Nautical and NOT Nice!!! An absolute disgrace this store, I'm even disappointed in myself that I walked around the store to browse and for what, I don't know. I definitely wouldn't spend one red cent in that establishment. The SUV we walked by to enter the store had basically every window chalked up with Trump propaganda, but I thought, it was a patrons vehicle, but what a shock to walk through the store and see around every bend the rantings of a zealot!!! Distasteful/Disgraceful, as an African American, I did not feel welcome there and I will never return to that store again. read more

Big store with lots of cool stuff with decent prices. Good for decorating a house or apartment and for finding gifts.

I've shopped here a few times and even though 99% is Made in China Crap, I've found a few things. I took a skirt back that absolutely self destructed the first time I wore it, that I had purchased just before all the closings. I was walking in front of my boyfriend and it started falling apart at the seams... talk about embarrassing! They wouldn't give me my money back only a store credit.... I think that BS! Arrived at the shop about 20 minutes before closing, unaware that they closed at 5:30 PM. Owner was rude, immediately informing me that they were closing instead of welcoming me as a new customer and allowing me and the few remaining shoppers to spend their money. They had a lot of beach themed merchandise that I would have purchased but ended up leaving with a single $8 item as I was rushed out of the store. I had to ask for a bag to place my purchase in. Had no idea what their political view was as mentioned in earlier reviews as I was too rushed. I'm a big supporter of small business but won't spend another dime in a store that doesn't appreciate me as a customer and the hard earned money that I was about to spend in their store. The day before I spent $1,200 in Sunrise Surf Shop in Jenson Beach whose owner was very grateful for my patronage. read more

This shop is so adorable. Its filled with beach themed décor and gifts, and cute souvenirs as well. They are obviously very pro America and pro 2nd amendment. It is so sad to see people writing poor reviews simply because of the owners political preference. Apparently the right to free speech isn't honored with many. I originally stopped in here on the way home from a mini-vaca nearby. I loved the décor. It is chocked full of touristy knick-knacks, signage, sea shells and the like. They also have a few choice nautical antiques scattered throughout. I bought a hunk of huge old chain that was out back and kind of forgotten about. I even returned a few weeks later to buy another piece. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Something we don't see further south in Broward and especially Dade counties! read more

Not sure why political views is even a consideration when going nautical shopping. We found this store on our vacation here and thought it had some good finds. For those considering shopping here, come see for yourself and don't base your decision on someone who was offended by an America First sign. Frankly, she probably is better off spending her "dollar" at the dollar store. read more

I LOVE this store! A charming collection of eclectic goods/gifts to choose from. Every year we visit I come to browse and buy gifts for my grandchildren. The ladies that work there are very friendly, helpful and polite. They even let me choose from brand new items that hadn't even been priced yet! I really loved this place in the late 70s and early 80s. I actually had a hermit crab collection and a few other items from Nautical But Nice. The woman who owned it back then was so charming with the most unusual laugh. We felt comfortable there back then. Now that I am living back in Stuart after moving away for many years, I was shocked to see the (very large) Pro-Trump messages at the entry of the store. Being greeted by a life-sized Donald Trump and a large sign saying "BUILD THE WALL" disgusted me. I am married to an immigrant from Central America, whom I brought into the shop about 2 years ago when visiting the flea market. We would not have gone in to see the overpriced, imported items (almost all from China) if we had seen their political messages at the time. So much for buying American... Needless to say, I will not go to this store again and will try to deter any of my guests and family from shopping there. read more

We discovered this store about 25 years ago when my family first visited Florida when I was a kid. It's a small, charming, touristy gift shop. Since having lived here all these years- we would take friends, relatives and other visitors to this store to pick up some souvenirs. Always had such good memories here. I hadn't been in a while until one day I stopped by after going to the flea market. I was shocked to see the Trump rhetoric all over the outside and inside of this business (including merchandise, signs, etc) Nothing like I remembered. Nothing about that environment took me back to the fun, happy, beachy feel that I remembered. I wouldn't even say I was offended- just really shocked. The huge 'build the wall' sign outside of the store was very welcoming (not). Needless to say, I won't be returning here again. Not my kind of place. The friend I was with even noticed the irony of the pro American message (which I support) but most of the merchandise is not even American made. read more

This place is so cool. The have everything from jewelry to pillows, from beach cover-ups to dinner napkins and even hermit crabs... all in a cool nautical theme. We come here for gifts, souvenirs, and practical home decor as the prices are insanely low. if you're missing that "one special piece" for your beach theme, check this place out! If you're out with the kids, this is a must-see!! Stop in and get them a hermit crab, or simply sight-see and get your picture taken with the big shark out front! It's a very fun place :) read more

I used to like this place. They carry all sorts of unique coastal decor items. We've bought a lot of things here, including a very expensive sea turtle lamp. All the extreme right political signs and warnings were off-putting, but I was able to put on blinders. During our last visit however, we were completely turned off by the ramped up nature of the rantings. Huge America First and Build the Wall signs greet you along with several other obnoxious warnings about how they say Merry Christmas, support the troops and fly the flag high. Do they think their more Democratic customers don't do these things? There were also signs supporting the NRA and a life size cut-out of DJT. It doesn't seem to be a great business practice to be openly hostile to more than half the country who don't share your views. Good luck with that! MAGA! The out of town visitors we brought with us were appalled. We're never going back. There are similar stores in Jupiter and Jensen Beach, shop them instead. read more

I never write reviews...but how I was treated today has forced me to say something. Only if I knew I was walking into a Hornet's Nest. I knew nothing of this business, the wall, the owners or their beliefs. But was offended by a hand written sign with made-up information on the back door and just wanted to ask the owner if he knew he was offending people? He yelled at me and was very aggressive at me about why HE was offended!!!!!! I could not get an word in edgewise as he was missing my point! I do not care what his beliefs are, but do not want them shoved in my face as I shop in his business, so therefore he is losing business. Nor do I want to be aggressively yelled at in my face...was having a nice day of shopping at the flea market and decided to check out this store with the cute name...but the owner of that place is NOTHING close to nice! If he has or had loss in sales...it is not because of the political or economic situation...it is because of him and him alone! read more
