Juan is a very professional businessman and he's old school cuz he believes the customer is right and wants to do what they ask him to do. Meaning he wants you to be happy with the work that his company does for you. The job I hired them for initially was some fences we needed replaced. Three different locations on our property at a total of about 230 feet of fencing demoed and rebuild with gates and painted by his ace painter, Ivan. We're really happy with his professional acumen, flexibility and willingness to get our business and make sure we are happy with the results. We are taking more bids for him as we have a lot more fences and painting to do at our community. Give Elite a try, I promise they will do their best to suit your needs within your budget. Cheers!

I had reached out to several fence contractors, but Juan responded immediately and gave me the answer I was looking for, which was an honest one: he couldn't tell me how much the job would cost without seeing it in person. I respect that. Juan came out punctually the next morning to give me an estimate. He immediately pointed out a couple of reasons why our decrepit gate and fence was failing and offered two solutions that would ensure that the replacements were durable and functional. He offered fair pricing which included hauling away the old materials. Within a couple of hours he had emailed a professional and clear estimate. Two days later, Juan and his crew arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled to get started on our project. Each team member was very professional, clean, and fast- they worked together so quietly it almost seemed as if they had an unspoken way of communicating with each other. This was really appreciated since the work was being done just outside of our home office where my husband was on several meetings that morning. When the project was done, my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of the work and materials. Juan had called me an hour after his crew left to ensure that we were satisfied with the job. I got an estimate from him for some more work we need to get done in the future, we'll definitely hire him again! If you want a reliable, experienced, and professional contractor to build, fix, or repair your fence call Juan. Each step of the way he was great at communicating with me via text, email, and phone. It's always great to have a contractor I enjoy working with to add to my contacts.

There were some highs and lows in my experience with KVN, but with several months behind me to give…read moreme perspective, I believe I can write a review that will be helpful and fair. First are the things I did wrong: 1. I didn't get any other bids so I spent the entire project wondering if I was paying too much. 2. I didn't understand KVN is a contractor only - the trucks that come out to do the work are going to have different company names on them. That information is clearly stated in the contract but, related to #1, I didn't read the contract closely and missed it. So I spent most of the project wondering how much more I was paying to have someone act as a go-between with these other companies. 3. Because of #1 and #2, throughout the weeks it took to remove old siding, put up new siding, put up the gutters, and paint the house I was always on edge and quick to anger when something went wrong. Notable missteps by KVN: 1. There was some miscommunication about a small part of the house that they considered porch and I considered house. When we realized this, first day, I could see their position and asked how much it would cost to add that part. I had three different people tell me they'd get back to me with a cost - they never did. 2. Whoever they used for gutters had to take them down and install new ones twice - it was the third install that finally worked. KVN didn't catch the first errors (but maybe they would have if we hadn't checked first) but they did tell them to redo the 2nd install before we were even told it was done. 3. The painter painted the windows shut. We didn't know that until after everything was signed and paid, so we just fixed it ourselves. But the contractor is responsible for the work of the subs - so I'll call this their mistake. What KVN did right was they seemed to genuinely want me to be a happy customer. I didn't realize how much that mattered until a neighbor was having some work done and I saw first-hand the difference between having a contractor who is hoping to leave the customer happy (KVN) vs. one who just wants to get paid (the neighbor's). Made me think I was ready to write a review, I hope it was fair.

He was able to schedule a meeting for the next day to meet on site and discuss the project scope. While I do consider that a positive aspect that his business is heavily booked, I am waiting to move into my house until after the painting is completely so I needed a vendor who could start my projects fairly quickly. Although I selected another vendor for this project, I would absolutely reach out to Kaleb again in the future.

The flippers also didn't prep the siding properly so paint was bubbling/peeling/etc. We got many quotes, and about half said to replace the siding. We selected Prestige due to the knowledge and price. I did extensive research on them to validate that they do a good job, and went to see a job they had in progress to verify their workmanship. We worked with them to determine schedule, paint type, siding type, underlayment type, and water damage repair options/cost. They were very flexible with options and rightly adhered to workmanship which guaranteed warranty (vs my bad internet research suggestions on how to fix things). I'm very happy with their work and really appreciate the work they did. I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes just so you're educated on the method for fixing problems and the different types of materials and methods that people are using out there, then you're more capable of discussing fixes/options with the contractor that you select.

This is a disappointing review to write because I was initially really happy with them, and the…read moreexperience went downhill pretty quick. We used GM for both siding and exterior paint, at first they were extremely communicative, friendly, and the siding project itself seemed to go fine other than a few mishaps. With the siding, we loved how it looked but the work crew lacked professionalism. They left nails all over our yard, ripped bushes out of the ground on a carefully lined walkway, and pulled our front bushes down so aggressively they've never come back up and will have to be ripped out. The nails were a huge concern because we have a dog, and had we run one over with a mower that could have been dangerous for us as well. Months later we are still finding them. The contractors did compensate us for the bush they trampled. On to the paint. The painting contractors were awful from start to (never really) finished. They were unprofessional, left things in our trees and bushes, left garbage around our house and yard, trampled the bushes we had just replaced from the contractors (we weren't reimbursed this time), moved our fence post to a crooked location that we can't fix. Beyond that, we had a dark gray color with white trim, if you've ever painted over a dark color with white you know you have to have MANY coats to not have seep through of the darker color. For some reason, they painted all of it the dark color and then went over the trim with white, so in many areas you can see the bleed through of the gray. It looks tacky and like we DIY'd it. Additionally, we asked for the garage to be painted white and they painted it dark gray like the house.. when we asked them to fix it, they didn't open it to paint so as soon as we opened the garage it cracked on the bending panel and the insulation came out. I got in contact with the contractors right away and Kara said she would send someone out. She didn't, and that was now almost 3 months ago and they've completely ghosted us with a broken garage. They've also left their porta potty in front of our house this entire time (3 months and counting). Our neighbors across the street also hired them for siding and paint and they've also completely ghosted them for the paint. We initially would have recommended them but they ended up screwing us over so I'd go anywhere else.

We also wanted out house painted after installation and Clear Choice set that up for us as well. (See my review for Triple A Painting). What we loved most about dealing with Clear Choice Windows & Doors was the personalized service we received. They have a large selection of window frame materials to choose from and our choice of fiberglass was an easy one. It was explained to us that fiberglass windows are stronger than both vinyl and wood, making them incredibly resilient to weather and climate -- perfect for PNW homeowners. From start to finish, our team of window installers provided friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and it took only two days to install the 10 new windows in our home. Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. We can feel a definite difference in the inside temperature of our house since the new windows were installed. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. The outside look is classy and fits well with the style of our house and the neighborhood. We highly recommend Clear Choice Windows & Doors if you're looking for new windows.
