Nature Republic Flushing - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Flushing, New York

I love their products and but of course there is a but in there. Products seem to discontinue too often for me. after when u ask the employees when it will be re-stocked, they reply back with a I don't know it's been discontinued for a while and they frown at u like where have U been?! I tried calling the manhattan locations too. Fiat of all the 32st one has a phone number on google that does t work. The 14rh st one, they don't pick up. Alrighty then. 14th st store is the best location in terms of friendly and helpful sales ladies. I end up buying a lot when that is the case! Hint hint flushing location! read more

The eyeliner is 11.99 but they charge me 14.99. They said the price is wrong. And the attitude is sooo bad. I don't want go to this store anymore read more

Visited this shop last weekend when we were out tasting allll the Asian food in Queens. I went into a few other shops hoping to find some inexpensive Korean face masks, but was having zero luck. On my way back to the car, I spotted this place and decided to go inside. First off, we had several workers offer to help, but in a completely noninvasive type of way. I ended up talking to a girl named Yumi who answered all of my questions. If you are looking for inexpensive face masks, do yourself a favor and drop in. They have them all over the shop at different price points. I grabbed a few that were $2.90 a pop and splurged on a nicer one too. What I really regret is that I didn't take advantage of their 10 + 10 section (fixing this hopefully this weekend). You can get twenty masks (that's right... TWENTY) for $20! They come in either packs of 20 or you can match 2 packs of 10 to have a variety! I stupidly thought it must be too good to be true, so I just snagged a few random ones, but they were amazing, so obviously I failed myself and my face. Anyways, treat yo skin and yo wallet to some hella reasonably priced masks next time you're in Queens! read more

Best makeup and skincare. They definitely are good for your skin and you can see and feel the difference. Great value too. Love all their products the eyeshadows, eyebrows pens , cushions, hair products, masks and cleansing are so worth it and better than any of the drugstore brands read more

This store is great for all skin care needs! Michelle X helped me figure out just what I needed for my acne scars and Vivian was also super helpful at the register. I highly recommend this store for anyone who has troublesome skin problems, the staff will definitely help you with any questions you have. And don't be put off by snail-based skin care products! They work really well for hydrating, which is good. Thank you so much Michelle X. and Vivian! You guys rock! read more

Walking into this Nature Republic, it was a bit crowded but not overwhelming. I was assisted by Jenny, awesome and super kind employee. We shared the same names and she is very friendly and helpful. She informed about the jelly shock shadows. There was a shock warning so I was a bit hesitant to purchase such product. Jenny helped find the eyeliners and eyebrow pencils I wanted so thank you so much, Jenny! In my visit, I purchased the Nature Republic Waterproof Eyeliner in 02 Brown Nature Micro Slim Brow Pencil in Dark Brown This isn't my first time as a customer of Nature Republic and I really love their products. However, this is my first time to the Nature Republic Flushing Location. I had the worst experience at checkout. The (female) cashier was incredibly rude! While scanning my items, I asked her if she's suppose to be put my number (membership points or something, I'm still confused about it. you can read why later in this review). Usually, they would right? However this cashier starts scolding me, YES, scolding a customer, for not telling her my number prior. She claims it is too late and I, she said, I, should have remember to tell her the number. I quote these exact words, "well.. you should've told me your number." Seriously? I was baffled and embarrassed at how impolite she could be. After receiving my number by giving me a piece of paper to write it on, she just throws it on the area behind the counter. I asked her a question about the membership, if I would get the points. It took me, believe me, 5 tries to actually get that question to her brain. This cashier constantly ignored and rolled her eyes on a customer. Finally, with a - what I can describe as annoyed- voice, "you'll get your points". I never knew I would have to make such a huge effort to get service! And this service I received at checkout is horrible. I would love to give 5-stars because Jenny was amazing at assisting me, however whoever this cashier is, ruined my Nature Republic visit and possibly damaged my mood too. read more

Buyer Beware!!! If you are purchasing the products, there is no issue. Products are good and service is good, just double check your receipt when making any returns. If you make a return be sure they return the tax on your items because they didn't return the tax on my purchase. I went back to get my tax back and the cashier claims that the system sometimes have issues refunding the tax back. You can tell she was lying because she took a calculator to figure out how much refund I should get. Then she manually processed the refund. I don't like shady people. You charge me tax but yet you don't want to refund it back to me?! read more

Update: finally stopped by the day after work and was able to make my way through somewhat this time. Picked up some products that caught my attention to buy them although I had hope for some recommendation from the staff there. Again, saw a group of 3-4 of them in one area chatting away. Anyway, I spent total about $40 and was give one freebie/sample despite 2 basket full of them in the front. Disappointed but perhaps they needed to have enough for everyone else? Or that they think not everyone wants freebies/samples -hello? Who wouldn't love them right. Regardless, I'm excited to try these products and I have a feeling I will be returning, more often if the staff are more welcoming and helpful. Note: they currently have the grand opening promotion going on now (50% off some selected items) and EXO freebies with certain amount of purchases. So if you are a fan go check it out now. The prices are decent, some lower than I expected. read more

This place is awful!!! The chinese speaking employees spoke with attitudes, rude, constantly rushing customers! One chinese speaking sales person was rushing my mom and said: 你買還是不買！aka :you gonna buy it or not! Terrible customer service! The corporate office needs to give some training to the employees! Or hire the polite workers! Doesn't matter what language the customers speak, should always treat them nice and be polite! read more

Overall, it was nice. The staffs were friendly. However, it bothers me a little that the staffs kept asking if I need help (3 times within 5 minutes), and I can feel them watching. Just need a little more personal space. The one in Ktown has more selection. Other then that I love their products! read more

**Only goes out to the manager at this location** Came in last night to buy a few products. The girls out on the floor were great, greeted me right away when I came in and stopped by to see if I needed any help WITHOUT being pushy. I have sensitive skin so I asked the girl on the floor if she could help tell me if the cleansing oil I wanted to buy would suit my skin, she wasn't sure and said she was going to ask the manager and that's totally fine but when the girl asked the manager if it's good for sensitive skin, she shot me a dirty look. ??? For what reason, I'm not sure. I looked around the store some more and decided to check out. She was at the register texting on her phone, I get it, we all text but even though I said hi, trying to pay for my stuff, she still wouldn't look up from her phone. Finally as she's STILL texting (while looking down at her phone), she reaches one arm out for the basket I was holding. Doesn't make any eye contact, puts everything in the bag, I pay and she goes right back to texting. read more

I have visited this location a few times. My first time going in was good. The only complaint would that some of the girls when asked about a product wasn't sure if it was good for my skin. She looked very unsure, another thing was her English was very minimal which didnt allow i guess for her to explain the benefits of the product. Lastly i didnt like the whole following around to me thats just annoying. But this latest trip i can say they have greatly improved. I went in for some hydrating essence and the girl who helped me Lucky knew what she was talking about and very informative. Plus she was very welcoming!! Overall their products so far have worked for me. read more

Walked in as usual because I use this product for moisturizing purposes. Two sales assistants greeted my friend and me. Yes they were very helpful and so nice to the point where I felt a bit obligated to purchase at least something but I knew what I'm getting as soon as walked through the ailes. Now here's what made me feel very uncomfortable. I went up to the counter to pay and the cashier asked my ID. I didn't have my ID at that moment and I told her that I'm gonna go through my phone if I have a photo of it. I went through picture in my phone to see if I still have the one I took long time ago. Meanwhile I saw two customers purchased their products and they were not asked. HERE, I understand that you need to check someone's ID if you feel like your gut says so but I felt very uncomfortable knowing that other customers aren't asked while I was. That basically means that the cashier probably thought that my card isn't mine but it's stolen or something. Otherwise there is no way you can hold your customer for more than 10 minutes on line while other customers are fine with their payment. My friend ended up came up to the counter and asked me what happened and he said he was just as uncomfortable and clueless as I was. So I told them that I'm going to come back with my ID next time. That's it. They didn't say anything about why they needed to see my ID or even a word of kindness to make me feel somewhat better than not hearing anything from them. I don't know if it's only me but I did not like how all the employees in that room looked at me like I'm a thief or something except the girl who helped me. She was the only one who said thank you and good bye. Next time if you are going to check someone's ID please tell them the reason at least instead of just saying "take your time." I know they are doing their job and probably they went through some trouble regarding stolen cards or something but a kind explanation would suffice. Well that one star is for the sales assitant who helped me otherwise I wouldn't have given anything. Now I feel like not coming to this store anymore though I have been their regular customer. read more
