So this one is closer to my house but every time I come I'm followed around and literally have no…read moreidea why. The greeters are always great. By the time I leave there is always another person though. I love to walk around the store and look at everything as I am with my child or children. We are bored and like to look and buy things. It's that simple. Every single time I go to this Walmart I'm followed around by creepy people and even the "personal shoppers" like bro back up and go find someone that's actually shop lifting! lol and literally talking about me putting my phone in my bag. lol very secretive... And honestly pick up sucks to that's why I started going in again, they take FOREVER, some of the people are cool though over there, the disabled guy that was at the front today was awesome but yeah I don't like being followed around especially in the Walmart with my kid. I mostly go to Sam's and Costco but I'm forced to go here for something's. Guess I'll have to keep driving father to the other one so I'm not so disturbed. Like you think I'm stealing check my shit at the door and leave me alone while I'm walking around weirdos. I've scene plenty of people steal and employees are not on there tails. Ridiculous. Makes literally no sense. Yes I take my phone out of my pouch to scan your prices (cause there ALWAYS wrong or don't even have a price tag) my bad only giving it a two star cause some of the employees are nice, but most don't even say excuse me and just look like robots.

I had another one hit my cart due talking on her personal phone, (which you see a lot of), trying to read her order, and push the cart. Some of the isles can only accommodate one cart now and as I was checking I noticed the meat was leaking all over my food. I asked for paper towel and was completely ignored. Once the ppl in front left I had to asked for the third time, they were handed to me with heaviest sigh. No offer to get me a new meat or paper that was cover in blood, I threw put 4 rolls. I was pissed about my whole experience I couldn't ask for a manager I was afraid if u stayed one more minute I was going to get very loud. Never again, I will pay the extra to be treated with respect at Price Chopper. Grand re-opening doesn't mean grand new employees.

    MADI Apparel - Team MADI!

Well this place is pretty fantastic, ladies and gentlemen. Both mostly ladies…read more MADI Apparel is a socially conscious shop in the Westside neighborhood that you can feel great shopping at. It checks all the boxes: Locally owned? Yep, Kansas City ownership all the way. Made in KC? Yes, not a ton of clothing made in KC except for all the billions of screen-printers, but those are usually on outsourced tees. Sustainable? Yep. Made from bamboo, the fastest growing plant. Quality? 100%, these are meant to last. Altruistic? Very, and let me explain: I didn't realize this, but after going into MADI they explained that underwear is the most needed, yet most under-donated item in the US. That's for places like domestic shelters, in disaster relief scenarios around the world, for sexual assault victims in crisis centers, and on and on. Now get this: For every intimate you buy at MADI, they donate a pair of underwear. That's pretty badass, and they are sincerely helping out in the world in so many ways. You can buy from their website, but if you're in KC you can pop into the fun little shop around the other shops and restaurants on the hill in the Westside, and I highly recommend you do -- and gents, this makes for a great surprise gift for the Ms./Mrs.

And I must say, I love love loved Madi Apparel! To start off with their products are beautiful! I adored the lavender dye they used for a previous season and fell in love with a cute pair of shorts in the lovely color. A shawl/sari/wrap rounded out my purchases, a beautiful deep wine color that I wore the next day at work! The service was incredibly friendly and warm, explaining their mission and drive to provide undergarments to women in need. All in all a great visit, I'd love to see an SF or Berkeley location!

The selection of…read morefood was good, I ordered the chocolate filled croissant today and plan on returning to try the Pelmini (which I haven't had the opportunity to eat in years!). I also had a decaf iced latte, which was tasty. Both my mom and I agreed that the food was good and richly flavored. The employee who served us was both nice and knowledgeable, answering any questions we had about food options we weren't familiar with in easy to understand, succinct terms. When I went (mid afternoon on a Tuesday) it was pretty quiet, with one employee in the front and a couple of other patrons seated. There was some pop music in the background on low volume, which I appreciated. Overall the vibe at that time of day on a weekday was very calm. I'm interested in checking out their karaoke, live music, and tea time nights/events in the future. They definitely look like fun ways to spend some time! Ultimately, if you're looking for good, casual European fare, including Eastern European, or even if you're just curious, I absolutely recommend European Market and Cafe.

I want to come back and try every single menu item! The grocery part is expensive but that's not so surprising considering the tariff situation, and I'm happy to support them. The vibes in here need some work- it's cold (I was gonna dine in and then changed my order to take out and eat in my sun warmed car). The music is bad American alternative (wrong vibes for the European Café and Market). The lights are fluorescent (ouchie on the eyes). Could use a cozier vibe. But a perfect stop to grab picnic items before heading out!
