I requested a quote from a different Nationwide broker and got a better quote. Nationwide is Nationwide, the policy quote from different brokers should be fairly the same. I called Bonita back and explained what I had discovered. Initially she gave me some push back about researching for a better quote. After a little back and forward, Bonita presented an insurance quote that made us happy. In one instance, after a hail storm in our area, I called our homeowner's policy to check on our coverage. Much later I found out that the operator wrote it up as a claim on our policy. But I never made any claim and had no repairs made. Thankfully, Templeton Insurance Agency was very helpful when I called them. I should have called them in the first Place!

In November, 2022 I decided to switch carriers and called Christy to cancel my current policy on the renewal date. I signed a document she required and sent it the next day. She never cancelled it. I kept receiving bills and letters from the old insurance. Good thing I called my mortgagee to make sure they don't accidentally honor a payment request and mess up my escrow. This agency only cares about you until they receive the referral payment and not a second after that.

Initially we had a great conversation about the quote and was told I would get it in about a day or so. It never came. So I tried calling for another quote on another house and again had a great conversation about the policy I needed. The quote never came. I tried calling and leaving two voice mails then emailed them but have gotten no response whatsoever. I'm closing and need insurance before I get the clear to close and nothing from them. It started out good but then fell apart when I needed them. I won't be doing business with them again.
