IYKYK. Other than that, my friends and I are coming back. It has SO many activities for family's (in North location). The customer service also treated me and my friends like family. So much kindness and patience with city people. We cooked all of our own food, so I have not opinion on the food that maybe supplied onsite, but the cabins, go try them out.

Staff is kind but I have given this place 3 chances food wise and I do not think I will be back. For portion sizes and quality I would say it's overpriced. Also just down right disappointed in the food each time. Want a grilled cheese? Don't bother. They can't even let the cheese melt to the bread. It looks like two pieces of toast with a slice of cheese in the middle, and if you open the "sandwich" the cheese will fall right off. Supreme nachos? Not bad but I've had better at a hs concession stand. Side of ranch is .75 and comes in the smallest container and it came out either fully frozen or partially frozen on two occasions. Fries have come out cold multiple times. The queso tastes good but for the price the portion sizes suck. I have come in on a slow day, a medium ish day and a busy day, and EACH time the food takes 40+ minutes to come out and they blame it on them being busy. That excuse might work for the busy night, but you cannot you being busy as the excuse for the poor quality of food and timely service on the other two. At this point a food inspector needs to come by and ensure they are storing food properly and cooking the food to its proper temperature/ keeping it in a warming area before someone gets sick for the lack of consistency. If you're okay with food microwaved to be reheated and overpaying then this place is okay, but it could be better.

Allow us to clarify the incident regarding the restroom. The report of an unsafe restroom was not accurate. The person who reported it was a guest's daughter, and her boyfriend was simply trying to locate her in the restroom.

The service really went above and beyond with Johnny though. I didn't park my RV very well, which left our stairs about two feet off the ground. I asked Johnny for a block or something. He cane back with stairs! And he was willing to regrade the ground to make sure there wasn't any wobble. I tried to pay him something for his help. He just asked us to have a hood time. After about a week two men came, picked up my boat and took it in. After not hearing anything for three weeks, I called and was told they were waiting on parts. The following week (2 days shy of FOUR weeks) I drove in and talked with them directly. Brandon told me he would call me. Later that day, Brandon called me to give me a quote. He gave me a figure of over $1,900! I told him that all I wanted was a tune up and to have the lower unit grease changed. Two years earlier Nautical Mile repaired my outboard motor and charged me $900. I haven't taken it out but five times since then and it runs fine. I told him that I wouldn't pay anything like that and that I would pick it up myself. He told me the cost would be $225. "For what?" I asked. "For picking the boat up and diagnostics." They have a good assortment of kayaks available. We do not own our own kayaks or have a truck, so this gives us more freedom to enjoy nature from the water. The owner is very friendly and helpful. (It's not hard, I just accidentally managed to book the wrong day!?) The boat is as nice and in good working order and clean. They supplied all life jackets we needed and a big tube to drag people around and a full tank of gas. Brittany was very thorough and explained all of the parts of the lake, what to watch out for and great instructions for driving the pontoon. We had so much fun and the lake was not busy at all. What a fun day! If you're going to Cedar Creek Lake I'd surely recommend you rent a boat from this place. Great folks, very responsive and helpful!
