I can't begin to properly express how much I despise coming here and dealing with their unfriendly, snooty, stuck up staff. But their selection of food and supplies is so dang comprehensive and quality that I'm compelled to shop here. Whoever their buyer is they're fire. This is one of the only places near me where I can consistently find items I'm looking for, so since my options are limited I come here. We usually have a good experience here with most employees, so we wish we could give this location a better review but there is a miserable older lady who is repeatedly so rude that wash checking us out. Very bad customer service people acted like they didn't want to work at least they earned one star

Was up north Division to go to Office Depot . . . and spotted this next door. I shop at the 29th Ave branch frequently, so I stepped inside. Same great brands, some a little high in price but great organic brands I like. Like the 29th Ave Natural Grocers, everyone was friendly and helpful. I've been doing the Whole30 off and on for several years and this market is on point with a majority of the products I need. They have a large supplement and personal care section. You are sure to find what you need here. They carry a large number of organic brands. Great selection of produce and fresh meats as well as dairy and non-dairy. The "Crunch Factor" here is very high, which means that if you are looking for specialized health products or very "clean" convenience food you will find it here. I saw many brands and items that I had never before seen! If you like to eat healthfully I think this is a nice place to discover new products that fit into your lifestyle. They had good prices on natural products in my opinion, especially soaps, snacks, etc. I got a really nice kid's mineral sunscreen that was fragrance free, water resistant, and free of oxybenzone. It only cost me $7.99 so I feel that was a win! I thought their fresh produce section could have been larger, but I was charmed by the mini book store in the back area. I have one small complaint based on my visit... the power randomly went out for 30 seconds while I was there. I hope they figure it out soon because it was unsettling! read more

I've been really happy with my experienced here. Great brands. A recent time that I was in I'd overestimated the size of my shopping basket and was struggling a bit to carry it. An employee named Brian noticed, and despite being on the opposite side of the store from the shopping carts he went and got me one. I was very appreciative, and my arms were too! If you take natural supplements or want good fresh fruits and vegetables, then this is the place for you. I'm from Los Angeles and used to a Whole Foods close by, or farmer's markets held everyday of the week at several locations throughout L.A. So I'm used to the best quality in EVERYTHING especially food, fresh foods in particular. A one stop shop for natural supplements too. My hubby can't always keep up with what I take. So when I'm out of commission, I've a chronic illness so I rely on a few natural supplements that truly help. So if I call and ask whoever answers the phone, last few times was a very nice man named Brian if I re-call correctly has been very helpful. He put aside 1 bottle of what I needed, so my husband could geIt it from an associate without hunting for it after a king day at work. it's a busy place too, so that's great help. Being used to customer service always bring top notch in L.A. I am impressed by the customer service at Natural Grocers. It is clean, well stocked, well staffed, and has excellent customer service! LOVE LOVE LOVE this store. My mom and I were trying to kill some time while we waited for the mall to open. We just happened to see this store as we were driving. Ol first things first.. very friendly staff.. and unlike another natural food store in town they aren't rude!!! Prices are great. We often use thrive market online because sometimes the prices at natural food stores are out of control but this place is very comparable and in some instances better. They have a very small meat section which I hope ens up growing to more fresher meats. But what they do have is great. They have hot dogs that are grass fed and slaughter yard free. Love that. They also have some great bison selections. Upon checking out we were invited to their ice cream social and found out they have a rewards program. So excited for this new store!!! read more

I've been trying to shop more organic, so I recently started shopping at Natural Grocers on Division. I am very disappointed with their food. Their chicken is sicken to where I literally just have it to my dog. And just YESTERDAY, I paid almost $6 for a tiny container of raspberries and I go to eat them today and they covered in mold. I'm assuming I bought them with mold already on them OR they literally went bad over night. I get that more organic food is not going to last very long, but ONE day!? For paying such high prices, I expect the be able to have my food for a couple days before it goes bad. Some of the berries look fine, but there is mold INSIDE some of the berries that look "fine". read more

They are all amazing individuals who care about your well being and seem to have a passion for healthy living. Great grocery store for organic, vegan, and gluten-free items. They carry my favorite GF brands and the prices are on par with other natural grocers that I've shopped at. They even beat out some of their competition in that department. While all their produce is organic, keep in mind that this is a chain store and they sell hardly any local fruits and vegetables. I come here primarily for dry goods and some non-dairy items I really can't find anywhere else in town. read more

When you shop there check the prices of the things you buy. Many times my daughter and I was over charged. Has a certain price on an item but it may show a higher price when the cashier rings you up. I no longer shop there, they want to rip you off. Also, the employees are looking more weird. Men with ear rings in their ears. Men and women with ugly tattoos all over their body. by far my favorite store in Spokane. I like the all organic produce section. The store has the biggest selection of natural supplements and beauty. I love that they keep nuts in refrigeration because they should always be stored this way. Good selection of vegetables and dairy products. Health Conscious SuperStore!!! Just a block south of Northtown Mall on Division St. and tucked back a bit from the street. It can be easily missed while driving down busy Division., but if you find it I think you'll be impressed at the huge selection of natural foods and products. Big inventory of vitamin supplements, protein & plant powders, fresh organic produce, skin care products that I particularly like that don't contain parabens, They also have a wide assortment of meat products, cheeses, and if you have a health conscious pooch they even got an aisle for that too. I could wander around this store all afternoon as they have a variety of products you generally don't find in other "health stores" in the area. The best part is that they have a demonstration kitchen in which they offer classes and free cooking demo's. They are also promote being environmentally friendly, so remember to bring your own re-usable shopping bag or purchase one of theirs. read more

I had read reviews about how helpful and friendly the folks at Natural Grocery were, but that was not my experience when I visited the store today. On the plus side, the Division Street location has an impressive selection of supplements. On the minus side, the employees were engaged in chatting with each other, while studiously ignoring the handful of customers who were in the store. I intentionally went during off-peak hours, when I knew the store would not be quite so busy. If you know exactly what you want, and do not need any assistance in helping you choose supplements, you probably will be satisfied with the wide selection. However, if you find rows and rows of supplements a bit daunting and would like assistance, you might be as disappointed as I was. read more
