I attended as a guest of the family and left deeply moved by the care, dignity, and warmth surrounding the entire service. Center of Hope felt like a church family in the fullest sense--a community embracing a family in its grief. The service was beautifully organized, visually lovely, and welcoming. Even in a somber moment, there was room for joy, remembrance, and a heartfelt celebration of a life well lived. What stayed with me was how all those elements came together to make people feel cared for. When a family is grieving, that kind of thoughtful attention matters. It creates space for loved ones to be present, comfort one another, and honor the person they have lost. I have not yet had to arrange a memorial or burial in the Bay Area, but after witnessing this service, I would not hesitate to entrust C.P. Bannon Mortuary with the care of my own family. That is the strongest compliment I can give. Also, I am pointing out that since I knew the name but haven't used the services was told they are under NEW MANAGEMENT. Went to front office to inquire, was told they had no record of a headstone being ordered. They had the grounds keeper take me to the site--it was the unmarked space I was at.

Accompanying me was my daughter and one of my high school classmates, Dora, to discuss what type of service I wanted for my husband with Paul. Paul is an excellent funeral director who is not only helpful but also compassionate, empathetic and so understanding. I couldn't ask for anybody than him to handle the arrangement. I find he is approachable and personable; truly a great listener. This chapel is located on the corner of High and Walnut Streets. There is a parking lot for the attendees of a funeral.

Paul is very direct, but also super knowledgeable and will do everything he can to make this process as smooth as possible. He's familiar with all the traditional funerals, even more than us, so we trusted him with a lot. He delivered and made sure we had everything we needed. Burying loved ones has to be the most challenging and agonizing part of anyone's life & having a reputable chapel like Colonial makes it a little less stressful. Everything was perfect. They did a wonderful job with the dressing, makeup, floral set up and all. I appreciate Colonial. The only thing I would say is the funeral home is dated, but it's been around for ages.

I remembered the general vicinity where he was buried but not the exact location, so I had to search for and locate his grave myself and then inform the office. What made the experience even more upsetting was the interaction with the front office staff member. I was questioned about my own brother's name in a manner that felt dismissive and as though I did not know who I was there to visit. The lack of compassion and sensitivity was especially disappointing given the nature of the visit. Rollin Hills, please do better when it comes to maintaining accurate records and providing compassionate customer service. Visiting a cemetery is not a casual experience,it is often a time of grief, remembrance, and sorrow. Families deserve to be treated with patience, understanding, and respect during these difficult moments.
