This is such a safe space and the people who work there are so helpful and knowledgeable. I'm grateful that this was my first experience with the community, I was never embarrassed or felt uncomfortable asking questions or about reviews. I felt safe, it was clean and brightly lit , comfortable, and still years later rave about this place!! It's HUGE and has the best inventory. You can find anything or ask the workers and they will find it for you. Yes the entrance and area and initial entrance room makes you think twice but then you open to door to a literal candy store. Wall to wall top to bottom three of everything you can think of. Best example of don't judge a book by its cover

When you are at Cedar Creek Lake, your clothing store options are basically a couple of places…read more There is no Target, no real mall nearby, and half of the clothing options are resale shops. I rather like this. However, growing up, my parents seemed to think that the place to go was Factory Connection. First let me say, I have mad respect for FC. In 2006 my parents gave me a $200 gift card to this store. Initially, I was a bit disappointed. While they are scattered about East Texas (basically exclusively), I lived in Denton at the time. I figured I would never use it. Fast Forward to 2014. I still had not used it. It was a printed receipt with a balance of $200. Over the years it had faded a bit. Also, FC had switched systems. Now it was all electronic. Despite this (it had no expiration date) the manager went above and beyond and got me my $200 credit. I will never forget it. They carry many brands that you cannot get out there (and honestly, may not want to - hence the minus 1 star) like Flypaper, Affliction, American Eagle, Polo, a bunch of paisley "Southern" brands I recognize and even had some of my favorite, Penguin. Though very little of it had the athletic/slim fit I needed. I did snag one shirt. The store is small and full. Summer was a great associate. The items are pretty deeply discounted. If you like the style of things they sell, certainly worth checking out.

As I found out because I called my insurance company to request this a refund I had to pay out of pocket to get new glasses. Prior to getting new glasses I called my insurance to make sure I knew exactly what my budget was and make sure when I went to pick out new glasses I stayed within my budget. My surprise when the worker told me that would be $30 that my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked her what it was it for she really couldn't give me an clear answer of why I was being charged $30 out of pocket. Instead of fighting with her because from the instant I walked in I noticed she had an attitude and was very rude not just to me but the other customers so I decided I would just take it up with my insurance company. Call my insurance company let them know what was going on and thought maybe the worker I spoke to prior gave me the wrong information. Nope my insurance company informed me that I was well within my budget and I should not have been charged $30 out of pocket. They asked me to email me a copy of my receipt which I did and that's what I found out that they were trying to scan my insurance company out of money because the amount that they claimed my glasses cost and the amount that was actually on the receipt was off by a couple hundred dollars.
