Recently picked up Essie polishes for $3.25. Essie shades are listed by numbers (see photos) so come prepared with numbers rather than names of shades. The owners speak limited English but do speak Mandarin. They carry recent shades (Spring 2018 colors) as well! Limited selection of top and base coats, but they carried Seche Vite top coats. Cash only! The store is small and dimly lit but the owner lets you browse for a long time and will come by every so often to see if you need help. He's very nice although he does just stand around sometimes as you browse (well intentioned although it can be awk). Will be back! read more

This is a wholesaler so don't expect a beautiful storefront. The staff here are very helpful with no attitudes given. I found this place via yelp and went solely for nail polish and was not disappointed. I do have to say that down the block along Farrington St. are a few more nail supply wholesalers with bigger and neater store fronts, but all these stores really sell the same things for the same price. I'm only deducting one star because there are quite a few nail polishes that seem a bit too old for use and that deterred me from getting some pretty colors. You could tell when the polish separates in the bottle and that's the only thing that threw me off, but whatever, saved me a few bucks and saved me from going crazy with the colors. Prices as of June 2015: Essie - $3.25 OPI - $4.00 Duri - $2.75 China Glaze / Color club - I saw a sign that said "black caps" $2.50 aka the ones with the black top, but dunno how the pricing works with the white capped bottles. Honestly though, IDC because I hate China Glaze and Color Club that I can barely tell them apart anymore. I think the colors are crappy, trashy, and they don't stay on half as well as the other brands mentioned above. another updated review! i've been coming here more often than my other usual spots on Farrington St. because Ace ALWAYS have the newest collections. it's awesome because when i want new nail polishes, i WILL be able to find them there (hello OPI Nordic collection, OPI 50 shades of grey collection!). the OPI polishes are $4 and they're tax free, so they have the best prices around. don't let the warehouse like appearance deter you, go and you will be in nail polish heaven. :-) read more

I needed monomer urgently and I found this gem. It was New Years and I went at around 4:45 pm. A lot of stores closed early but this one was open until 6 (I called ahead). They didn't rush me at all and I went with my family so they all got excited and picked stuff up and NO ONE BOTHERED US. They have a huge selection of polishes and sets even GLAM AND GLITS (which is hard to find IN STORE + WITH A REASONABLE PRICE). The essie polishes was $3.25 so I picked up 10 lol. OPI was $5 Duri was $2.75. The swatch sticks they had were very helpful in picking colors. The newly released polishes are up front by the cashier. I listed the prices for each item in the products list below. I'm not a licensed tech but I do nails. They literally have materials for everything. Even big quantities of cuticle cleanser, monomer, acetone etc. The bottles to contain each liquid are sold separately. I loved the acrylic sets they had because I can do colorful nail sets without wasting any acrylic by buying the small 1 oz. acrylic pots. My total came up 178.50 for everything and they gave me an itemized list of each thing (plus some free goodies). The stuff is a bit dusty but it doesn't look old or spoiled. I'll share my experience and let you be the judge of whether or not this place deserves your time or your business. It was a warm summer night and I was waiting for the Q50 a block or so away when I noticed the storefront still had it's lights on. I am naturally nosy by nature and had about 30 minutes to kill before the next bus came so I wandered down towards the lights to have a look (hoping it was food, but that's neither here nor there). So, after realizing this store sells beauty supply stuff, although the first things I saw were nail polish and that's pretty much the only thing I'd seen while I was getting lost in the aisles and aisle of affordable and (seemingly) up to date nail polishes. After grabbing one that I thought would be great to try I walked up to the register. I wasn't really acknowledged so I just waited as they played around with the register and spoke to each other. Keep in mind, I had thirty minutes to kill, so waiting wasn't a problem especially since I work in customer service and it might've been almost time to close. I get it, you have paperwork that needs to be done and you have to close out registers, put receipts in order, inventory and the like. So, after about 6 minutes of waiting another woman appears next to me waiting to be rung up and they ring her up promptly and talk to her a bit. I ask the guy (not the woman) behind the counter why is it that no one even attempted to ring me up when I had been standing there patiently and was given an excuse about how they are not supposed to even sell these as single items. I didn't even notice what the other woman had bought but I highly doubt it was a giant purchase since she was in and out in a flash. After telling them that this is poor customer service and if that's the store rule it should be written or displayed so that people will know there is a minimum on merchandise the woman behind the counter gets nasty. She tells me that basically I can just deal with the lack of service because I am not a nail technician so I should essentially be grateful that they would be even willing to let me get away with buying one nail polish even if I have to wait like a second class citizen. I ask her how she knows whether I am or am not a technician and how she can tell my profession from looking at me which she scoffs and smirks at me and then talks to the man beside her. He motions for me to put my polish down so I can pay and leave, but I put the polish on the counter and walked out. I have not been back since and I don't recommend them to people to go there if they need anything, polish or otherwise. read more

This place is essentially a wholesale store for Nail Salons. They sell all the supplies that can be found in a salon plus more. Just a warning the area looks sketchy since its in the factory/warehouse section of Flushing. Definitely take a friend who is up for an adventure. My Asian friend who knows the ins and outs of Flushing brought me to this place. Seems like everybody here has been brought by a friend lol. I was looking for nail polishes, but I found out they have other things like, professional grade wax, body lotions, etc. I definitely agree that the neighborhood is located in an industrial and shady looking area, but the people that helped me were friendly. I saved a lot of money coming here and customer service was nice, although the sales people do have a little bit of accents, but I will continue coming back.
