On 8/25 I went in there to purchase some cigars and noticed a box of cigars that had been discounted to 50% off. When I took it the register it rang up $125.00. I asked the clerk, how many cigars are in there because the box did not say. She responded by telling me there were 20 cigars in the box. For reference, I usually buy a box of Gallo Pinto's by Rojas (20 total) for $115 at Rigsby's in Paris Tx. When I got home and opened the box, there were only 10 cigars in there! When I tried to return it, they wouldn't give me my money back because it was a 'sale item'. Even when I tried to explain that it was a mistake on their part, they refused to give me money back. Fair enough, if you want to cheat me over $100 because your clerk made an honest mistake, then I'll stop doing business with you. Just an FYI, if you had given me a refund it would have been no problem to just go in there and get something else. Instead, you wanted to give me a credit. BAD Business decision by someone who doesn't value their customers!

If they were carding me and stored it, they store it without my knowledge. Rule number one for business, don't add unnecessary complications to the customer. But I'm sure most won't care. But I do. and there are plenty of other options online and local that don't need private data.

I always see them referring to customers by name, having befriended them. It's not just me that they are kind to, it is everyone who walks in their doors. What a fantastic experience when you're sick and really need help- this pharmacy comes through for you and doesn't just dispense medication, they love their patients and customers. ***Also they sell tons of medical supplies and various items for gifts and tons of awesome greeting cards for purchase as well. I think they had some 'magic wands'. I was surprised that the descriptions on their mason jars of herbs were all for 'witchery,' with not a single mention of their medicinal effects. Stuff like, 'Carry with you to keep animals away,' on the mullein, but nothing about it helping your wheezing stop. I didn't see any books on metaphysics or philosophy, or nonduality or meditation or anything. Just on crystals, and maybe on 'witchery'. The whole place absolutely reeks of incense - like a super strong, artificially-scented soap, that actually leaves a nasty taste in your mouth within seconds, and an odor on your clothes that takes hours to dispel. I was very aware that the woman staff member was watching me the entire time I was there; which made me feel super awkward and not like ever going back. I guess they must have a lot of thieves or something. The guy shopkeep seemed a bit more laid-back.
