Depending on the day, you may encounter either helpful or unhelpful team members. Lately, I've had several disappointing experiences with the customer service. In particular, I've encountered an employee with yellowish hair and very long nails, as well as a heavier-set employee with glasses who is often by the register. Unfortunately, both have come across as having an attitude, and the employee with glasses in particular was rude and lacked any type of customer service skills. Many of the employees make you feel as though they are doing you a favor by assisting you rather than genuinely wanting to help. In my opinion, this is one of the worst Sephora locations in NYC when it comes to customer service. They carry plenty of products that I would otherwise be interested in purchasing, but I'm not comfortable spending my money somewhere I don't feel appreciated as a customer. I often go in wanting to purchase products but leave empty handed due to the poor experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall customer experience.

I hesitate to say they have it all, but they sure got a lot of stuff from all over. The selection of imported stuff is pretty unreal. They have items from all over the world, but a fairly big chunk of it comes from Asia. We're talking Japanese Shisheido and a whole slew of Korean beauty products. For the latter, I know folks who find the convenience of shopping here rather than ordering the product online. They also have a pretty solid selection of wigs as well, in addition to an extensive variety of hair products. They even have a number of masks for sale, which is perfect for the pandemic. Customer service is friendly and the prices seem affordable. They do take credit card here and it's super close to the subway. _____________ (#1) Hello review. Nail supplies: this store is located in the middle of a no frills neighborhood, but it manages to stock itself with some of the most wanted nail art supplies ahead of some of my favorite specialty stores. Idk how they do it, but everything from acrylic nail maintenance to pedicure specific supplies can be found here. Their prices always range on the lower end of what to expect as this store is not known for their nail supplies. Their prices are more than fair and you can pay by card if you meet their minimum (which I believe is about $10)

I tell the lady behind the glass door my name and that I am here to pick up products! They do NOT open the door to speak to anyone because they are terrified that they might catch the virus. Even though we are all wearing masks!! She finally returns, and says to me behind the glass door, " there are no products for you here! And I didn't speak to you on the phone." And then she completely walks away from the door! At this point, I am baffled! I actually did call and speak to someone, but if they don't have my order ready, shouldn't they have asked me what I needed?? Instead, this lady completely ignores me and walks away from the door as if I am invisible!! Smh! What is wrong with people? So, I had to call her on the phone to let her know that I'm STILL standing in front of the store waiting for her assistance! She says "I only have one brand in stock, so what do you need? " I told her, that is the exact brand that I'm looking for. She finally gets it for me! Oh, I'm sorry, am I bothering you? Very disappointing! My hairdresser recommended this place to me, but I will never go back! I will stick to Sally's beauty supply, where they treat people like human beings!
