy Award-winning film Bombshell starring Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6394270/. It's a based-on-a-true-story dramatization of some of Fox's female newscasters and their experiences with sexual harassment from the CEO at the network at the time. Enjoy watching the 5, but, have come to the point of not watching when Jessica Tarlov is on. She is too biased, and can never give a fair opinion on anything. She overlooks any negatives regarding Democrats, trying to explain away their antics, especially now, with all the hostile talk and actions. And, she can never ever try to look forward to anything positive regarding the Republicans. I appreciate people having opinions, but, not when they are so narrow minded and have such a "herd" mentality. I have been registered as a Democrat all my life, but, cannot justify what I have witnessed the last 10 years, and have been able to see right from wrong. I was thinking it was possibly a glitch in your system on your news articles and the ability to post opinions. Not so much anymore as of today. Is freedom of speech now being smothered on Fox News? Remember comments are personal opinions. I don't threaten anybody on your site but I constantly have to delete and reload your app. Sometimes ten times a day, just to post comments. Is that all it takes? Is it just as easy as 123 and someone is offended by my comment with no relativity to threats or nasty talk. I watched Fox News because my parents watched Fox News. I started also started watching some of the guests they had on on their own YouTube channels. Fox News drive me crazy. I was so worried the dollar was gonna crash, the government was going to take our guns, and declare martial law. I started questioning some of the stories that I was being told on Fox News and found out that most of it was lies. They would tell stories that would make me panic, and then an ad would come on for a product to help me with that panic. Wait a minute. None of the things that's I was concerned about happened. How could a news network tell stories that are not true? It turns out Roger Ailes, pushed Fox News in the direction of telling people stories that they wanted to hear or justify their beliefs without regard for truth. I think it's sick that a major news group tells stories in effort to boost ratings, justify their viewers point of view or cause panic with no regard for the truth. I'll admit that I enjoyed the early years of Fox News mainly because it was different. I mean CNN's Dave Walker and Lois Hart was a far cry from uncle Walt and 16 years of CNN, since their launch in 1980, was getting old. Apparently I wasn't alone with a move to the new upstart cable news network because by 2011 Fox News was reaching 100 million households, attracting more viewers than all other cable-news outlets combined with only one-third the staff and 30 fewer bureaus than CNN with estimated profits of $816 million. Multi-billionaire (23B) Rupert Murdoch, who created Fox News, while he was brilliant, in a P.T. Barnum kinda way, has been a political hack since his early days as an apprentice at a London newspaper. He now owns a media empire of hundreds of local, national, and international publishing outlets around the world, including in the UK (The Sun and The Times), in Australia (The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun and The Australian), in the US (The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post), book publisher HarperCollins, and Tv broadcast channels Sky News Australia and Fox News. He was also the owner of Sky (until 2018), 21st Century Fox (until 2019). Rupert Murdoch had very active rolls in support of the G.W. We've come a long way baby, which yes Virgina Slims was using in their ad campaigns back then, and we've seen the rise of cable news dominance with Fox News but it's future is certainly not clear, in my opinion, especially with the ever growing public general distrust in the media. On the upside, both Fox News, Fox News Business and their people have been largely responsible for raising awareness and many millions of dollars for individuals and organizations that include Tunnels for Towers, Wounded Warriors, families of fallen soldiers, first responders and many more so kudos for giving back, always a good thing. I am a Republican and for the most part watch all three of the major cable news networks to varying degrees - not because I'm a glutton for punishment or want to torture test my political inclinations but... I just want to hear all sides whether I agree or not. Even before the world went nuts, I was never into echo chambers. Fox News specifically, is getting much harder to take. With the exception of Bret Baier's 6pm news program (which for the most part plays it straight down the middle) and the Chris Wallace Sunday morning public affairs talkie, the remainder of the schedule is a mixed bag of partisan rancor and Kiwanis Club fluff. What the hell happened to The Five, this once intelligent panel program has devolved into a schoolyard giggle-fest. Morning yapper Fox & Friends is basically unwatchable juvenilia led by the always cringe-worthy Blonde Franken-douche Steve Doocy. Ya know what big guy, the political musings of your favorite country music artists or NASCAR drivers do not interest me in the least. In the evening, Hannity and Laura Ingraham are just boorish mouthpieces for Trump who never stray far from the reservation and that makes any time spent with them a waste. On the other hand, Tucker Carlson is an intelligent provocateur, has his moments of brilliance and is not afraid to poke the Chieftains of the GOP when warranted. It's sad to say but in the current FNC line-up, their former on-air conspiracy theorist and doomsayer Glenn Beck, would be considered a moderate. As for CNN and MSNBC they're basically all invective, all the time. Any person or idea remotely supportive of Trumpism is treated like a piñata and bashed into pulp with no deviation between host or daypart. I'll look in but generally it's groupthink 24/7. Case in point, Morning Joe which used to be a somewhat objective left leaning affair. Suddenly, co-host Mika Brzezinski decided that constant heavy sighing punctuated by a huff and a puff every time the GOP or Trump is mentioned is an acceptable replacement for full sentences and complete thoughts. Spare me. Bottom line, I never saw my political affiliations as an exercise in blind fealty or unyielding obedience. All political parties, politicians and media are FOS to a certain extent and I suspect it's deciding on the lies you can live with that form your allegiances. To me, Fox News is just slightly less FOS than the other two. That's not exactly a blue ribbon endorsement but that's all I got, especially in this hyper-partisan age. read more

I get a little frustrated with most news, over coverage of some things, they seem to focus on news in NYC because they are based there. Were it not for this issue Fox News would have got 5 stars. As a dedicated viewer of many shows on the Fox News Channel and a history buff I decided to join FoxNation to view a series about George Washington. In a video clip Mr. Ducey says "All you have to do is download the app on your phone, then click on the little icon at top right of home screen and it will link up with your Smart TV". Well after 2 hours which included a live chat with a Verizon tech and a live chat with a FoxNation rep, who gave me bad information, and reviewing all the settings in phone and TV, which were spot on, I gave up. I can link my phone, lap top and desk top to TV ( I can even link my hearing aids to lap top to watch movies ), but FoxNation refused to recognize my TV and nobody could explain why. I refuse to watch TV on a Cell phone screen. Then I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get the account closed . I had it for maybe 3 hours, did nothing with it, but will be billed for the month. The channel broadcasts from the studios at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. I love to read the neon news headlines that wrap around the front of the building. This building is in a neighborhood I spend a lot of time enjoying. You usually find me here in the Summers. I've enjoyed visiting many times over the years. The broadcasters come outside for events. They provide food and fun for free during the summer. I enjoy what they have to offer the public who frequently gather outside their building. There's seating outside and it's a very enjoyable courtyard to grab lunch and sit to relax. I always loved the statue of Bart Simpson. It's been removed!! He about sums up how I feel about FOX News. It's propaganda. If they advertised themselves as "Fox Propaganda," I might rate them a star (even 2) higher, if only for sheer effectiveness. There's a difference between the "conservatives" of this generation and the conservatives of my late parents' generation (my father and mother both were veterans in World War II; the "greatest generation"). At the risk of sounding judgmental, or maybe too forgiving, I think you had to row hard against the tide to achieve any level of enlightenment back then. Just look at the movies people of that generation were raised on. My mother's favorite movie was "Gone With The Wind," a "classic" that celebrated slavery, marital rape, the Ku Klux Klan. Insulting racial caricatures abound in those movies; demeaning ethnic stereotypes are par for the course. I love old movies, but sitting through some of them now can be squirm-inducing. For those who grew up when these movies were being made, this was the culture. This was "normal." Once, a few years ago, I watched a TV program on the repulsive villainy of J. Edgar Hoover with my father, an old-line conservative, but essentially a moral guy. I asked him, "How could people of your generation support a slimebag like that for all those years?" My father replied, "All this stuff coming out now, we never knew. This information wasn't readily available to the general public. To us, he was presented as a staunch defender of American values, a bulwark of law and order." That made some sense to me. It doesn't excuse the bigotry or racism of the past, but it makes it a little more explicable, in my opinion. If you're living in a vacuum, with limited sources of alternate information coming in, how can you hope to be anything except brainwashed? Thankfully, people like my parents were smart, they read books and worked hard to educate themselves, they stayed up to date with what was happening in the world. They were conservatives, but they were conservatives of integrity and ethical standards, and you couldn't predict their reaction to every political/social issue in advance. Yeah, my father supported Nixon and Reagan. He even supported Joe McCarthy as a young man. But he also held opinions, and actually pro-actively did things, that both surprised and impressed me. Which makes the self-imposed "brainwashing," the deliberate, almost belligerent ignorance of far too many Americans today, the devaluation of critical thinking and cogent reasoning and logical analysis, the narrowly focused "ostrich with their head in the sand" mind-set, so depressingly egregious, and so numbingly depressing. Maybe there was an excuse for J. Edgar Hoover. There's no excuse for Donald Trump. We live in a world where people have access to more information than any generation in history. Obviously, due diligence needs to be applied in processing that information, in separating what is wheat from what is chaff. But there's no excuse for the distortions and obfuscations that Fox (and its myriad of more vitriolic, venomous imitators, on TV, internet, and "talk radio") engage in routinely in the service of "angry white people" everywhere (I have a friend, a black gentleman raising his family in Newark, who says to me when the issue of "angry white male" gets raised, "Eddie, why are you white people so angry? What've you got to be so angry about? Wanna be angry, how about trying to raise a family in Newark? Now THAT'S angry!"). I've never been a great admirer of previous conservative icons like William Buckley, or George Will, or even David Brooks, but these people are giants compared to enormously wealthy faux populists like ex-bartender Sean Hannity, or Clinton "witch finder general" Laura Ingraham (by the way, to me, Clinton was...at best...a moderate Republican), or mouse-voiced hysteric Mark Levin. Personally, I think it's less about fiscal responsibility and smaller government. I think it's more about fear/hatred of brown/black people. I don't know if Goebbels is smiling up from hell, but Charles Manson's maxim, "No sense makes sense," has never been more appropriate. Yeah, they'll have somebody reputable on like Chris Wallace, who is worthy of respect (frankly, I'd rather have his father, Mike). They attempt to alleviate the acid monotony by introducing "comedian" Greg Gutfeld. Gutfeld is a comedian in the same way Marshall Applewhite was a spiritual leader. Basically, though, the station is a reactionary echo chamber where hacks, ideologues, charlatans and humorless fanatics are interviewed and re-interviewed. Realistically, if you're looking for relatively unbiased news, you'd do well to avoid U.S. outlets entirely, and listen-to/watch the BBC instead. Or, worse comes to worst, NPR, or maybe PBS News Hour. Fox News is not news. It represents the degradation of journalism, the abnegation of empiricism and truth, the inversion of reality. That's probably why its ratings are so high, Good luck, America. I think you'll need it. read more

Fox Nation Subscription--Bait and Switch Scam--BEWARE Back in Apr 2020, I signed up for Fox Nation because of its pro-America content, and because it was advertised as a month by month contract which I could cancel any time. In mid October I noticed a strange $64.99 charge in my checking account. On investigation I learned that Fox Nation had switched me, without my consent, from a monthly service to an annual one. I cancelled the account that same day and contacted them for a refund. They answered with a smug-toned email, claiming that I had changed my subscription from monthly to annual on Oct 3, and that I was "not eligible for a refund". I responded that their record was incorrect, that I had made no such change to my subscription, and pressed them for a refund. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to them, they have not responded. I have since disputed the charge with my bank, which has temporarily restored my funds pending their own investigation. So beware, that Fox Nation monthly subscription, with its apparent reasonable price, is nothing but a sneaky, bait and switch marketing tactic to take from you an extra year of charges. Etc.. but why haven't you guys asked a simple question for instance, do we USA, have any law enforcement people investigating how the protesters begin. Do we have any people investigating where the signs and flags are coming from, so fast. Their quality is very good. When we find out where they are being produced one can use old time police pressure to find out who made them, and so on. Pressure needs to be on law enforcement to fix this. USA looking like fools. I watched FOX for 25 years every day but since the 2020 election I refuse to watch them. They are now like the other networks, very biased and opinionated.
