After visiting so many Asian stores it was a bit odd to find this one. Nature Republic sold beauty products. The store looked new. It carried shampoos, cleansers, make up, lotions, fragrances and more. I also saw silk worm cocoons. I have used them for art but not as a beauty product. According to staff, many people use the for facial exfoliation. The cocoons can fit on your finger making it a handy tool. Staff were very helpful. Lot parking available. read more

I came in thinking they close at 10PM but actually it was 9PM. The staff there were so friendly and didn't shoo me away but was direct that there was only 3 minutes until closing. She still helped me choose a lip balm and even demonstrated on her skin what it'll end up looking like. I wasn't pressured into getting more. I got what I needed pretty quickly. read more

I was in need of some skin care while visiting Flushing and noticed this store having a HUGE SALE. Almost everything was 70% off? I grabbed a bunch of face masks, makeup wipes, and other essentials. The staff gave out free samples too! This is also a fun spot for k-pop fans. Buy $15 worth of products, and you get an NCT-127 photocard from their collab! Pretty good deal :) They also have cardboard cutouts featuring most of the members around the store. read more

Great customer service! I always go here when when I run low on skincare products! I especially recommend going there when they have the 70% off sale read more

Great Korean skincare store with cleansers, face masks, creams, etc. I went during their Black Friday sale and everything was HEAVILY discounted. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave suggestions on products. I got some face creams and hand lotion which so far I like. Definitely would visit again! read more

Amazing Selection and Helpful Staff! My must stop by whenever I'm in the area. Highly recommend the aloe vera gel

They usually have their promotional wheel free for spinning on weekends. But now it's available every single day. My friends and I took turns spinning and we each got something and it was fun. Six people spinning and only one of us made a purchase; Their staff didn't give us any dirty looks or attitude. I've always had a friendly staff help, and to my surprise ...I've never had a bad experience shopping here. I'm usually there for their black Friday sales, or other major annual discounted promotions. Regardless of the sale or how steep the discounts are, they always offer free samples and depending on how much is purchased there's always a few tiers of freebies for qualified purchases. Their products are made with quality and so far nothing disappointed me or those. They have a rewards program, without a physical card. This store location have their own wechat group to connect and promote to their target audience. And since covid, they've been having more sales and offering free shipment. read more

Came here on Sunday afternoon and this place had quite a lot of people! But it's fine because there were lots of girls walking around asking if we needed any help choosing products! There was a huge variety of skin care stuff! I didn't realize this was a Korean brand. Everything was very affordable also! I got mascara, eyeliners, concealer and face creams! There was so much more to see but my kids were getting impatient with me! I'll def be back soon! Everyone that worked there was so nice too! The cashier Fiona was super helpful, knowledgeable, professional and nice! Thanks for all your help! read more

I've walked past the Korean company, Nature Republic many times over the years and I finally decided to check it out. The store's big sale made it even more enticing to do some shopping. The staff took the time to assist me and made recommendations. While I did request for samples, they unfortunately did not have any available at the time and did not offer smaller sizes for purchase. One observation I have about beauty stores in general is the unsanitary nature of customers helping themselves to test products. As an unrealistic solution, the staff recommended that I try testing the product on the side of my face myself. I have dry skin and needed a daily face cleanser. The staff recommended the Jeju Sparkling Foam Cleanser, which claims to be moisturizing. After bringing the product home, I tried it out and noticed that the scent was quite familiar, as it's a common fragrance found in other creams. The texture of the product was creamy, and I didn't notice much foam Unfortunately, it dried out my skin. In my opinion, this product seem to be more suitable for oil skin so it is falsely advertised. In terms of improvements, I would suggest that the store have the staff handle the testers instead of the customers, especially when it comes to facial products. Additionally, it's important not to falsely advertise products to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Overall, I felt let down by my experience at Nature Republic. I was excited to finally purchase Korean beauty products in America, but ended up feeling ripped off. read more

This Nature republic has been open for so many years. Its a small store packed with a-lot of items and there is always a sale or a turning sale wheel during the holidays. And their scents are very mild and nice. I have frequently gotten mini hand creams and nail polish. They had some great eyeshadow colors for different seasons. What I do really miss is that they use to carry beauty tools like the vibrating eye massager and eye roller went back many times and they just don't carry or make it any more. The staff is friendly. read more

I like checking out Nature Republic whenever I'm in the area as they always seem to have sales going on. This time there were some items discounted to $1/$5 displayed in the front. I wish they had a sink like the location in Koreatown did. I had wanted to test out nail polish colors but there were no cleaning pads to wipe off the polish and only a bottle of almost empty nail polish remover. There were no disposable applicators for their makeup either which was a bit disappointing. But I guess if you're shopping for skincare products that doesn't really matter too much. Super friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The store is well organized and the price is so much better than other beauty stores.

This place has great products at excellent prices! I ended up buying a set of 5 products for $60 when each piece is sold for $20 each. Do drop in if you're in the area! They have great specials! read more

For all my skincare needs, I come to Nature Republic. There's always some sort of sale, and the employees are all so sweet. I always feel like a kid walking out of a candy store when I come here, the prices are reasonable, and I've never had a bad experience. read more

We shopped here Mother's Day weekend May 2022 and everything was 50% off! I always love Nature Republic and was super bum when all the LA stores closed down during Covid. So I knew I had to stock up there! They had a spinning wheel for free gift but they just gave us a big package of everything with every $50 purchase. They would not budge for a 2nd gift when our total was $97.xx though lol But it's okay, their quality is good and their prices are affordable unlike other Korean brands. I never had allergic reactions to their products and the store has a much extensive selections than online! There were some products that I've never seen before, so I wish they will re-open the LA stores. read more

I'm a born& raised Korean & I like this Korean cosmetic brand. Seeing signs in the store saying 'sanitize your hands (before trying)', asked staff but they simply replied they do not have it. Generally cosmetic stores keep hand sanitizer in Korea so I was expecting the same. I think cosmetic stores should keep hand sanitizers in such a high traffic area. read more

Love nature republic, I first found them on amazon and ordered their aloe for a bug bite. I was surprised to find they had a physical shop in flushing! One thing I love about this store is that they have helpful staff and most of all, pretty insane sales! They give you a discount from liking them on yelp, along with heavily discounted skincare products that are close to the "shelf life" for a fraction of the price online. For example, I got some serum and night/day creams for just $3 each! (Bought some the previous day when they were $5 each and then had to come back and get more for $3). read more

the place was very organized and clean , I've bought products from there a peel off mask and a makeup remover and other things , but lemme say this. There was this dude who worked there ain't gonna describe him bc of privacy but YES I THINK IM IN LOVEEEEE SHKSKSKSKSKS read more

This is probably my favorite Nature's Republic branch! Definitely the most friendliest staff members comparing to other branches! I always get greeted at the door, I get my personal space to shop around until I need assistance (THANK YOU!!!), and staff members are knowledgeable about their products whenever I need a recommendation! I am impressed! I am guilty of spending most of my money and time whenever I am in Flushing. There are always new products on the shelves that interest me. Products here seems to be light and not harsh on my skin at all. I feel relaxed and free whenever I use the products instead of grease like other brands I have tried in the past. I love it that their products cater to your skin type, too! I am a big fan of their skin care products! You will always get free samples with every purchase and free gifts, if you spend over a certain amount. Don't Forget To: 1. Show your student ID for a discount. 2. Sign up for their rewards program. 3. For you EXO-L's, load up on products with your bias' face on it! read more

Love their nail polish but this location doesn't seem to care much for customers. I wasn't greeted when I recently visited being that there were 5 staff huddled together talking about the most random things. I visit this location at least twice a month and same thing always happens. The only time someone came up to me was because I was holding something in my hand and the staff offered me a basket but rudely threw her card into my basket. Also, if you spend $50 and up, you receive a gift. It's displayed at the cash register and the staff obviously knows how the incentives work but didn't tell me. When I asked, she was hesitant to explain to me about the gift. Just know that this location doesn't try to offer any help or gifts unless you pressure the employees to help you. read more

I passed by Flushing so i went in to buy some gifts. It was under 30 degrees out and I was also carrying a couple of boxes from the post office. The lady at the front (manager I think?) saw that and gave me a large bag to carry my gifts and the boxes. So nice and good awareness! As for any nature republic store, workers do immediately follow you, but honestly if you just mention to them you are fine, ok or don't need help they leave you alone. read more

This is a great Nature Republic! The store is always clean, pretty and stocked. They have great products and a student discount. They also give you free gifts if you spend over a certain amount. (I got a hand cream and EXO notebook ^o^ ) *HOWEVER, some of the workers really follow you around and try too hard to sell the product. Good products, light on skin, reasonable prices, and good service. A few different items from makeup, nail polish, face mask, face wash, moisturizer, etc. A decent sized stores and sometimes they are promoting products so it's cheaper if you buy in bulk. Love their aloe vera gel. Haven't tried their face mask yet so got two to try it out. The 10+10 are all in that box already. read more

I return to the store today and went to the front to make sure Vic was working. Once again very pleasing conversation and advice he gave to me. Also, he answered all my question and concerns about the store's products. I like how he has tried most of the products in the store to be knowledgeable about sensitive skin. I would really recommend going to the store and speak with Vic, he works weekends (Fri- Sun). I bought the Super Aqua Max collection (about $100) as this product made my skin feel soft, smooth, radiant and definitely did not irritate my skin. read more

I don't come here often to buy stuff. Today, I come by the place to get some hand sanitizers. I can not believe how rude the cashier was. She is the short one with short blonde hair. She has no smile and acts like I own her money. I thInk they would have good customer services, but no they don't. She needs a good customer services training. read more

The employees are on a different level of kind and helpful. They're extremely friendly and will assist you without pressuring you to make a purchase. If you find that they're too helpful, simply tell them you're looking around. I've never felt bothered--I've been to many of the Korean makeup stores in Flushing, including Skinfood, Club Clio, and The Face Shop, and this branch is by far my favorite. In terms of customer service and product line, it blows the other competition out of the water. Jenny is so sweet and knowledgeable--I adore coming to this store for her alone. I asked Jenny what pink lip tint and glitter eyeliner she had on, and she was excited to show me the exact products from the store and advise me on how to use them. She enthusiastically assisted me and another customer, even though her shift was over. The other employees are very nice and good at their jobs as well. The prices are extremely fair. With a quick search of two products online, where I do most of my makeup shopping, I was pleased to see that the markup is minuscule and can be made even smaller by the 5% student discount. I purchased the By Flower Triple Mousse Tint 4.5g #02 Orange Mousse ($13.90 in store, $12.46 on Amazon) and the By Flower Eyeshadow #33 Aurora Pink, which was $8.90 in store but sold out everywhere online (making this store even more invaluable). After using some of Nature Republic's makeup products for the first time, I've become a huge fan. The Aurora Pink is a beautiful glittery eyeshadow that will make you feel like a princess. It's forgiving in that it looks good with minimal effort, even if you're a newbie like me at applying eyeshadow. The lip tint comes in pink, red, orange, the last of which is very bright, but can be blended into a lovely peach color. With this selection, you can go for those popular gradient lips looks. The lip tint lasts surprisingly long, simply fading a bit when you eat without coming off or leaving patches. Best of all, they're lightweight and do not make your lips look cracked or dry. Goodbye, desert-dry matte lipsticks. The quality of the products already speaks volumes, but the excellent customer service and fair pricing are what make this branch a favorite for me. read more

This store is so aesthetically pleasing, that I almost never wanna walk out once I'm in. They happen to carry the best Korean skin products and also have hair care and certain make up products! I come into this location at least once a month, and I wouldn't shy away from giving them 5 stars if the workers weren't so overly friendly. They attack you as soon as you enter and force their opinions on the products down your throat. I'm someone who likes to be left alone while shopping so I don't appreciate that about this location. Other than that, its a great shop! read more

Love Nature's Republic! In terms of Korean beauty products, they have tons of great beauty products, and aren't as pricey as Tony Moly, The Face Shop and Club Clio. In particular I love their eyebrow pencils and their face oils and washes. One thing that I love about Natures Republic and in particular this shop is that they are super friendly and not pushy at all to buy any of the products. I was helped by Lorraine today and she was super helpful! She answered all my questions without trying to give unwanted advice or a makeover. read more

WORST Branch I've ever been. Union square branch by far the best. Terrible customer service. I went 2 days in a row. First day, I talked to an employee about these buy 10 get 10 free face masks and he told me that you have to get 20 of the same face mask and second day I ask a different employee who tells me that no, it's okay to mix and match. Also the employee from the first night didn't even say hi when I walked in, kept talking to his fellow coworker and wasn't till I stood by them for a while and started to talk and make eye contact did I receive any form of customer service. Day 2, the cashier was beyond dumb. Swiped my new gift card 5 plus times to tell me that "there no money on this card" like what??? THIS IS A NEW GIFT CARD WITH at least $30 bucks and yet she tells me that there's nothing on there? What's even worse is that when you buy up to a certain amount in $$ you're supposed to get free gifts and she didn't even give me my free gift for purchasing $25+ worth of products till I mentioned it to her that it says I'm supposed to get a free gift. OVERALL too many brand new employees who don't know what they are doing. Poor customer service. Basically ignores customers instead of the other branches where they would ask if you need any help and really try to help you out. read more

First of all, sign up for their emails. It's all about the emails. They are CONSTANTLY having out-of-this-world sales and you find out about them from the emails and the website: www.NatureRepublicFlushing.com. Don't go to the main USA site because the prices are double. I also love the Union Square store but I'll review that in a minute. This store was open for shipping all through COVID and I cannot tell you how many bottles of their AMAZING smelling hand sanitizer I bought. I would say I place an order to be delivered every week or two- YES! You heard that right. The sales are irresistible! And their skincare is top notch and not as heavily scented as many other Korean brands I've used (which is a LOT of brands). Their makeup is great too but I've barely put on makeup this year. The staff is amazing! They all know me and Jenny, the manager, even knows my voice! They give me a lot of extras for being a good customer. I should mention they ship in the U.S. with a mere $15 (pre tax) order. Go to the website and you'll see everything I say is true. I generally email in my order and call to pay, but that's not necessary. Their loyalty program is also great and you quickly build up $5 credits. This is probably my favorite store, both shopping in-store and online. read more
