As with most nurseries, the indoor tropical plants and succulents are displayed inside the vicinity. There's a small greenhouse across the main building where you can find some of the larger indoor plants. Outdoor in the back, you can find annuals and other seasonal plants. In the summer, they occasionally have succulents out in the back as well. FYI-- If you're loyal a plant parent, who tends to frequently shop for plant supplies, make a rewards card!

In fact, it seems that aside from their young trees, their focus is on smaller plants which makes sense due to the limited space. I do appreciate that they offer young trees and have a good selection of hydrangeas in the spring. They have a good selection of hydrangea trees. The customer service is generally OK. I went to PlantHouse for a DIY terrarium workshop and ended up purchasing a Bird of Paradise, snake…read moreplant, and a Raven ZZ plant. Unfortunately, the quality has been disappointing. I specifically asked that the plants be checked for pests before purchasing. The associate was very nonchalant about my concern and did not actually inspect them. She instead told me to buy Deadbug Brew which should have given me pause. The next morning, I found fungus gnats on the sticky traps I set up and a centipede in the Bird of Paradise soil. When I called PlantHouse about the issue, their response was essentially that I could bring the plant back and they would give me new soil. I instead took it to another local plant shop, where they found several leaves infested with spider mites. Since then, the air plants for the terrarium have died (they weren't in the best shape to begin with), my Raven ZZ is dying, and the snake plant is declining. ZZ and snake plants are notoriously hardy, so having both struggle this quickly raises concerns for me about the quality of the plants purchased. I definitely won't be back and do not recommend this place.

The plants had expired & we gambled and attempted to return them 10 days past the warranty. The young lady took the plants back and assisted us and advised us in terms of our options moving forward. I additionally contacted the owner Jo in reference to some landscaping work and he advised me that he is booked until next month. By booked he meant unavailable to give an estimate until next month. If there is a knock against Heaven's Garden their plants will be a little smaller than you'd fine in a "Non" Organic Nursery. Last year when they were less busy, Jo walked us around and gave us useful tips on how to plant our brush. The young lady this time explained that even when you do everything right factors like wind, soil acidity, mulching, and fertilizer deficiency can play a part in failure.

Running short on time, it was suggested I try Heavens Garden, as it was much closer to home. I called, and was given directions and told the lady what I needed, i.e. compost, gloves, and most importantly on this trip, Peonies!! I told her i would be right down. When I arrived I was met at my truck by this very friendly woman, who said, "you must be the Peonie lady!" lol! As she was walking me to the "Peonies" I was looking around..very well kept grounds, and all areas of interest were clearly marked with signs telling you what type of plants could be found there. They even had areas marked, "Sun Loving", "Shade Loving" ect.. I was particularly impressed with the ornamental trees...all trees, and plants were extremely healthy and robust. I was told they grow all their wares on the farm just next door, and that it was a family operation. I was really happy with the knowledge, and the attention to customer satisfaction given to me. Loved my experience, and hope everyone gives this hidden gem a try! Kudos to Heaven's Garden!

One of the associates an older white man who looked like a rugged, Rambo-style wanna be tough guy displayed clear racist behavior toward me. From the moment we interacted, his tone and attitude were completely different from how he treated other guests. He was dismissive, curt, and made me feel unwelcome and singled out. This wasn't a simple case of bad customer service it was clear bias. What was supposed to be a fun, family-friendly outing quickly turned into an uncomfortable and upsetting experience. I will not be returning and would caution others to be mindful of how they're treated here.
