The aisles can be a little tight and hard to navigate if there's supplies being put away. The prices are fair and I was able to find everything I needed. This store does not give refunds. Store credit only. In my opinion, they do not post their refund policy conspicuously. Therefore, if you make a purchase you're stuck with it. A no-refund/no-return policy for hair or wigs, makes sense and signs to that effect are posted elsewhere in the store. But for their other products, your only notice is on your receipt. It is true that within the store, there is a sign listing their refund policy. And, in fact it's posted behind the counter. However, it is not labeled "Refund Policy" - it is labeled "Store Policy" and it's quite difficult to read the details of that policy. They have a very easy to read sign labeled "Store Policy" posted above the register which outlines their credit card policy. (If I can figure out how to post a picture, you will see how difficult it is to read their "refund policy" and how easily you can read their credit card policy.) My point is that there is no clearly visible sign in the store that states very simply, "Store Credit Only" and then lists all limitations and restrictions prior to your purchase. Im baffled with the rudeness of the cashier and one of the sellers, one who wear extensions. I went there to buy extensions not even caring about the price. Tge cashier was extremely rude explaining I couldn't get either an exchange or a refund because I couldn't try tge extensions. I explained her that ir was my first time trying it and she was extremely rude about ir as well. One of the sellers used extensions I asked some advices to her and I wanna her to show me how she cliped the extensions she was also super rude, didn't show me and turned her back on me. In times of Covid when you enter a beauty store probably you need help to feel pretty and feel good. This two ladies only made me feel even worse. What a pity. Everyone working here is very rude. I walked in one day, just looking at keratin treatments (what they all had in common, the direction and the better buy) and I was followed as if I was going to steal something. After the manager asked me if I needed help for the third time I told her I'm just comparing the products, she brings me to the front and sells me the most expensive bottle because not only did I tell her I've never done this, I also told her I was buying for someone else. This happened to be the only beauty supply store in the neighborhood that sells products for African American hair. Definitely overpriced for example a wig camp is $1-2 anywhere else here is $5 to $6 it must be crack they are smoking with these ridiculous prices. Whomever they have opening for them they open whenever they feel like it sometimes 9:50am or 10am or 10:30am as they did today. The last time I came here it was 10am I showed up today and it was 10:30. Huge lack of consistency. If I can avoid having to purchase anything here I do. I have also before been charged twice for something I purchased once and they refused to give me back my money. I then went and filed a claim with my bank to get my money back. Please avoid coming here if you don't have to I would go all the way to bk or order on amazon before I spend my money here. Worst beauty supply store. Went here to get mascara and when I got home the masacara was dry. Went back the next day and told them that it was dry. The cashier tested it and told the manager it was dry and the manger said just tell her it's not. The cashier and manager didn't know I spoke Spanish. After replying in Spanish and calling them out they gave me a replacement. I told them to open it to make sure it was dry. They open three and finally found one that was dry. read more

I've been visiting this store for the past three or four years because they used to be a little bit less expensive than the other cosmetics stores in the neighborhood, I was able to find stuff I couldn't find elsewhere, and they would always have a lot of products on discount. This was in the past. For the past one year every time I've been there I have been more disappointed than the last one. Now the prices are not competitive to the rest of the stores in on the same street, and they rarely have what I need. For example, yesterday, they would have every single creme and hard depilatory wax imaginable but not the basic honey wax most people are using, and no cloth strips (for those who have no idea, one cannot use the one without the other). I thought that I should finally leave some feedback, but the staff is so rude that I simply decided I'm not returning to this business again. The "manager" wouldn't even listen to what I have to say, and tried to tell me in half sentences that the boss is never around and he is responsible for the orders so there is nothing he could do. Warning... run from this store! this store does NOT give you REFUNDS or EXchanges for items NOT USED. YOU will have to argue just to get store credit, but they will give you credit to buy something else. The so-called signs are posted VERY SMALL near register and not easy to see. I can/do understand the policy for wigs, hair products and even to some extent liquid hair products, anything personal. I bought my daughter a comb, brush, hair spray , gel most we kept. The brush was never used and as stated in receipt "in saleable condition" with receipt 14 days from sale. Since it was NEVER used, I simply asked for store credit yet they gave me a hard time.
