I am so excited to return for another fresh bowl with the overall amazing ambiance and quick service ! I want to try every flavor combination on the menu! I loved seeing them assemble the bowl and add the fresh made peanut butter on top! When I walked in I asked if I could do a build your own bowl and looked at the ingredients list-- so many fresh things to choose from! the bases were delicious-- I loved the vanilla chia seed pudding and the pitaya the most. The sunrise bowl at Nautical Bowls is such a bad habit of mine. It's always so fresh and delicious (this bowl comes with bananas, strawberries, granola and my fav, drizzled honey!) My husband was a little disappointed not to see his go-to smoothie on the menu, but we did notice this location is a test kitchen and they're trying out some new flavors. Had we not seen that sign, I think we both would have been confused, since no one mentioned the menu changes when we asked about it. However I was expecting something a bit more on the healthy side though, like a base made from fresh blended fruits as I've had at other businesses. This one was more like frozen yogurt or ice cream base, which wasn't quite what I expected. It wasn't bad at all--just not what I was hoping for and I only ate half to fill the need. This is our go-to nautical bowls location! We've tried the other in MG and while it was good, we've started slowly finding ourselves visiting this location more frequently based on the extremely convenient location, plenty of parking and excellent customer service. Nautical bowls are delicious and the variety of bases and toppings makes the combinations seemingly endless. My absolute fave is the sunset bowl with the Nauti bowl being a favorite of my kids. The fresh ground peanut butter is delicious! Portions are generous and they overflow with toppings. Staff is always friendly, with the actual owners often being onsite and making bowls. This site is invested in the community as well. They partner with other local companies for giveaways and sponsor events like Taste of Maple Grove and youth sports teams fundraising. I have tried almost all of the Nautical Bowl options and they are all amazing. My favorites are the Nauti Bowl and the Surf Bowl, but the Big Island Is a great way to try a bunch of different bases. You can build your own bowl as well. This is a good option if you only want a few toppings. This location is my go to for açaí bowls in Maple Grove. They load the bowls up and the "dinghy" (small) size is the perfect amount. I have ordered bowls to take home and save for later, but haven't figured out a great way to keep them frozen but thawed enough to eat easily..especially the peanut butter and chia. They are still good a few days later, but harder ;) to eat. read more

I wasn't sure what type of food this place had so I was nearby eating lunch and thought I'd stop over and see what they had! Tried the paddle boat I think and it was very good and refreshing. I would highly recommend this place for change to traditional dessert. Although they have some listed as a meal it seems more like a dessert but better for you. I was so excited to see a new location opened up!! I love Nautical Bowl, and though I'm not a fan of the prices, it's a great treat to splurge on every now and again! Ordered online, paid $1 for every topping (no more 3 free), I didn't see my favorite cinnamon granola so I chose the only one available which was a honey oat. I settled on blue majik, acai, pitaya for the bases. My sister went and picked them up so I could stay home with my baby, and said everything was smooth with picking up! They were ready when she got there and it was a quick process. I was bummed to see there was no pitaya in mine, as it's my favorite base, and these bowls aren't cheap. But other than that, everything was really fresh and tasted great. Will definitely return as I really do love the concept and it always tastes so great, but will take more time fo ensure it's right before leaving! read more

I cannot tell you how excited I am that a Nautical Bowl location opened near where I live in Maple Grove. I used to go to the Minnetonka location when I loved over there but haven't since moving to Maple Grove. Now since this is opened I can once again have this great treat! Location: This Nautical Bowl is located down the road from Arbor Lakes near the Cub, Kohls, and Star Bucks. It is a very easy location to access since it is in its own strip but parking is not easy. The two times I have been there has been no parking by the store and I have to park by the Star Bucks and walk to the entrance. Once inside the store is small but has everything you need. There's room to order, places to sit, and was very clean when I have been there. I love the ocean themed paintings on the wall and the color scheme really brings you to the beach. The whole location is well kept, well designed, well decorated, and is a great place to visit! Employees: Every time I have been here I have been greeted by friendly faces and great customer service. My order has always been right and I feel like the employees are actually listening to me and want to get my order right. I also had a nice gentleman that made my order who thanked me for coming and talked to me while he prepared my order. It really makes you feel like they are happy that you are there and that does go a long way. Food: If you have been to Nautical Bowl before you know what you are getting into. If not they specialize in Acai bowls, and other flavors, that have nutritional add ons for and extra boost. I always get the same thing but evey time I have got it I have not been dissatisfied. I do the acai, and pitaya base with granola, strawberries, goji berries, and cocoa nibs. The bases have always been tasty, creamy, and down right delicious! The berries were also in great shape and didn't seem out of season. I definitely will be going back to try more at another time! Overall: Nautical Bowls is delicious and I am so glad it is making its way up. The biggest downside is that it is on the expensive side. Especially since the the new way they price things. You use to get 3 toppings for free and the bases were cheaper. Because of this we don't go as often as we would like but it does make a great treat when you are looking for it. These bowls are pure deliciousness although I did not know what a many of the ingredients were the staff was happy to explain them to me and recommend one that I thoroughly enjoyed! Lots of options for toppings including oats, fresh fruits, honey, etc. ambiance is basic store front. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I would not recommend visiting the Maple Grove location. My visit experience was quite poor. They made me the wrong bowls and then denied they made an error and made me take the wrong items. Very disappointing to be treated so poorly, plus I tipped them. Will never visit here again. read more
