The store is always clean and the staff is always kind. However, the digital coupons have got to stop. They are on so many things and just a hassle. I shouldn't have to do homework and research just to go shopping. You already have my member number so stop with all the extra tasks just to save some money. Very nice, clean store. But, I was very disappointed when no one helped me with groceries when leaving the store. Then the bags were packed and were extremely heavy! They were very hard to get into my car. Then some things are on sale only on Fridays, if you have a coupon or if you do some digital stuff on your phone. It gets confusing and would be nice if everyone just got the sale price like some other stores do. Very nice store but pretty frustrating. read more

Pharmacy staff is horrible. Waited in the "drop off" for my vaccine appointment. (Where they tell you to check in) after multiple eye contacts and 2 other people being helped through pick up I took it upon myself to go to "pick up" and ask "is this where I need to check in for a vaccine?" Staff rudely said ya take a seat around the corner. After waiting even longer and then proceeding to help even more people that walked in well after me. Overall I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time for them to gossip and pretend to actually do anything before I got my vaccine. Would never recommend. read more

I largely think that most chain grocery stores are interchangeable, but was very pleasantly surprised when I visited this Albertson's. The produce selection was very fresh with a great selection, even on the downhill trek into winter. The meat selection was the best I've seen in Spokane outside of a specialty shop. The shelves were stocked about as well as you see anywhere. The beer/wine selection is actually quite varied, which is good to see in a grocery store. Additionally, the people are friendly, which is always a plus. I seriously think this is the best chain store I've been to in any city. read more

Probably the most friendly supermarket staff in Spokane. You can tell they go out of their way to be attentive to the customers. I do wish they stocked more natural and healthy packaged foods. The selection is very middle of the road. Which leads me to my biggest complaint about the chain. All healthy foods are usually very high priced. For example, a no salt added canned good is so much more expensive than it's salty brother of the same item, type, brand etc. Frozen "healthy foods" are the highest priced in town. read more

I've been to several grocery stores in my life, usually the one I frequent is the one that's the closest to my house. Which is why I started to go to this Albertsons, but every time I go in I get greeted by friendly smiles & great customer service. That is the reason why I keep going back. I don't always need help when I shop but it is nice to know its there if I need it. read more

I never rate grocery stores but this one stinks! Expensive, way too big for the neighborhood, and crappy service. Never lanes open forcing you into the insanely, frustrating self check out. The thing never works and you can never get someone who can fix it, leaving you waiting forever when you should have just waited in line for a cashier! The parking lot is full of selfish, lazy idiots. People park right in front of the store blocking fire lanes, handicap lanes and ramps, and your view for checking for traffic. People don't return their carts and they are strewn all over the lot. People in my neighborhood suck..... But the store deserves no stars for its crappy service and over priced food. read more

I can't wait for this store to become more like Safeway! The staff is really friendly. But I'm not sure who is supposed to be stocking the shelves throughout the day. Doesn't seem like anyone is. I shop there a lot since I live close by. But every trip, I get a little more frustrated. They are often out of a lot of products I buy regularly. OFTEN. It's become almost laughable because it's so consistent lately. I have made requests to bring back the products I buy most often, but to no avail. When I find an alternative product and start buying that regularly, it also disappears off the shelf. I tried to buy fresh chicken breast the other day and by 6 p.m., the chicken was so picked over that the section was nearly empty. That's so annoying. It has gotten to the point where I kind of dread going into this Albertsons because they are either out of what I buy, or they've discontinued it. It's just gotten to be a difficult shopping trip and I'm going to start shopping at Rosauers and Safeway more frequently. Also, my boyfriend purchased a beautiful flower bouquet for me from the floral cooler and they were completely wilted and dead less than 12 hours later. That was a $30 bouquet. Someone needs to pull those expensive arrangements that have been in there too long and only look fresh because they've been refrigerated. read more
