The faint, weak blue glow under 365nm light indicates another mineral involved but not uranium. I took photos with an actual uranium glass bracelet to highlight the difference. I suspect the vendor knew it wasn't uranium glass and this product will now be sold in the vendors retail store. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

As it turned out, one of the stones I was looking for was a very tricky find given the specs I was after, and I'm so grateful for how much patience Christine had for the sourcing process. She even sent us options from a gem show that she attended in-person, and was generally so understanding and kind throughout the process. I loved getting to see the final-contender stones in person, and the finished ring turned out even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Excellent craftsmanship and it's truly exactly what I was hoping for and more! How often does that happen in life? Very grateful to Christine and her team, and already dreaming up another custom project to work on with Stórica.

We had an awful…read moreexperience previously with another business in Bellevue, so we were not sure what to expect, but our experience at Storica was quite different. The shop is beautiful, the selection was lovely and the service was great. It was exactly what we were looking for! Now, I have to say that we did not book ahead, we just dropped in, which I recommend doing. We had previously made the huge mistake of scheduling an appointment with the other place in Bellevue (which requires a credit card), so when we decided we didn't want to purchase anything, we got charged $25 (for looking at their bracelet selection for like 5 mins!), which felt very predatory. I've noticed that permanent jewelry places often require some type of deposit, which is completely ridiculous. I am not sure whether Storica has the same policy, but since we just dropped in, it wasn't an issue at all. Their jewelry is beautiful and it wasn't hard to find something we both loved. I totally recommend this place and will be back if I decide to get something else.

One of the widest and most diverse selections I have cone across with elegant and powerful pieces. The music and the floor (look down) help create great ambiance as you browse and shop. Sofia and Em are an amazing team of consultants as you thoughtfully consider the best "new friends" to bring home. They are uniquely gifted with clairaudient capacities (meaning they "hear" the frequencies of the crystalline energies...yes, it's a real thing). And if we're going to buy a crystal, don't we want to buy one from someone who might be able to "speak" crystalline? Something to think about. Em has the gift of hospitality and shares it graciously with everyone that walks in. Sofie has fashioned some of the jewelry pieces in the shop. She has an exceptional sense for shapes, as she knows how they want to present themselves. I picked up a beautiful (and rare) highly evolved Lepidolite piece ($30) and a deep Jade pendant ($44) as well as a lightly scented rose oil ($26). I returned later for a champagne shaded Moonstone sphere with a blue iridescence ($48) and Shungite and Lapis Lazuli bracelets to gift. Perfect place for gifts. They have outstanding design sense and their black boxes and bags are decorated beautifully with old school sealing wax that is hot pink or gold and dusted with gold. It's a truly a pleasure to gift something from their store. The recipients feel it is special from the moment they lay eyes on the packaging.
