The assistant manager get's to talk to the employee's how ever she wants to. I witnessed her first hand call an employee by the way who is a veteran a piece of shit. She also told him he stank and he need to put on deodorant loudly and out on the sales floor instead of taking him in the office to have a private conversation with him. The manager rolls her eyes at him and gets short with him. I had a discussion with the manager about the assistant managers behavior and all she said was shes a good person. I reported the neglectful behavior to the higher ups and nothing changed. Not only do the mangers treat certain employees bad they also tell the employees business as well as talk trash about customers and tell there business as well. On top of all that I witnessed firsthand twice the assistant manager give her weed dealers phone number to customers while on the clock in the store. They tell the employees they are not to have there phones on them but they use there smart watches to talk to and text while on the clock. These managers do not set a good example or set a good work environment. Tobacco Junction in Lindale can't keep employees but the hire ups just turn a blind eye.

We kept quiet still and began to browse but I swear this man was so lazy and unhelpful that we both were beginning to get extremely irritated but still kept a smile and nice mannerisms. I started to ask for the manager but we just decided to high tail it outta there before something happened and we got busted right along with this man by guilty by association. Don't ever go there it's not worth the risk nor the TERRIBLE service!!!!!!!!! I don't understand how they stay in business really. Are they all like this? I've seen them in allot of places around tx. Why is customer service so damn terrible these days.

PUMPKIN PATCH (2023)…read more Found this little local gem on Yelp. The reviews were older, but we were in the area so we took a gamble and drove over (2023) for the pumpkin patch. For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular. The kids on our tour ride seem to enjoy it :P If you're looking to spend about 40 mins or less at a pumpkin patch, this is the place to go!

She has clear signs before you enter the property to make sure everyone is safe. I love it maybe because I'm a big "sign" person. Haha This is NOT a Zoo, please don't chase her animals & respect her simple & basic rules for not doing so. Just like you want people to respect your own house rules & you don't want people squeezing & chasing your children (well, at least I don't). Pets are not allowed inside so they don't try to chase/fight/eat her chickens for instance. My dog would love to do that, but he didn't as he was kept in the car & enjoyed the beautiful country view from there. :) This is a very stylish country place with a lot love, time & energy spent into it. Once you enter the mansion, you are welcomed to a whole new world of indoor boutique shopping, canvassed in Holiday decor of the Fall and Winter seasons. You have clothing, tapestries, lotions, candles, soaps, furniture, paintings, chocolates, leatherwork, Knick knacks until your heart is content... they have it all which is backdropped with the interior elegance and beauty of the Mansion. I would love to learn more of the history of this place, but for now, I'll let my imagination run wild as to what this place once used to be. Outside, plenty of seating areas and tables, edged by plenty of activities such as football toss in the holes, for hole boards, and a gigantic connect four set up. Fire pits glowing of embers, a stage with live Holiday cheer playing in the background, with several food trucks parked along the edge. We shopped, relaxed, took some photo ops, ate, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. If you're looking for something unique, this is it. Completely worth the drive out here, as the staff was more than hospitable... offering rides to and fro to vehicle parking or serving up a piping hot Americano. We had ordered the Brisket Mac & Cheese w/ jalapeños, as well as, the Mexican brisket street corn.... Absolutely worth the wait!! We also coupled that with a side of fried pimento cheese balls.... They had me submit a photo of my unopened item. They sent extensive customer guidelines in order to get a refund processed and they charge a RESTOCKING fee which I was not aware of. With so many options for places to shop, I would proceed with caution. I have not gotten my refund yet and the customer service person said "you should get an email from us when the refund is processed". That did not sound too convincing! I think they expect more from their customers than their customers can expect from them!
