It's usually not packed with the course layout so it flows pretty nicely, that helps with the disc traffic as well. It offers everything from open spaces to thickets of trees. :-) Around hole 1 is a public park, pond (open for catch and release fishing), waterpark, baseball field, and often you'll see someone having a photoshoot with the beautiful surroundings. So watch out for goobers walking across your path when throwing your disc...but other than that you're great! I definitely recommend at least trying this course once...you'll be hooked...chiggers or not...rofl!

If you are seeking quiet and serenity and all the nature views come here. Lots of options as well in the area if you are looking to hike or run. It was peaceful, a little bit of a terrain but still well maintained. We saw several walkers and trail runners along the way. Very safe for kids too. But the back portion crossed through a disc golf field and then onto part of the SFA campus and just wasn't as pretty to go through. Great trail running place, and definitely a trail or recommend walking if you're wanting to see Pine Country, but I probably would stop before the disc golf area and head back.

Then, we visited the recently renovated children's playground that has a large playground structure, swings, a zipline, and a warped wall. There are also at least two bathrooms located throughout the park- always a plus. Oh, and there's also two dog parks and a swimming pool, plus ample parking. If you're looking for a fun place to take your kid or go for a walk or run, this is a great spot. It gets quite crowded in the summer, but hey, it's popular for a reason.
