There is something about waiting in line while watching 2 employees joke and laugh without helping. Several folks put down their items and left. I am glad that someone was having fun.... Believe me; it wasn't the folks waiting to be checked out. My blood pressure will not allow me to go back. Additionally, I was rude to the poor lady working hard to check out customers. Being scent sensitive it was a little overwhelming for me but I made due because I wanted to check out their wall of tiny rubber duckies as well as the other products they offered. Or work with the owner and head designer Andrea to put together the perfect custom piece. And this shop offers design services without crazy high design firm fees! I wish I found this shop before spending $8k in design fees alone for a single room at a "full service design firm. And ask about their in home consultations for larger projects. I originally found this store on Facebook when they were hosting an event, and I've now visited…read moretwice. Both times, the inventory was completely different, which makes every visit feel like a new experience. What makes this place so unique is that all of the merchandise comes from local businesses. You'll find everything from cake pops, juices, ice cream, and fish dip to jewelry, hats, and a small selection of clothing. On my most recent visit, I picked up cooking oils, organic coffee, sourdough bread, and a few other goodies. Just keep in mind--it's a bit hit or miss depending on when you go, since the vendors and products rotate. That's part of the charm, though. The last time I visited was in December, and since then they've had a grand reopening with a new owner, which is exciting. Overall, I think this is an amazing concept--basically like 100 small businesses sharing one space, each with their own little section. It's a great way to support local vendors while discovering new products you wouldn't normally come across. I'll definitely keep coming back to see what new items pop up on the shelves.
