Excellent and honest place. We were from out of town and gave us suggestions on fixing our boat. Even gave us pointers on fishing area.

After multiple calls, emails...over multiple months and speaking to everyone from the salesman, parts guy, perky chips, and the manager I finally recíeved plates and title arrived today November 14, 2020. Absolutely Worthless Boat Dealer. Want The Runaround? Enjoy dealing with people that Love Sitting on their Thumb? Well then, Tracker Marine in Tyler Texas is the place for you.

The buying experience was fine and pontoon was prepped and delivered in a timely manner. I paid cash for the boat and the cost of sales tax and registration fees. I was provided temporary tags for pontoon and trailer good for 90 days and was assured that they would call me when the permanent tags were available. After 100 days I called them about the tags. I was told that the dealership had past management problems and had not gotten the paperwork done. I talked to the new manager and he told me he would get everything done and in the meantime he would issue more temporary tags. I drove to the dealership and picked up the second set of temporary tags. The new manager assured me that the tags would be available within a few days. He contacted me about 10 days later and told me they had been mailed. After waiting 5 days I called him find out where the tags were. 2 days later I received the tags for the boat only. No trailer tags. I called the manager again and no answer. I left a voice message. No reply. I called him the following day and he answered. His excuse was that the tax office is backed up and they are waiting on them to issue the license plates. This is a bunch of crap in my opinion. Now over a week later I still have no plates for the trailer. DO NOT BUY anything from this bunch. I'm contacting the DVM in Austin to help me get this resolved.

So I brought them in to their service area and spoke to the lady at the window and asked if she new how long it would be before we might get an idea as to what's wrong with the two waverunners and get an estimate, she said it would be a couple weeks because they are pretty backed up this time of year, I said know problem just call me so I know the cost. To my surprise I received a call the next day saying that both of my machines needed a carb job and that each machine would be $1000, but they would not work on them because they could not get the parts and that its just too difficult to work on waverunners 18 years old. So they charged me $150 bucks for refusing to work on my machines. Here is the disappointing piece to this, I took these to machines to another shop, the carbs are fine..... What they found was that in both machines when the batteries went dead they both re-set to the factory settings to beginner rider and that is why they would not accelerate!!!! They also said they can get carbs for those models no problem for $60... You guys are hucksters, plane and simple!!! I'm going to let everyone around Cypress and Bob Sandlin Lakes know not to buy new, or used or get work done from you. I was thinking we might buy our pontoon from Momentum, but no chance now. Your mechanic didn't even look at my machines and obviously you don't work on older waverunners as you told me over the phone, your just trying to sell new ones. GOOD LUCK with this customer service. I hope the owner or investment group that has this place will read this. Very unhappy.
